About: Ive taken care of family members dogs before. I’ve also had experience with puppies and adult dogs! I have 1 dog of my own and it would be fun to be able to take care of other dogs as well :) I work part time and most of my afternoons I’m free! I always love going on walks in the afternoons anyways so having someone to walk with would be awesome! I have a fenced yard and a crate inside if needed. I do have kids but they’re all very gentle with our animals here at home.
“Our dogs had a great time and Chisato treated them like her own. We got tons of pictures and videos of them enjoying their walks and pets while we were on vacation. Will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have been a dog owner for 20 years, I currently have a Belgian Tervuren puppy who would love the company. I have 1/2 acre fenced in yard. I am home during the day and evening. Dogs can play outside or come inside if they would like. I would be happy to board your dog and make sure they are comfortable coming here. I work at home so pets would be not a problem as I can tend to them al all times. During the evening I can play with them and interact with the dogs so they feel comfortable. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard as well as security cameras so that I can monitor the yard at all times. The dogs love running around in my yard.
“JoAnne is the best! She provided updates and pictures throughout the stay. Ralph had a blast with the whole family and was spoiled with Hunny play time and snuggles. We will continue to come back to JoAnne as long as she provides the service. Thank you!”

About: Hi! My name is Elaina, and I am passionate about providing safe, loving, and individualized care for every pet who stays with us. I currently work from home while my husband and I prepare to welcome our first baby this fall. This allows me to offer flexible scheduling, close supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My husband, Joseph, is also home two out of every three days, so there is often an extra set of hands available when needed. - * Experience I have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities through both personal experience and caring for pets belonging to family and friends. We currently have two friendly dogs of our own: a 55 lb Australian Mountain Doodle and a 75 lb Lab/Great Dane mix who both enjoy meeting new friends. I also have experience with puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs, and multi-dog households. Friends and family frequently trust me to care for their pets, and our fenced yard is often used for supervised puppy playdates and socialization. Before working from home, I worked as a pediatric occupational therapy provider supporting children with autism and developmental delays. I also have experience in animal-assisted therapy and have received formal education on dog behavior and its application in therapy settings. These experiences helped me develop a calm, patient, and attentive approach to caring for both people and animals. - * Our Home Our home is a spacious two-story house with a fully fenced yard, nearby walking paths and parks, and plenty of space for dogs to relax, play, and feel comfortable. Dogs are welcome to be part of our daily routine and are treated like family during their stay. We also have gates available if separation is ever needed for safety, rest, or comfort. - * Personalized Care We accept only one family of pets at a time, allowing us to provide individualized attention throughout your pet’s entire stay. This approach helps us tailor care to each dog’s unique routine, personality, and comfort level. We are happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, sleeping arrangements, and any other instructions that help your pet feel safe and at home. - * Communication One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is building relationships not only with the animals but with their owners as well. I love sending photo and video updates throughout your pet’s stay so you can feel reassured, connected, and confident that your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Communication is extremely important to me, and I pride myself on quick responses and consistent updates. - * Services Offered We currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, dog walking, puppy care, and senior dog care. At this time, we are not offering overnight house sitting in clients’ homes. - * Safety First For the safety and comfort of all pets in our care, we are unable to accept aggressive dogs or dogs that are not comfortable around other dogs. We would love to meet you and your fur family! I currently work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, close supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. My husband is also home two out of every three days, so there is often an additional set of hands available when needed. Because I work from home, dogs are rarely left unattended for extended periods and typically receive supervision for most of the day. - * Daily Care Dogs in our care receive frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, companionship, and plenty of supervised interaction throughout the day. We are also happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and other special care instructions. - * Personalized Routine We understand that every dog has unique needs and preferences. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a laid-back adult, or a senior who enjoys a quieter routine, we do our best to maintain consistency so they feel comfortable, safe, and at home. - * Services Offered We currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, dog walking, puppy care, and senior dog care. At this time, we are not offering overnight house sitting in clients’ homes. - * Communication We believe great pet care includes great communication. We pride ourselves on quick responses and provide frequent photo and video updates so you can stay connected and feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable and confident when leaving your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while they are staying with us. - * Our Home Our home is a spacious two-story house with a fully fenced yard, nearby walking paths and parks, and plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel comfortable. Dogs who stay with us are welcomed into our daily routine and treated like family. We also have gates available if separation is ever needed for safety, rest, or comfort. - * Safe & Personalized Care We currently have two friendly resident dogs who are social and accustomed to being around other animals. To provide the highest level of care and attention, we accept only one family of pets at a time. This allows us to tailor each stay to your dog’s unique routine, personality, and comfort level while ensuring they receive plenty of individual attention throughout their visit. - * Experience With Special Needs We have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, anxious dogs, and multi-pet households. We are happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, sleeping arrangements, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. - * Communication & Updates One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is building relationships not only with the animals but with their owners as well. We want every dog in our home to have a safe, positive, and stress-free experience.
“Dickson was absolutely wonderful with Charlie! He sent frequent videos and photo updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Charlie is 12 years old and diabetic, she stayed on her eating schedule and received her insulin shots on time — Dickson handled everything perfectly and with such care. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was safe, happy, and enjoying time playing in his fenced backyard. You can truly tell he loves animals and treats them like family. This was such a great experience, and I will absolutely have Charlie stay with him any time. Highly recommend Dickson to any friends or family looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!!”

