About: Most of my experience was from growing up with my cockapoo Casey. He made me realize how much I enjoyed the company of dogs, and it made me more than happy to help family and friends with looking after their own pets when they would be away. I always want to make sure they're kept loved and appreciated and would do my best to make it feel like their routine is the same as it always is. Since I currently have a part-time job from home, I have the flexibility to take care of pets during the day for any food or potty breaks, as well as availability during the afternoon and evening to give dogs the love and attention they need. I live in a home without a fence, however we live in a neighborhood that makes for easy walking. There is also space indoors for dogs to run around and play with toys, which my previous cockapoo would do all the time.

“If you are looking for someone to stay in your home and give lots of love and care for your pet, Jillian is just wonderful and I would highly recommend!! What was unique about Jillian is that she stayed in our home the entire time. She followed all of my instructions, provided daily updates and pictures and when she left, she washed the linens and the home was clean and tidy. She may not be able to provide the fast, active walk with your pet, but she is fully capable to walk and play with your pet. I ended up booking another dog walker separately for a more active walk. This arrangement worked perfectly for me and worth the additional cost, as I would rather have my dog be with a loving sitter in my home where my dog was not left alone than having more dog walks. I will definitely be booking Jillian again! She was a joy to work with and I know she made my dog feel safe and loved. Thank you.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have been the go to for friends and family members when they travel because I have had such a flexible schedule during my career. I am now retired so I can spoil your fur baby 24/7. I have experience with my "nephew" a very large male german shepard all the way down to my soul dog, 8 lb Ellie Mae and everything in between. Multiple dogs is not an issue either. I have watched up to three dogs all with different schedules and needs. I will also leave your house as clean if not cleaner than when you left. I would consider it an honor for you to trust me with both. I have been retired for five years which means I will only be focusing on your dogs happiness and safety. I have been busy on the trusted housesitters site for over a year and have travelled the US visiting friends and family and falling in love with many dogs and taking care of some great homes. I have plenty of references available for you as I transition to this platform. I currently don't have any animals so I'm able to give yours my undivided attention I will take your lead, and the dogs, as to what you require. I love to walk for miles, I love to be outdoors and play fetch and I also appreciate a good chill on the couch. If you dog likes to ride in the car we can go get a pup cup and stick our head out the window. Whatever rules, requirements or special needs your fur baby requires I am able to provide. I will never be gone more that four hours at an absolute maximum and that would be a rarity just depending if I am in a new area and want to explore a little. About: So let's be realistic, we have pretty busy schedules as adults. I don't though so don't feel bad when you schedule me haha. I've been a papa to the biggest of fluffers and smallest of small dogs. I'm very familiar with the feisty kittens and old grumpy cats, and at one point even a gold fish I kept for 2 years. I am no stranger to particular schedules, care routines, or special requests of animals. You got shedders? Not a problem I have lint rollers haha. I have been in customer service for years now, and every time when making someone's day easier or allowing them to feel less stress it brings me the most joy. I've been a mix of animals owner most of my life from fostering animals in need or assisting family and friends with taking care of their animals. I also supply baggies for bathroom time and long sleeves if it's chilly outside. I go on a lot of walks!! Anytime I'm not home baking or hanging out with a friend I'm normally just out and about exploring my neighborhood. My set preference schedule is actually just for when I have to either go to the gym or when I schedule appointments because Mondays work easier. Your pets are the number one priority. If they require something and I am attending them I make sure it happens. Not only is your space respected when I watch them but also the pets space. Feeding times, walk routes, and any medical requirements and boundaries will be discussed because all situations are different. If something happens like say something fell or they went potty by accident I will clean it up no problem. A work space is better when it's clean but also when it's fun!!! I do bring things like cleaning baggies and lint rollers but I can also make sure any particular scents are avoided.

When we returned, we were touched to find a carefully prepared gift along with new toys and supplies for our dog. Amanda truly treats every dog like a member of her own family. I can’t recommend her highly enough—she is absolutely wonderful, and we are so grateful to have found her.
This was our first time using Rover and we could not have been more lucky to find Hailey! Hailey is very responsive, provided clear communication, and many awesome updates, including pictures and videos, while we were out of town.
