Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently a college student on winter break, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. I enjoy building my days around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, and I make sure each pet gets my full attention. Even during the school year, caring for animals is something I prioritize, so I am reliable, organized, and consistent with every visit.

The more I know in advance, the better I can keep pets comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away.
A typical day
I like to incorporate enrichment activities that keep pets mentally and physically stimulated. These can include puzzle toys, treat hunts, scent work, interactive play, and gentle training games. For dogs, I enjoy going on engaging walks that allow time to sniff and explore. For cats, enrichment may include wand toys, food puzzles, window watching, and creating cozy spaces for relaxation. I always tailor activities to each pet’s age, energy level, and personality to make sure they are having fun while staying comfortable and safe.

With over 6 years of experience working in an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant, I have a strong background in animal care, behavior, and health. I am comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, giving medications, and noticing early signs of illness or stress. I am a pre veterinary student at the University of Illinois and plan to attend veterinary school, so caring for animals is truly my passion and future career. I love getting to know each pet and providing attentive, reliable care so pet parents can feel confident and at ease while they are away.
