About: Most of my experience was from growing up with my cockapoo Casey. He made me realize how much I enjoyed the company of dogs, and it made me more than happy to help family and friends with looking after their own pets when they would be away. I always want to make sure they're kept loved and appreciated and would do my best to make it feel like their routine is the same as it always is. Since I currently have a part-time job from home, I have the flexibility to take care of pets during the day for any food or potty breaks, as well as availability during the afternoon and evening to give dogs the love and attention they need. I live in a home without a fence, however we live in a neighborhood that makes for easy walking. There is also space indoors for dogs to run around and play with toys, which my previous cockapoo would do all the time.

About: I have lived with and played with dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a German Shepard, and later on, two cats. I started caring for dogs as an adult in 2023. I have experience pet sitting, dog walking, and playing with dogs and cats. I have a love for animals all shapes and sizes, and will make your pets' needs a top priority. I love to walk for miles, I love to be outdoors and play fetch and I also appreciate a good chill on the couch. If you dog likes to ride in the car we can go get a pup cup and stick our head out the window. Whatever rules, requirements or special needs your fur baby requires I am able to provide. I will never be gone more that four hours at an absolute maximum and that would be a rarity just depending if I am in a new area and want to explore a little. Amanda is the most responsible and caring dog sitter I’ve ever met. Our family had a trip planned, and initially we left our dog at PetSmart. Unfortunately, due to anxiety, our dog injured her paw there. PetSmart was concerned that her stress might lead to further self-harm, so they asked us to pick her up. Since we couldn’t cancel our trip last minute, we reached out to Amanda for help. She went above and beyond in every way. Amanda came to our home multiple times a day to keep our dog company. Because of the paw injury, extra care was needed, and Amanda handled it all perfectly—she cleaned and applied medication to the wound every day, took our dog on gentle, easy walks, and even gave her a thoughtful bath on the last night. When we returned, we were touched to find a carefully prepared gift along with new toys and supplies for our dog. Amanda truly treats every dog like a member of her own family. I can’t recommend her highly enough—she is absolutely wonderful, and we are so grateful to have found her.
This was our first time using Rover and we could not have been more lucky to find Hailey! Hailey is very responsive, provided clear communication, and many awesome updates, including pictures and videos, while we were out of town. Our dog is 13 with many health issues so we are very hesitant to leave him with anyone other than family, but as soon as we met Hailey there was an immediate sense of comfort and relief knowing he was going to be in great hands in the comfort of his own home. Jo stayed with our nervous, reactive dog Luna for a full week. Jo came over to house multiple times prior to the trip so Luna could get comfortable with her. Jo has a great calm nature about her.
