Small Dog Lover; WFH Full Time!
I am an absolute dog lover! I fell in love with little dogs after my 1st who was an 8-pound Yorkie/Daschund mix and now have my 5-pound Yorkie/Teddy Bear mix Fiona. I am very comfortable with the quirks/unique personalities of little dogs and know the special care they require. I am happy to give any senior dogs the loving, patient attention they need and will keep your dog comfy and safe while you are away!

Elisa is truly caring nature, and I felt totally at ease leaving my baby with her. She treats your dog like it’s part of her own family, and on top of that, her home is spotless! Elisa is charming and knows about caring for older and smaller dogs. She immediately understood what my very old mini dachshund needs, and was patient and gentle. Elisa is equally great with people - very likable and trustworthy.
We are so thankful for Elisa. This is our third booking with her. She gave us so much peace of mind leaving our dog with her for a whole week. We appreciate the updates on our dog’s eating, sleeping, and snuggle time with Elisa. She went out of her way to help our dog feel at home.

Schedule
I am a social worker who works from home 100% of the time! I work M-F 8am to 5pm, but can take breaks frequently. I am happy to accommodate your dog's schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
It's just Fiona and I in a townhome right now with a small unfenced yard, but lots of walking paths in the neighborhood. I will follow your care routine, but also love to take walks at pet-friendly stores, the dog park, or forest preserves. No smoking, lots of toys, and all dogs are welcome on my furniture. Morning cuddles in bed are the best! Rest assured that your pup will be adored while you are away, and kept safe, happy, and loved!
Pets
A typical day
I work from home full time so pets get my attention all day! We do about 5 to 6 bathroom breaks per day (around 7am, 10am, lunch, 3pm, dinner, 9pm). In nice weather, Fiona and I go on daily long walks with leash and harness on at all times. In bad weather, we go to dog-friendly stores to get some exercise and people-interaction (Thank you Home Goods, Home Depot, and PetsMart!).
