“Alicia was the best! I knew from our meet and greet that she was going to be great with Tig and of course she was. I had no worries while we were out of town as she sent updates and photos of our Tig often. I can tell he is going to miss his new hangout and all their love & cuddles. I will absolutely book again if I need to in the future.”

“Jacob is amazing! He puts the dogs and the owner at ease! He was so great with our Sophie and sent pictures each day!:). We can not say enough good things about him!!:)”

“Megan took wonderful care of my 8‑month‑old golden retriever during his very first 5‑day boarding stay. She kept me updated every day with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He was clearly happy, safe, and well cared for. I’m very happy with her service and will definitely recommend her and book with her again.”

“Thanks to Rusty, I was at ease traveling for a few days with the dogs in his care. Rusty has a dog-friendly space indoors and out and was attentive to the dogs’ individual personality traits and needs. This was the first time I’ve left them with a sitter and both dogs responded well and appeared comfortable. It’s a huge relief to know that Rusty is available to care for my dogs if I need to be away.”

“Debbie & Tom are wonderful! They love Cooper like he is their own and are great about sending us pictures of him each day. They took such good care of our dog that we didn’t have to worry at all. We will definitely have Cooper stay with them again. 🐾”

“I just picked my dog up at Norma’s and I couldn’t be any happier!! Norma sent me several pictures and videos during the week and I could tell my dog was so happy and well cared for. I was relaxed during my week away knowing my dog was in good hands! Thank you again! ????”

“My pet had spent the fantastic days in her house because I felt he didn’t want to go back home with me. I appreciated about what I could get good travel due to her care.”

“Kelsey was absolutely amazing! I was in a tough spot — I was getting married and the friend who was supposed to watch my dog, Inc, canceled last minute. I had no one lined up and was pretty stressed. I did a meet-and-greet with Kelsey and her husband, and right away I felt completely comfortable. They were both so kind and welcoming, and their home was perfect for Inc. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kelsey went above and beyond, and I had total peace of mind on such an important day. If I could give her more than five stars, I absolutely would! I will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Danielle was very communicative and took care of our dogs like they were her own. Highly recommend. Our dogs got all the love and a daily walk which they definitely enjoyed.”

“Zeni loves being with Tommy and Julie. They’re very sweet and dedicated to my pup and are always available for my short notice visits. They bathed him before I picked him up after being with them for almost a week! Big shout out to them!!!”

“Byron and his family were excellent hosts and did a wonderful job keeping Gilbert happy. From the minute I dropped Gilbert off, I knew he would be in good hands. I was kept updated throughout the week with pics and texts, and he answered any questions I had promptly and with assurance. I will definitely have Gilbert board with Byron the next time I need to, and would recommend him as a top sitter.”

About: I have been a dog owner for 20 years, I currently have a Belgian Tervuren puppy who would love the company. I have 1/2 acre fenced in yard. I am home during the day and evening. Dogs can play outside or come inside if they would like. I would be happy to board your dog and make sure they are comfortable coming here. I work at home so pets would be not a problem as I can tend to them al all times. During the evening I can play with them and interact with the dogs so they feel comfortable. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard as well as security cameras so that I can monitor the yard at all times. The dogs love running around in my yard.
“Melody was nothing but wonderful with our sweet but highly anxious dog. She does a meet & greet prior to the date of drop off to get your dog comfortable and more familiar with her home - this made us feel very reassured she would be in good hands. Melody gave us daily updates with the best pictures and videos of our pup…who could not have looked happier!! Would recommend her & will be using her again in the future!”

“Anna was fantastic with our labradoodle Ollie! She is attentive and kind. Ollie seemed so relaxed and happy to spend the weekend. We will book her again very soon!”

