“If you are looking for someone to stay in your home and give lots of love and care for your pet, Jillian is just wonderful and I would highly recommend!! What was unique about Jillian is that she stayed in our home the entire time. She followed all of my instructions, provided daily updates and pictures and when she left, she washed the linens and the home was clean and tidy. She may not be able to provide the fast, active walk with your pet, but she is fully capable to walk and play with your pet. I ended up booking another dog walker separately for a more active walk. This arrangement worked perfectly for me and worth the additional cost, as I would rather have my dog be with a loving sitter in my home where my dog was not left alone than having more dog walks. I will definitely be booking Jillian again! She was a joy to work with and I know she made my dog feel safe and loved. Thank you.”

About: Growing up, I had a couple dogs. Along with family and friends always having dogs around, I have always taken care of dogs. I love to walk them, bathe them, and play! I would take care of your fur baby like my own! I have a flexible schedule and work independently so I have plenty of flexibility for you and your baby!❤️ What works for your schedule will most likely work for mine. I look forward to spend time with and take care of your baby and I will enjoy every second! You can trust me with your pet like it’s my own! I am an honest human being with a heart full of love and compassion. I would love to take your fur baby to the park to play and have fun, as well as a jog/walk of course, and I wouldn’t mind giving your baby a bath if need be! Perhaps a trip to the pet store to spoil?! Don’t worry cats will love me too! I know just the spot they love scratched and will offer plenty of playtime.

About: I truly love animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs through rescue work. I’ve helped with feeding cat colonies, TNR efforts, and supporting dog rescues, which has taught me how to be patient and attentive with animals of all personalities. I’m especially good with shy or nervous pets and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I’m used to planning my days around feeding, checking in on animals, and making sure they’re comfortable and cared for. Because of my experience helping with rescues and caring for animals regularly, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks or playtime, litter box or potty breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs to make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to treat every pet like my own and keep their environment calm and familiar. 🐾

About: I am a lifelong dog parent, with over 40 years experience with many different breeds; ranging from Terriers to Labs, Shepherds, Huskys, Bully Breeds, Hounds, Herding dogs, Sporting and Working breeds, Toy groups, and many mixed breeds. I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people. I have a very laid back and easy-going approach that I have had great success with in relating to and connecting with dogs and their pet parents. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard with a cabin like interior that is very welcoming to dogs. I offer both a fun and safe environment for my pet guests, and will treat them like family. I have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dog(s) along if that is something you are comfortable with. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.

“Ke'vin was very flexible with scheduling when we had to find someone quickly to leave town for a family emergency. With little notice, he came to our house for a first meeting and then started the next day for a overnight sitting service for five days. Our senior dog is always afraid of new people but Ke'vin sent videos of her and it's clear she warmed up quickly to him and really liked him. He gave her meds with no issue. I'm glad we found Ke'vin on Rover!”

When my sick dog had an accident, she cleaned up immediately and administered her regular medications exactly as instructed. My fussy, pampered dogs were fed precisely the way I wanted, without compromise. Mel went above and beyond with endless kisses, hugs, and belly rubs, so much so that my dogs were reluctant to leave the true 5-star treatment they received. Our furry babies may not speak, but they always let us know when they’ve been genuinely loved and cared for in our absence. And yes, they definitely “told” me they want to be with Mel again! About: My background is in social work and I am the oldest of four kids. Growing up we always had a golden retriever as a member of our family. This last August our family said goodbye to our sweet angel, Marley. I now have a little family of my own, and my son is eager to have a furry friend around. Him and my husband are super active, love playing in the mud, and want to prepare for our own dog one day.🤞We would love to host and take care of your animals. I have experience as a nanny, a caregiver for disabled and elderly folk, as well as two decades of dog nurturing and sitting. Can also provide care for bunnies. My husband and I are in between jobs. We have a 2.5 year old boy who is enamored with dogs and misses our previous pupper who passed from cancer in ‘24. We are home full time and keep our house smoke-free, hygienic, child-proofed…oh and hearts full of love to share! We can follow whatever guidelines you request as needed. We ask that you provide any resources for that at the beginning of the service please.
