Savanah was wonderful with our two pups - a greyhound and a coonhound mix - a lazy one and a wild one :) She stayed at our home for 4 nights and 5 days and only left the pups alone once, which was well beyond our expectations! Savanah was respectful of our home, leaving it in great condition for our return and updated us daily including pics - which made it easy to see they loved her. She followed all instructions we provided and reached out when she had questions. When we returned, it was obvious they had been well cared for as they were content and calm ... and I think they were still looking for Savanah! About: I am a lifelong pet owner of 3 dogs. I have plenty of experience with dog walking, house sitting, quality and effective playtime, dealing with messy cleanups, and administering medication. Brittany handled a situation with another dog that was off leash very effectively! My dog does not like other dogs, and she picked up my dog to avoid a potentially dangerous situation. Overall she took very good care of their needs, even walking them a couple times a day when she could have just let them in the fenced yard. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from the puppy years all the way up to saying goodbye. I have many years of experience in handing dogs and caring for them. Throughout the years I have dog sat neighbors and friends dogs. Leaving a family member behind is hard, for both you and your pet, I am here to eliminate that stress by making sure your pet is well taken care of while their human is away. I am available anytime after 8am for play dates and check-ins, I have a pretty open and flexible schedule and will be able to work out times that best work for you! When it comes to the safety of your pet, I take this very seriously. I only give treats/toys that you approve. If there are special accommodations your pet may need, please let me know before meeting so I can come prepared! I am very open minded to discussing anything that I can do to better care for your pet!

I have spent decades frequenting the lake county dog parks; studying their behaviors and interactions with other dogs and with people. I have a very laid back and easy-going approach that I have had great success with in relating to and connecting with dogs and their pet parents. I am very tuned in to their body language, and very adept at reading their emotions. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard with a cabin like interior that is very welcoming to dogs. I offer both a fun and safe environment for my pet guests, and will treat them like family. I have lake access with a private beach if your dog(s) like to swim. I frequent the lake county dog parks and would love to take your dog(s) along if that is something you are comfortable with. I am very flexible - and typically available 7 days per week. I am available nights, weekends, and holidays. Ideally allow for two days advance notice. Safety is my top priority. I have a 1/2 acre fenced in lot, and a very warm and comfortable dog friendly home, that was once a summer cottage close to Round Lake. I am on a quiet dead end road which is very safe for walks, as well as freedom to roam the yard. My goal is to customize my services to meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be. I will treat your pets as I do my own- like family- lots of fun, exercise and plenty of TLC.
