At our meet-and-greet, she leaned into Kyle right away, which was a great sign since she can sometimes take a little time to warm up to new people. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. About: I have worked in Veterinary medicine for over 14 years. I started out as a kennel attandant and worked by way up to become an uncertified veterinarty technicican. I started pet sitting when I was in high school for my neighbors and have done it part-time ever since. I have experience with all sorts of dog and cat behaviors. I am flexible and can accommodate for most things. I do work 4 10 hr shift right now. I am available in the early AM and late PM. I do have weekends off right now as well. Depending on the location, I can stop in on my lunch breaks if it isn't too far from my work. I will be able to do anything a pet owner asks of me. I think it is good to keep the pet's routine as close to their norm as possible when their owners are away. This helps limits the stress for the pets.

I live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in a ground-floor apartment, which is ideal for dogs since there are no steep stairs or elevator rides to navigate. We also have a securely gated balcony where your pup can safely enjoy some fresh air and watch the world go by. I keep my home dog-proofed, free of hazards, and calm so every guest feels comfortable and secure. While I am the one providing your dog's care, my husband works from home, so there is almost always someone in the home as well. During walks, I always keep dogs securely on a leash, stay aware of our surroundings, and prioritize their safety at all times. I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own.
About: I have grown with both cats and dogs, giving me a deep understanding of their unique needs and personalities. My passion for animals extends beyond my own pets, as I actively volunteer at PAWS, where I help care for and support animals awaiting adoption. I recently left my full time job to spend some time with my family before heading off to grad school this fall. My schedule is very flexible! About: I have had dogs my whole life. Watching family and friends dogs gives me great joy! Dogs have been a part of my whole life. I love them dearly, my sister in law travels quite often which gives me the opportunity to watch her two dogs. One is a puppy full of energy and they are so fun to spend time with and play. Love going on walks to the forest preserves out in nature. let me be your dogs new friend. I work four days a week Tuesday thru Friday until 3:30pm. I'm available for boarding Friday nights thru Monday. I can take dogs for walks on Mondays, Weekends, and Tuesday-Friday after 4. I have a big home plenty of space to run around and play. My backyard is good size and fenced in. I can update you with photos of your dog. I can maintain the feeding schedule as required. I will make sure your dog has plenty outdoor time walks or just playing in my yard.
