About: My husband I both grew up with golden retrievers and have a soft spot for them. When I was first out on my own and bought my first home, I rescued a pit bull and she was with me until she passed. My husband, sons and I are all dog lovers and would love to welcome your dog into our home. My husband is home full time and I work from home and we are anxious to care for your pet! We have 2 sons - ages 6 and 10, so kid-friendly dogs are a must. We are available any day of the week at any time, unless we have something specific planned (which is not often). About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have never had a moment in my life where I was not around pets in some capacity. I spent time with my own dogs and cats as well as working at my sister’s grooming salon as a bather and pet sitter. Tipper is a high energy pup and got along well with their dog Honey. Joanne sent daily updates with pictures which we appreciated. When we picked Tipper up she had all her things packed up and ready to go. We appreciated that because we were tired from our trip. We were also pleased that Tipper was tired too. This tells us she was given lots of attention and activity during her stay at Joanne’s. Tipper spent the afternoon and evening napping as we did too. We have already mentioned to Joanne that we’d like to use her again this summer. We highly recommend her as a great dog sitter!”

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve had the joy of raising two dogs from puppies, giving me firsthand experience with everything from potty training and basic training to the high energy and patience that young dogs require. I have been dog sitting for friends & family in Michigan & Illinois for 3 years now. In my professional life, I’m an Occupational Therapist who works with older adults. I regularly help residents safely care for and enjoy time with their beloved pets, so I’m experienced in recognizing changes in behavior, adapting to individual needs, and providing calm, attentive care. I’m also comfortable with senior dogs who may need a slower pace. Because I’m young and active, I love getting outside for walks, playtime, and adventures that help energetic dogs stay happy and engaged. Whether your pup wants a long walk, a game of fetch, or just lots of cuddles and companionship, I’ll tailor my care to their personality and routine. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own, so you can feel confident they’re safe, loved, and having a great time while you’re away! I work a normal 9-5 Monday-Friday. Therefore I prefer to do Friday afternoon-Sunday evening stays! This way I am available 24/7 for the pet. I have a fenced in yard (that is also dig proof). I currently have one very friendly dog who would be eager to any pups companion. My dog is allowed on furniture/in beds. We have a lot of sidewalks & trails within our neighborhood for walks. I have multiple security cameras.

Rusty has a dog-friendly space indoors and out and was attentive to the dogs’ individual personality traits and needs. This was the first time I’ve left them with a sitter and both dogs responded well and appeared comfortable. “We greatly appreciated Mary & Norman. This is our first time using Rover for our friendly and energetic husky. We liked how our husky was the only dog during his stay. We did a meet and greet with Mary and Norman and knew right away that they were the perfect place for our dog. They took our husky on 4-6 walks each day and he had so much fun. We were communicated daily with updates. We had zero worries or issues with the stay and with arranging times that mutually worked for us for drop off and pick up. We can’t wait for the next visit!”

“Chisato was exceptional with caring for our Lexxie. We made the best decision ever for the care of our dog. For seventeen days Chisato would take time to send photos and videos of our dogs activities. They were quite humorous and lovable. Lexxie was safe and adjusted quickly. All of our dogs needs were met along with her medicine, feedings, play time, and those walks during the freeze for several days. If anyone desires to have a reliable committed dog boarder, I totally recommend Chisato 100%!!!❤️”
