About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have provided care for many different pets growing up, including dogs, cats, and even more unique animals. I have bottle-fed a litter of newborn kittens and cared for them until they were adopted, and I’ve cared for newborn puppies as well as senior dogs up to 18 years old. There has never been a year in my life when I haven’t owned a dog. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly, and I approach every pet with calm, patient energy so they feel safe and comfortable. If chosen, I will make sure your pet gets the appropriate amount of exercise, attention, and affection they need, while always respecting their routine and your instructions. Safety is extremely important to me. I never let pets out of my sight, always keep them leashed outdoors, and am attentive to their surroundings at all times. I’m happy to provide treats and toys if approved. I have two pets of my own and don’t see them as “just pets,” but as part of my family. When I’m caring for your pet, I make sure they feel the same way: loved, secure, and treated like family in a safe and nurturing environment. I structure my schedule to prioritize pet care, with flexible availability throughout the week. I plan my days so pets are never rushed and always receive consistent attention, exercise, and supervision. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, keep pets leashed outdoors, maintain clean environments, and respect clients’ homes as if they were my own. Clear communication and updates are always provided.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs almost my whole life! My personal pet care background is incredibly diverse. I currently manage a lively three-cat household with my sweet cuddle bug Lillie, and my sister’s rambunctious and silly littermate brothers, Scout and Sawyer. I am also the proud owner of a childhood calico named Luna, and a Shepherd/golden mix, Osa. Because Osa is a high-energy, reactive dog, I learned a lot from her and personally worked on training her. About: I am a lifelong dog parent, with over 4 decades of experience with many different breeds; ranging from Terriers to Labs, Shepherds, Huskys, Bully Breeds, Hounds, Herding dogs, Sporting and Working breeds, Toy groups, and many mixed breeds. I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people, which has been an invaluable learning experience for me. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. My home is on a 1/2 acre fenced in wooded lot with a cabin like interior and country atmosphere that is both welcoming , safe, and fun for my dog guests, and I make it a top priority to treat your dogs like family. I also have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dogs along if that is something you are comfortable with. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.

About: I have been a Petco certified dog trainer since I was 18 and have dog/house sat many times since! I treat your dog like family and your home with respect! I am flexible! I am available Mondays and Thursdays all day. Saturdays I get off work at 2:00pm I work 9-5 during the rest of the days of the week. But I always need an excuse to use PTO so watching your fur baby won’t be problem! I just need a two week notice Quality time will be spent with your fur baby to make sure they keep busy. Plenty of playtime and mental stimulation. I love using puzzle toys, snuffles and other things to get a dogs mind working!

I would require a meet and greet (these are free!) before your set dates to make sure they get along; my pup has never met a dog that he doesn't like! I am huge on safety and comfort for every pet that I work with. To ensure the safety of both your pets and myself, I consistently monitor body language and behavior to assess how your pet is feeling!
