I’m an animal lover and have been privileged to own and care for fresh & saltwater fish, frogs, turtles, salamanders, hamsters, rabbits, parakeets, blue front Amazon parrot, cats & dogs. I’m able to care for animals that need shots or need to be hand fed. I raised my parrot as a baby and had to prepare special food and feed with a syringe as well as take care of a dog with diabetes. My pets are always the stars of our home. We are currently a pet free home since the recent passing of our beloved Brittany Spaniel Bailey. We are undecided on the next pet we will adopt, but I’m deeply missing the love and affection pets offer. For now we are looking to spoil your pets. Safety is always the most important thing I consider when watching all animals. I hope I can be fortunate enough to care for your pet.

My husband and I have had 3 trips the first half of this year and we are so happy to have found Christine to take care of our big furbaby Leo. He is 150lb great Pyrenees and enjoys all the attention. Christine has been very accommodating, and I really love the fact that she treats our Leo as part of her family and gives him so much attention. Throughout the 3 stays this year, Christine has been so great with sending daily updates with pictures and keeping in touch. Every picture shows just how relaxed Leo is and how much he is enjoying himself with Christine and her family. He even gets excited when we drop him off. Leo got to be in the comfort of a home with an enclosed yard to roam around in instead of being cooped up in one room at a boarding facility. We are so lucky to have found Christine and we would recommend her to anyone. We will definitely be leaving Leo with Christine for any future trips.
This was Ted’s 4th visit with Christine and he pulls to go in and visit every time. Ted gets treated like family and gets lots of playtime in the backyard and walks. I really appreciate all of the updates, photos and videos to let me know how everything is going. Christine’s is a great home away from home for us for Ted! Thank you!

Schedule
I’m currently working from home and will be home all day M-F to walk and care for pets in my home. On the weekends I would never be away from a pet in my care for more than a few hours.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard, but I provide 3 walks per day for exercise. I try to establish a routine or stick to the pet owners routine in order to keep pets on schedule.
A typical day
A typical day involves breakfast, walk, rest, lunch, walk, rest, play with toy in the house or yard (weather permitting), dinner, long walk, sleep. On the weekends we love taking our pets to dog parks, pet friendly beaches or to a forest preserves, providing the pet can handle it.
