“Thank you so much for taking such great care of Bibi! We truly appreciate everything you did and all the updates. Your daughter is so adorable 😊❤️ We would love to book with you again in the future!”

“Dayna is fantastic. My dogs really liked her. She was extremely flexible as my plans changed several times. She sent lots of pictures and let me know what was happening with my fur babies every step of the way. I will definitely trust my babies with her in the near future. Highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs since I was little and have loved every second. I was always helping out my family’s and neighbor’s pets - and now I finally got my own puppy in August of 2025. Trained him all on my own and he is the sweetest boy! I work at a kindergarten with special education during the school year. Once June hits, I will be officially out for summer break and plan on focusing all my attention on Rover. I will have all the time on my hands to drop in and take care of your pets! My 10 month old dachshund is very well taken care of. He is my pride and joy - always getting all the cuddles and exercise he needs. I believe that all pets require the same love and attention that humans do and I treat them with that idea in mind.
“With my husband and I working odd hours and not wanting to crate our two pups all day or leave them outside, we took a chance and signed up for Rover where we found Kathryn. I remember being so nervous about all the changes and trusting someone with my babies! But in meeting her and seeing her interact with them, I quickly found peace of mind. She’s now been doing drop ins on and off for the last 18 months for us. She’s great at communicating with me about any concerns or questions and does so promptly. She’s very reliable. I love the AMAZING pictures she sends me of them during her visits. I can tell by looking at them that they adore her! I don’t know what I’d have done without her. We’re so lucky to have Kathryn and would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I had two labs growing up and another lab in my early twenties who I still grieve for today. I currently have no dogs of my own so I pour all my love into my friend’s dogs. The dog I had my twenties had behavioral issues and required patience and understanding in a short amount of time he went from being withdrawn and antisocial to a complete love bug! I’m unemployed but I take care of my disabled mom. Because of this I have a very flexible schedule. I have always loved dogs and miss having one of my own. I’m always excited to spend time with my friend’s dogs. I don’t plan on boarding any dogs at my own home. With how my mom’s health is now it wouldn’t be a good idea to do so.

About: I am a 7 year experienced veterinary technician who has worked primarily with small animals in multiple practices across the United States. I am currently enrolled in veterinary medical school pursuing my doctorate at UIUC in their college of veterinary medicine. In addition, I am a life-long pet owner myself! I grew up with dogs in a variety of sizes, as well as cats. As a veterinary student, I have classes in the morning and sometimes afternoon. This should not be a concern as I still have plenty of time to watch pets! I care for pets in the owners home! As a veterinary student, I am living in an apartment which is not always the appropriate place for watching certain large-sized dogs. I also have a cat of my own who is terrified of dogs!
“Dorothy was outstanding coming to our house to feed and let out our 2 dogs. She was great with the dogs, responds quickly to questions and sent many photos while we traveled out of state for a wedding. We trusted her and did not worry about our dogs. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Alex did amazing job at taking care of my pet chinchilla!! She spent time playing with him and made sure my chinchilla’s cage was stock up in fresh hay, food, water and toys. 😊”

About: I currently own three dogs, and have had at least one dog for around 7 years. I have also taken care of pets for family friends and neighbors since even before that. I frequently take my dogs for walks, and I have no allergies to any dog or cat breeds. I am looking to get a summer position so be aware that this could change but currently I am very free and flexible just about whenever you need me. I'm able to take your dogs for plenty of walks and give them plenty of playtime as necessary. Ideally I would prefer to care for your pets in your home, but I can also do in my house if desired. I have 3 dogs that could keep yours company, and they are very sweet as well as decently small. I also have a fully fenced backyard to play in and a spare crate if necessary, although it is only big enough to hold a pet of around 15 pounds or so.

Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so making space for it in my routine is simple and life‑giving. Caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s—is always hands‑on, attentive, and rooted in genuine love for the canine. My own dog is my “fur child,” so I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, seen, and included. At home, we play ball, go for walks, I home‑cook her meals, groom her, and she sleeps right beside me. She’s part of my daily life and activities. That same level of care, intuition, and presence carries into every client’s home. I respect each dog’s routine, personality, and comfort level, and I make sure they feel secure and cared for. Whether it’s following feeding instructions, maintaining training habits, or simply offering companionship and affection, I provide a calm, trustworthy environment where pets can relax and thrive. “Becca did a great job watching my cat—super responsive and easy to work with. Everything went smoothly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again if I need a sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Brookelynn was super nice! She took on a drop in visit last minute and made sure my fur baby was well taken care of! She was also very responsive and kept me in the loop every step of the way!”

About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. I provide a calm, safe and fun environment for pets to play. Provide walks and let pets out regularly. I believe it’s important to attend to all feeding and medication needs as a high priority.
“Kati is the best cat sitter that we’ve ever had since moving to the burbs 2 years ago. This is the most relaxing vacation that my husband and I have had in years because we weren’t constantly worrying about our pets! We both highly recommend!!”
