About: I've lived with cats for most of my life, and I have experience sitting for both senior dogs and puppies! I'm comfortable around dogs of any size and can handle most medications and messes, provided some instruction. In case it's relevant, I also have some limited experience with a variety of other animals, ranging from birds and mice to horses and rabbits! I'm currently waiting for the growing season to start up again (I'm an environmental technician), so I have plenty of free time during the week to spend helping out with pet care. I have a rather skittish kitty of my own, so I can't board any animals, but I'm happy to come visit others. So long as the information is provided, I'm happy to help feed, play with, clean up after, and help give medications to your furry family members as needed.

About: I am a lifelong dog parent, with over 40 years experience with many different breeds; ranging from Terriers to Labs, Shepherds, Huskys, Bully Breeds, Hounds, Herding dogs, Sporting and Working breeds, Toy groups, and many mixed breeds. I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people. I have a very laid back and easy-going approach that I have had great success with in relating to and connecting with dogs and their pet parents. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard with a cabin like interior that is very welcoming to dogs. I offer both a fun and safe environment for my pet guests, and will treat them like family. I have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dog(s) along if that is something you are comfortable with. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.

About: I have a lot of experience working with a reactive and anxious rescue pit-bull mix…my sweet baby girl, Abby!! It’s been a process but she’s made huge strides! So I’m quite familiar with having to be extremely vigilant on walks, training treats on hand, knowing when to cross the street to avoid triggers…etc. I fostered an adorable blue nose pitbull puppy! I house trained him and worked with him for a year. That was one of the hardest things I ever had to do…let that handsome boy go to his forever home! I also had a dog when I was growing up. The only way we were going to get her was if I was willing to take most of the care of her and I happily obliged! I was also the pet sitter in the neighborhood. I love all dogs! I’m currently not working so I have quite an open schedule! I’ve been a teacher for 21 years and I’m taking a break to do what I love…spending time with my girl, Abby, volunteering at Save-A-Pet, and helping people out by walking their dogs! I’m not able to have pets in my home because Abby doesn’t get along well with other dogs. I’m happy to do whatever a client wants me to do with their pet! I live a very active lifestyle, so if your pet needs to go for a few miles run not a problem! Also happy to just give scratches and make your pet feel comfortable while you’re away!

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have never had a moment in my life where I was not around pets in some capacity. I spent time with my own dogs and cats as well as working at my sister’s grooming salon as a bather and pet sitter. I was also my friends and neighbors contact when they needed someone to care for their pets. I have been an active volunteer with a local pitbull rescue for many years and spend my free time with the rescue dogs and doing adoption events. I also started volunteering at the local animal rescue by my house as and spend time taking dogs out and helping with fundraising events.
