About: I am a lifelong dog parent, with over 4 decades of experience with many different breeds; ranging from Terriers to Labs, Shepherds, Huskys, Bully Breeds, Hounds, Herding dogs, Sporting and Working breeds, Toy groups, and many mixed breeds. I am home nearly around the clock, and committed full time to giving great care and attention to my highly -valued dog guests. I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people, which has been an invaluable learning experience for me. I have a very laid back and easy-going approach and style that I have had great success with in relating to and connecting with dogs and their pet parents. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. My home is on a 1/2 acre fenced in wooded lot with a cabin like interior and country atmosphere that is both welcoming , safe, and fun for my dog guests, and I make it a top priority to treat your dogs like family. I also have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dogs along if that is something you are comfortable with. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.

My goal is to provide dependable, consistent care and make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved every visit. I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs, while making sure your pet receives plenty of attention and affection. During walks and visits, safety is always my top priority. I use secure leashing practices, pay close attention to each dog's comfort and behavior, and never rush their time outside. I clean up after pets, keep fresh water available, and make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own. You'll receive regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I have been pet sitting cats and dogs for over 10 years. As my family as always been animal lovers, taking care of furry friends comes naturally to me. I love getting to help others while spending time with and caring for their pets. About: I grew up with a sweet smooth collie and helped take care of her throughout my childhood. These days I take care of friends and families dogs while they go on vacation or just need a quick sitter for the day/night. I also have a pet chinchilla, Cheaches, that I take care of everyday :) I'm a elementary teacher, so my availability during the summer is very open. I plan to be home full time most days but things do come up. If I need to be away I will always prioritize coming back to care for the pets. I'm very comfortable with all dogs no matter the size or breed. I have handled a variety of dogs from timid to major explorers. Any instructions given to me I will happily follow. About: I have been working in the pet industy for 10 years and I am pet CPR certified. I have taken care care of pups of all ages, all different kinds of animals, and have had many pets of my own. I currently work at a restaurant so may be gone here and there. My pups are home for you friend to have some company while I'm gone! I do not have a fenced in yard, but can leash walk anywhere. Pets can free roam inside my house, otherwise I can care for pets in their own space.

About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work all day Tuesday and Thursday and the occasional Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on when I am scheduled (only 4 hours shifts on those days) so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch an animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.

About: I have grown up and worked with dogs all my life and I currently have two golden retrievers which are both 7 year-old. They're very energetic and playful. i have trained my dogs in the past to become very obedient and calm when on walks or outside. About: Hello, We are a 36 year old, married couple and owner to Two amazing doggie-daughters: Bailey and Presley Rose. We love many breeds of pups but our favorite breed at the moment would be the black labs and Shiba Inu- mostly because two are a part of our family. But we love all types of dogs neither small or big!!!!! Kathy has worked as a Nanny/ Babysitter for the past 18 years with families that have pets and would care and take care of them on a daily basis. Ed a diesel mechanic by trade. Is off of work due to a work related injury. He is home 24/7 and is able to take care of the pups while Kathy is a professional nanny in the afternoons. Someone is always home to care for your pups needs. As for our home we have one Shiba inu/ mixes and one pure breed black lab .Our oldest doggie daughter Bailey( Shiba/ Husky) we got from a rescue- She was taken from a hoarders home and has been through a lot in the past couple years. We first got her and her front leg was broken and we healed her back to health. She was fully adopted 8 years ago and she couldn't be the most sweetest dog ever!!!! We are glad to have her energy in the house!!!! In November of 2016 we were blessed with winning a PUPPY!!! We now have our newest addition to the family Presley Rose ( pure breed Black lab ) pup. she is our calm old lady young pup. She is a great addition since Ed has grown up with Lab's his entire life. We have a fully fenced in yard and since someone is always home they are always being cared for. Our goal is to treat your pup like they are at home when they are away from home. Ed is always home 24/7. Kathy is a Professional Nanny and works from 2-6pm during the evening hours. We love to have dogs in our home at all times of day/ nights. We like to treat your pet like they are at their own home. Whatever your pups feels comfortable doing at home we will make sure that your pup feels right at home. If it be sleeping our our bed to cuddling on the couch we have your pet covered.
