About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have provided care for many different pets growing up, including dogs, cats, and even more unique animals. I have bottle-fed a litter of newborn kittens and cared for them until they were adopted, and I’ve cared for newborn puppies as well as senior dogs up to 18 years old. There has never been a year in my life when I haven’t owned a dog. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly, and I approach every pet with calm, patient energy so they feel safe and comfortable. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was about 5 years old. And that was when I received my first pet, a chihuahua mix. I’ve cared for her since she was a puppy and she just recently passed away due to old age. I have the patience to deal with puppies and elder dogs! I love them all! I have had pets with disabilities, very old, and I have given them medicine orally, and topically and changed the bandages, as well as fed with my palm for very old and blind ones.