“So thankful for Elisa! Second time booking with her because our dog loved her so much! It was a great time for our dog to socialize with her dog as well. We appreciated the photo updates.”

About: My husband I both grew up with golden retrievers and have a soft spot for them. When I was first out on my own and bought my first home, I rescued a pit bull and she was with me until she passed. My husband, sons and I are all dog lovers and would love to welcome your dog into our home. My husband is home full time and I work from home and we are anxious to care for your pet! We have 2 sons - ages 6 and 10, so kid-friendly dogs are a must. We are available any day of the week at any time, unless we have something specific planned (which is not often). Please feel free to ask about specific dates and times and I will be sure to add you to my calendar! My husband is home full time and I work from home so we have ample amounts of time to care for your pet. My 2 sons LOVE dogs and love to play and take dogs on walks. Our yard is unfenced, per our HOA rules so your pet will always be on a leash for potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood. Pets are free to explore the entire home and will not be crated or gated, unless a crate is provided and requested.
“anays and francis were so great with our little nervous girl! love that they requested a meet and greet before watching her for 4-5 days. they asked a lot of questions beforehand and provided us with updates throughout her stay. they’re both knowledgeable and easy going which was great for our dog who can be a bit nervous in new places and with new people. they’re great about only having one dog at a time if that’s what your dog needs, definitely will have our pup stay with them again!”

“Kathy was so good staying in touch with how our dogs, Louie and Oliver were doing. Plenty of pictures too. Great communication. We will definitely ask Kathy to take care of our pups in the future!”

“Swagata did a great job looking after my cat! She is very accommodating, this was kind of a last minute booking request but she was generous enough to take Jojo in. My cat Jojo is very shy around strangers, but Swagata was able to become friends with him so easily! My cat had such a pleasant stay with her. I will definitely recommend her!!”

“Carla was amazing. She sent so many photos and videos of the dogs having the best time. I started calling it Dog Camp because it looked like I dropped my doodle and golden at the best overnight camp ever. We will definitely use Carla again. She communicated well and clearly loved on my dogs like they were her own.”

“Elizabeth's place is doggie heaven. Two sweet gentle playmates and a 1 acre fenced backyard! My golden retriever was in heaven. Elizabeth knows dogs and loves them as much as I do ❤️ I felt confident in her abilities to care for my baby and trusted her completely. Highest recommendation. ”

“Ryan took Duke in like he was one of his own dogs. Ryan was concerned with his eating habits and if he had any other issues that he needed to be aware of . We are very grateful and will, of course , use him again in the future. BIG thank you!!”

“Carissa was very sweet with my dogs, Charlie and Murphy. She sent pictures of my dogs being spoiled every day. I didn’t have any worries leaving them in her care. Hope to be a repeat customer!”

“Deidre is excellent as a dog sitter and overnight dog watcher. She takes a very personal approach both with the pet owner and the pet itself and has a great dog river that played with my Frankie all the time. I strongly recommend Deidre for any of the need you might have for your pet”

Round Lake Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
I highly recommend Rusty. Benny stayed with him while I was away, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care he provided. He sent me pictures and updates every day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I was especially nervous because Benny has a history of resource guarding, but he handled him very well and everything went smoothly. Benny was well cared for, safe, and happy during his stay. I would def trust him to watch Benny again.

I cannot recommend Annie enough! This was my first time leaving my dog Zeus with her, and I was completely at ease the entire time. She and her husband are incredibly kind people who clearly have a passion for dogs. I received frequent messages and photo updates, which I appreciated so much. Best of all, my dog got along with theirs—it was like a little vacation for him, too! I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your dog like their own, look no further. Annie is fantastic.
