“Angela (and her husband Dave) took such good care of Zoe! This was our first time leaving Zoe with someone else and they really made it easy for us. She sent us pictures often and sent me updates on Zoe. She really made me feel at ease! We’ve already booked another stay over the holidays.”

“Megan took wonderful care of my 8‑month‑old golden retriever during his very first 5‑day boarding stay. She kept me updated every day with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He was clearly happy, safe, and well cared for. “Stella and her family hosted my Nora (border collie/husky) for 27 days, and I could not be happier. Nora was clearly very happy and integrated well with the family. I received frequent text updates, and never had to worry about my dog's well-being. Stella's fenced back yard is a huge asset. There were a few bumps early on a Nora acclimated to their home, but Stella and her family were very patient with her. I appreciate that so much!”
“Thanks to Rusty, I was at ease traveling for a few days with the dogs in his care. Rusty has a dog-friendly space indoors and out and was attentive to the dogs’ individual personality traits and needs. This was the first time I’ve left them with a sitter and both dogs responded well and appeared comfortable. It’s a huge relief to know that Rusty is available to care for my dogs if I need to be away.”

“Alicia was the best! I knew from our meet and greet that she was going to be great with Tig and of course she was. I had no worries while we were out of town as she sent updates and photos of our Tig often. I can tell he is going to miss his new hangout and all their love & cuddles. I will absolutely book again if I need to in the future.”

About: Ive taken care of family members dogs before. I’ve also had experience with puppies and adult dogs! I have 1 dog of my own and it would be fun to be able to take care of other dogs as well :) I work part time and most of my afternoons I’m free! I always love going on walks in the afternoons anyways so having someone to walk with would be awesome! I have a fenced yard and a crate inside if needed. I do have kids but they’re all very gentle with our animals here at home.
“Chisato did a fantastic job taking care of our dog! She kept us updated frequently, and we felt comfortable knowing that Chisato was providing great care for our dog.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hainesville
I highly recommend Rusty. Benny stayed with him while I was away, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care he provided. He sent me pictures and updates every day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I was especially nervous because Benny has a history of resource guarding, but he handled him very well and everything went smoothly. Benny was well cared for, safe, and happy during his stay. I would def trust him to watch Benny again.

Our experience was wonderful. Our dog had the best time staying with Jordan, getting lots of love, interactions, and playtime. Jordan made it really easy for us to have a relaxing vacation, knowing that our dog was taken care of. Our pup (and family) is so glad to have found a new friend!

Elisa is truly caring nature, and I felt totally at ease leaving my baby with her. She treats your dog like it’s part of her own family, and on top of that, her home is spotless! She also kept me posted with texts and photos though out each day. I will continue working with Elisa and happy I found her and Fiona (her dog). ✨✨✨

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
