About: My background is in social work and I am the oldest of four kids. Growing up we always had a golden retriever as a member of our family. This last August our family said goodbye to our sweet angel, Marley. I now have a little family of my own, and my son is eager to have a furry friend around. I have a separate room that any animal is more than welcome to stay in incase they prefer being alone vs getting along with other animals. Dogs i can take anytime and Cats are more then welcome to stay for days as there is a separate room if needed, a spare litter box and plenty of extra cat food bowls! About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have never had a moment in my life where I was not around pets in some capacity. I spent time with my own dogs and cats as well as working at my sister’s grooming salon as a bather and pet sitter. I was also my friends and neighbors contact when they needed someone to care for their pets. I have been an active volunteer with a local pitbull rescue for many years and spend my free time with the rescue dogs and doing adoption events. I'm retired from the U.S. Navy, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I build my day around their needs, whether that's morning walks, midday potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or evening visits. I enjoy being outdoors and staying active, so regular walks are something I genuinely look forward to. I also understand the importance of keeping pets on their normal routine to help them feel comfortable while you're away. My goal is to provide dependable, consistent care and make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved every visit. I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs, while making sure your pet receives plenty of attention and affection. During walks and visits, safety is always my top priority. I use secure leashing practices, pay close attention to each dog's comfort and behavior, and never rush their time outside. I clean up after pets, keep fresh water available, and make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own. You'll receive regular updates and photos, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: As a middle schooler, I worked on a farm property as a pet groomer. I have experience with both dogs and cats, and a specialization with dogs that are disabled and have behavioral issues. I enjoy being active, going on walks, and making sure your fur baby gets the love they deserve! I am currently working part time at an eye-care office! I have a lot of free time, and would love to spend it with your fur baby! I am flexible and happy to accommodate to whatever you and your pet’s needs may be. “Melody was so awesome! Very responsive and sent tons of pictures and videos of our pup while we were gone. We did a meet up with her prior to our trip so she could meet our dog and get acquainted/ask questions etc. During his stay, they went on lots of walks and had so much play time. Melody goes out of her way to make your pup her number one priority. She had extra toys and even got him treats! She even gave some advice for some of his skin/stomach issues she noticed. Will definitely be bringing our pup back to her!”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs from a variety of backgrounds, and I’m excited to bring that experience to Rover. I provide loving, personalized in-home daycare and boarding in Spring Grove, IL. I only care for one family’s dog(s) at a time, so your pup gets my full attention, plenty of love, and a comfortable home environment. I have a large fenced in backyard. I currently own a 4 month old golden retriever and a 15 year old beagle mix. I can provide care to puppies and medically complicated dogs as well. ❤️ I currently own a 4-month-old female Golden Retriever and a 15-year-old Beagle mix. I also have 3 children and work from home, so I am home throughout the day and able to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I have a large, fully fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. I also have a large indoor pen available if needed, along with plenty of toys and chews.