About: Hi! My name is Elaina, and I am passionate about providing safe, loving, and individualized care for every pet who stays with us. I currently work from home while my husband and I prepare to welcome our first baby this fall. This allows me to offer flexible scheduling, close supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My husband, Joseph, is also home two out of every three days, so there is often an extra set of hands available when needed. - * Experience I have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities through both personal experience and caring for pets belonging to family and friends. We currently have two friendly dogs of our own: a 55 lb Australian Mountain Doodle and a 75 lb Lab/Great Dane mix who both enjoy meeting new friends. I also have experience with puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs, and multi-dog households. Friends and family frequently trust me to care for their pets, and our fenced yard is often used for supervised puppy playdates and socialization. Before working from home, I worked as a pediatric occupational therapy provider supporting children with autism and developmental delays. I also have experience in animal-assisted therapy and have received formal education on dog behavior and its application in therapy settings. These experiences helped me develop a calm, patient, and attentive approach to caring for both people and animals. - * Our Home Our home is a spacious two-story house with a fully fenced yard, nearby walking paths and parks, and plenty of space for dogs to relax, play, and feel comfortable. Dogs are welcome to be part of our daily routine and are treated like family during their stay. We also have gates available if separation is ever needed for safety, rest, or comfort. - * Personalized Care We accept only one family of pets at a time, allowing us to provide individualized attention throughout your pet’s entire stay. This approach helps us tailor care to each dog’s unique routine, personality, and comfort level. We are happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, sleeping arrangements, and any other instructions that help your pet feel safe and at home. - * Communication One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is building relationships not only with the animals but with their owners as well. I love sending photo and video updates throughout your pet’s stay so you can feel reassured, connected, and confident that your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Communication is extremely important to me, and I pride myself on quick responses and consistent updates. - * Services Offered We currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, dog walking, puppy care, and senior dog care. At this time, we are not offering overnight house sitting in clients’ homes. - * Safety First For the safety and comfort of all pets in our care, we are unable to accept aggressive dogs or dogs that are not comfortable around other dogs. We would love to meet you and your fur family! I currently work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, close supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My husband is also home two out of every three days, so there is often an additional set of hands available when needed. Because I work from home, dogs are rarely left unattended for extended periods and typically receive supervision for most of the day. - * Daily Care Dogs in our care receive frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, companionship, and plenty of supervised interaction throughout the day. We are also happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and other special care instructions. - * Personalized Routine We understand that every dog has unique needs and preferences. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a laid-back adult, or a senior who enjoys a quieter routine, we do our best to maintain consistency so they feel comfortable, safe, and at home. - * Services Offered We currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, dog walking, puppy care, and senior dog care. At this time, we are not offering overnight house sitting in clients’ homes. - * Communication We believe great pet care includes great communication. We pride ourselves on quick responses and provide frequent photo and video updates so you can stay connected and feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable and confident when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while they are staying with us. - * Our Home Our home is a spacious two-story house with a fully fenced yard, nearby walking paths and parks, and plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel comfortable. Dogs who stay with us are welcomed into our daily routine and treated like family. We also have gates available if separation is ever needed for safety, rest, or comfort. - * Safe & Personalized Care We currently have two friendly resident dogs who are social and accustomed to being around other animals. To provide the highest level of care and attention, we accept only one family of pets at a time. This allows us to tailor each stay to your dog’s unique routine, personality, and comfort level while ensuring they receive plenty of individual attention throughout their visit. - * Experience With Special Needs We have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs, and multi-pet households. We are happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, sleeping arrangements, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. - * Communication & Updates One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is building relationships not only with the animals but with their owners as well. I love sending photo and video updates throughout your pet’s stay so you can feel reassured, connected, and confident that your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away. - * Safety Requirements For the safety and comfort of all pets in our care, we are unable to accept aggressive dogs or dogs that are not comfortable around other dogs. We want every dog in our home to have a safe, positive, and stress-free experience.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Round Lake Heights
I highly recommend Rusty. Benny stayed with him while I was away, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care he provided. He sent me pictures and updates every day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I was especially nervous because Benny has a history of resource guarding, but he handled him very well and everything went smoothly. Benny was well cared for, safe, and happy during his stay. I would def trust him to watch Benny again.

I cannot recommend Annie enough! This was my first time leaving my dog Zeus with her, and I was completely at ease the entire time. She and her husband are incredibly kind people who clearly have a passion for dogs. I received frequent messages and photo updates, which I appreciated so much. Best of all, my dog got along with theirs—it was like a little vacation for him, too! I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your dog like their own, look no further. Annie is fantastic.
