“Rebecca was great! I felt very at ease and confident that my dog was in good hands while I was away. The pictures at each drop in visit were awesome. I would definitely rebook with Rebecca!”

About: I've lived with cats for most of my life, and I have experience sitting for both senior dogs and puppies! I'm comfortable around dogs of any size and can handle most medications and messes, provided some instruction. In case it's relevant, I also have some limited experience with a variety of other animals, ranging from birds and mice to horses and rabbits! I'm currently waiting for the growing season to start up again (I'm an environmental technician), so I have plenty of free time during the week to spend helping out with pet care. I have a rather skittish kitty of my own, so I can't board any animals, but I'm happy to come visit others. So long as the information is provided, I'm happy to help feed, play with, clean up after, and help give medications to your furry family members as needed.

“Sam did an excellent job of taking care of Mya and Harley, even though they probably hid from her the entire time, LOL. We were very confident that she would handle their care and came home to healthy cats. We will use Sam again in August when we leave for a longer trip.”

“Great care and detailed updates! We definitely recommend Brittany. She gets to know our kitties and their individual personalities and provides detailed updates on how they are doing. Our kitties love her too!”

“Our babies love Gage! Especially Finnegan. Gage took wonderful care of them while we were gone. He was attentive and friendly, making them comfortable around him. He was very respectful of our home. Sent plenty of pics for momma! We highly recommend him and will be using him again.”

“This was my first time leaving my dog home while going on vacation. I was nervous because he's 16 years old and I've never used a dog sitter before. But Guadalupe was great. She was very sweet with my dog, Motley, during the meet & greet. I could tell he was comfortable with her. She walked me through how to use the Rover app and was very accommodating, pleasant, and flexible with the holiday. She communicated well and I appreciated the text and photo updates. The house was exactly as I left it when I got back and I could tell my little guy was well cared for. Thank you, Guadalupe!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have cared for them through every stage, from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I currently care for two dogs of my own, so I'm very familiar with daily routines including feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and needs, and I enjoy getting to know each one. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I'm available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and many weekends. I'll do my best to accommodate your pet's routine and can provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I carefully follow all feeding, walking, medication (if needed), and exercise instructions, and I make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also keep the home clean and respect it as if it were my own. I'll provide regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their familiar environment.
“I've used Barbara several times now and she's great. Flexible, fast to respond to messages and understanding overall. She is so so good when interacting with my dog. I've seen her in action. I would highly recommend!”

About: I've had dogs all my life. Jack Russel Beagle, German Shepherd & Beagles. I understand shy and more active, hyper dogs. Happy to help out as I have often needed help along the way. I'm currently working full time, but have time after work and weekends. I'm open to different scenarios or last minute requests as needed within this area. I do have a fenced yard, but not currently accepting pets at my home, unless for small dog if needed for a short time. I would respectful of your home also.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs almost my whole life! My personal pet care background is incredibly diverse. I currently manage a lively three-cat household with my sweet cuddle bug Lillie, and my sister’s rambunctious and silly littermate brothers, Scout and Sawyer. I am also the proud owner of a childhood calico named Luna, and a Shepherd/golden mix, Osa. Because Osa is a high-energy, reactive dog, I learned a lot from her and personally worked on training her. Additionally, I have experience with senior pets. I lovingly cared for my late childhood dog, Sisi, which included managing her daily medications. I have also administered short-term medications to cats. I specialize exclusively in house sitting at your home, drop-in visits, and neighborhood dog walks. I look forward to giving your pets the absolute best care! :) My schedule is very flexible this summer, which makes it easy to stick to whatever daily routine your pets are used to. Whether they need a mid-day drop-in visit, a walk, or someone to stay overnight to keep them company, I can easily accommodate their regular timing. Since I will be caring for your pets in your home, my main priority is keeping their environment safe and consistent. I am highly attentive to details like securing doors and gates, keeping dogs properly leashed during walks, and following your specific household instructions. I always send regular photo updates and check-ins so you have full peace of mind while you are away.
“Debbie was great! She went above and beyond in caring for our cats. She did everything we asked and more. I really appreciate that she cleaned the used bowls even though this was not expected. When we met before the visits, she asked great questions to really understand what we and our pets needed. I will definitely schedule Debbie again in the future.”
“With mom out of town and dad busy with long days at work. Christopher swoops in to save the day. With lots of love for the pups and the pups loving him. I get home after work knowing they had a great day makes me happy. I can tell that their in a good mood. No grumpy face from them being bord or lonely. Thank you, and most of all thank you from the pups.”

About: Hello, I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10 years old. I have watched, played, fed and walked friends or neighbors animals. I love and care for any size animal. My family used to own a 200+ English mastiff. I work Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., so pet care is part of my routine before and after work. In the mornings, I feed, walk, and spend time with pets before leaving. After work, I take them for another walk, feed them if needed, play with them, and make sure they have plenty of attention. On weekends, I have more flexibility for feeding, longer walks or other activities. I have a fenced in yard and walking paths all around in my neighborhood. I also have an open field near by to play fetch.
“Aimee took wonderful care of our dog! Our dog is getting older and she was patient and caring. Aimee provided quality care that reassured me that he was fed and loved. Thank you Aimee!!!”

Hannah was great! She took excellent care of our cats while we were out of town. She was always quick to respond to messages and checked in regularly which really went the extra mile. My wife and I appreciate her taking time out of her days to make sure our boys were fed and well taken care of. We will absolutely be rebooking Hannah and would highly recommend her!
This was our first time having someone complete drop-in visits to check on my cat as previously we had left the cat at another person's house. Sam was able to visit our home to meet our pet, and we left some instructions for her before we left. We had booked her for every other day; however, our cat became anxious and she offered to check on him. We booked her for extra days, she checked in/out upon visit and provided updates and pictures of our cat. Would definitely be using her services again when needed.

Our babies love Gage! Especially Finnegan. Gage took wonderful care of them while we were gone. He was attentive and friendly, making them comfortable around him. He was very respectful of our home. Sent plenty of pics for momma! We highly recommend him and will be using him again.

Amy did a phenomenal job. She did drops in for my 2 medically fragile cats for 11 days and was able to administer their injectable medicine. She was enthusiastic and attentively executed their comprehensive care tasks. She also gracefully handled a situation where my cat had to be taken to his vet which is quite far from my house and during rush hour. She also left my home very tidy. Great communication and phenomenal care- my cats loved her which is a noteworthy stamp of approval. I would recommend Amy to anyone who has pets with special needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
