About: I am a lifelong dog parent, with over 4 decades of experience with many different breeds; ranging from Terriers to Labs, Shepherds, Huskys, Bully Breeds, Hounds, Herding dogs, Sporting and Working breeds, Toy groups, and many mixed breeds. I am home nearly around the clock, and committed full time to giving great care and attention to my highly -valued dog guests. I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people, which has been an invaluable learning experience for me. I have a very laid back and easy-going approach and style that I have had great success with in relating to and connecting with dogs and their pet parents. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. My home is on a 1/2 acre fenced in wooded lot with a cabin like interior and country atmosphere that is both welcoming , safe, and fun for my dog guests, and I make it a top priority to treat your dogs like family. I also have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dogs along if that is something you are comfortable with. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.

About: I have had 5 family dogs in my life, 1 of which is my dog, personally trained her. And my job throughout high school was dog sitting & dog walking! I am currently working part-time, only 5 minutes from home. My schedule varies weekly but I will always schedule dog visits or boardings when the pup will get my 100% attention. I have a fenced yard & an amazing roommate. We both love dogs and would absolutely love to have your dog join our little sanctuary for any time needed.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 7 years old. I grew up on an acreage and we always had cats and dogs. I can administer shots and medication and have experience bottle feeding kittens and bunnies. I love animals and understand that each one is different and deserves love. I am patient and careful with each pet, giving them the attention they need and feel most comfortable with. I have a soft spot for senior animals. I am a teacher, so I am available all summer for your pet sitting needs! During the school year, I am only available on the weekends or after school check-ins. I will follow all directions and rules for taking care of your pet(s). Each one is special and I understand they all have their own needs. I am great at going with the flow with your pet and letting them lead the activity.

About: I have taken care of dogs for my whole life I have always had a dog and I love them as if they are my own children! Your dogs will be in great hands I am currently back home from San Diego and am planning on staying in Illinois for a while and I want to make a living helping animals. I don’t have a full time job at the moment so I have all the time in the world. I have a car that I can get anywhere with ease at anytime. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and different attitudes. I have owned dogs my whole life so I am very experienced.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and it’s truly my passion, everyone I know trusts me with their furrbabies! I’ve had dogs (great dane and boston terriers), cats, fish, tortoise, and a bearded dragon. I treat every pet like my own, i’m attentive and patient, and my main priority is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable! I am a high schooler in online school, a month away from graduating. About: I've lived with cats for most of my life, and I have experience sitting for both senior dogs and puppies! I'm comfortable around dogs of any size and can handle most medications and messes, provided some instruction. In case it's relevant, I also have some limited experience with a variety of other animals, ranging from birds and mice to horses and rabbits! I'm currently waiting for the growing season to start up again (I'm an environmental technician), so I have plenty of free time during the week to spend helping out with pet care. I have a rather skittish kitty of my own, so I can't board any animals, but I'm happy to come visit others. About: I have been a Petco certified dog trainer since I was 18 and have dog/house sat many times since! I treat your dog like family and your home with respect! I am flexible! I am available Mondays and Thursdays all day. Saturdays I get off work at 2:00pm I work 9-5 during the rest of the days of the week. But I always need an excuse to use PTO so watching your fur baby won’t be problem! I just need a two week notice Quality time will be spent with your fur baby to make sure they keep busy. Plenty of playtime and mental stimulation. I love using puzzle toys, snuffles and other things to get a dogs mind working!

I currently manage a lively three-cat household with my sweet cuddle bug Lillie, and my sister’s rambunctious and silly littermate brothers, Scout and Sawyer. I am also the proud owner of a childhood calico named Luna, and a Shepherd/golden mix, Osa. Because Osa is a high-energy, reactive dog, I learned a lot from her and personally worked on training her. Additionally, I have experience with senior pets. I lovingly cared for my late childhood dog, Sisi, which included managing her daily medications. I have also administered short-term medications to cats. I specialize exclusively in house sitting at your home, drop-in visits, and neighborhood dog walks. I look forward to giving your pets the absolute best care! :) My schedule is very flexible this summer, which makes it easy to stick to whatever daily routine your pets are used to. Whether they need a mid-day drop-in visit, a walk, or someone to stay overnight to keep them company, I can easily accommodate their regular timing. Since I will be caring for your pets in your home, my main priority is keeping their environment safe and consistent. I am highly attentive to details like securing doors and gates, keeping dogs properly leashed during walks, and following your specific household instructions. I always send regular photo updates and check-ins so you have full peace of mind while you are away.
