About: **PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING PET/HOUSE SITTING** I want to clarify that I do not typically provide traditional overnight house sitting. Instead, I specialize in drop-in care and can provide multiple visits throughout the day to keep your pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. For example, I may visit in the morning, again during the day, and then for a longer evening visit. This works especially well for pets who don't need someone staying overnight but still benefit from consistent attention, exercise, companionship, and care throughout the day. If you're looking for overnight house sitting, I may be open to discussing shorter stays (3 days or less) after a meet & greet, depending on the situation. If you're unsure which option is best for your pets, feel free to reach out! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and genuinely enjoy caring for all kinds of animals. My experience includes dogs and cats, as well as small pets such as rabbits and other small mammals, reptiles, and horses. I also have hands-on equine experience, including equine bodywork, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and responsive with animals of all sizes and temperaments. I follow routines closely—feeding schedules, medications, walks, litter care, habitat care, and all the little details that matter—and I adapt my approach to each animal's personality and needs. Whether your pet is social and energetic, shy and routine-driven, or simply prefers to do their own thing, I meet them where they are. You can expect clear communication and consistent updates while you're away, so you always know your pets are safe and well cared for. I am currently looking to fill in some gaps in my schedule and should be able to accommodate most pet owners and their pet care needs. I follow care instructions closely and treat both your pet and your home with respect and care. Safety, routine, and clear communication are always my priority. About: I have been around pets my whole life and know how to read their body language. I am respectful if they need space and let them warm up to me. My family had large dogs and cats growing up that I helped care for and train. I helped care for 3 litters of puppies and I trained the puppies we kept. I also had a cat who was spoiled with love and lots of playtime. I work at a school and don't work during the summer, so I am very flexible. During the school year my availability will be afternoons/evenings on weekdays. I love cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I will love your pet like my own! I truly enjoy taking care of cats and dogs and giving them lots of play and affection. I always respect their space if they are afraid, but I am skilled at earning their trust and helping them warm up to me.

About: My love and experience with animals starts at home with my own two pets, who I care for as part of my family. I’m very hands-on with their health and happiness, from preparing homemade dog food and treats to making sure they receive plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and love. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet, and I’ll always do my best to follow your pet’s normal routine and any special instructions you provide. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can know how your pet is doing while they’re in my care! Over the past three years, I’ve fostered more than 30 dogs through organizations including Tiny N Tall Rescue, Anderson Humane, Border Tails Rescue, and Chicago Rescue Authority. This experience has allowed me to care for dogs with many different personalities, backgrounds, and needs, teaching me patience, consistency, and how to help dogs feel safe in a new environment. In my home, pets are treated like family with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and cuddles. I also have a private, fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time and play. I follow each pet’s normal routine and strive to make their stay feel like a comfortable home away from home.

About: I volunteer at the Buddy Foundation. I have owned dogs my whole life, sometimes 3 at a time. I have sat for many of my friends pets. I currently adopted a thirteen year old Bishon, after putting down my Wrigley of eighteen years. I work part-time. So I have a lot of free time and energy to take care and to play with other animimals. My routine care is based on my senior dog. It is dependent on his needs not mine. Their schedule is my schedule. About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and shown it in the care I give. I started my pet care experience at 14 by watching family members' pets, as well as my mother's coworkers' animals. From there, I expanded into word-of-mouth clients from friends, and finally opened up a Rover account when I entered my 20s. I treat all pets I care for like my own, and have experience with several animals, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, small mammals, and even horses. I love learning and continue to expand my knowledge for caring for animals by researching and taking classes where I can. I currently work full time, which is Monday through Thursday from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. About: I've taken care of my family pets since I was a kid - we had both dogs and cats. I've taken care of my own mini Aussiedoodle for the past 2 years now since she was a 16 week old pup. And I’ve now watched 10+ different dogs on Rover over the past year, of all different sizes, ages, and needs. I have several repeat customers and promise to always take the best care of your little pup while you’re away as I know it can be sad to leave them behind. I’m welcome to accepting new customers all the time! I will send plenty of pictures and videos on the daily if you wish! I tend to get obsessed with the dogs I’m watching since they’re so cute that I end up taking photos of every moment they look cute (which is pretty much all the time) If your dog happens to need any medications, I will gladly do so and have done this in the past for a couple Rover stays. I also have experience taking care of a dog recovering from surgery - I often had my dog (Indie) in a onesie to protect her stitches, on schedule for her medications, and relaxing as much as possible. I've also been around a couple senior dogs that need special accommodations. I’m home Friday to Monday so I’m flexible during the days on these dates. Otherwise, I’m free after 6pm on Tuesday to Thursday. We go on plenty of walks throughout the day to make up for the missed sniffs and activity that the dogs would find in a yard. Whenever we leave the house my dog - Indie - always rides in a dog car seat with a seat belt, and an extra seat belt can be used for another dog as well. I bring my dog for a ride every. single. time as long as I don’t have to go inside, so they are always welcome to come in the car and get buckled up for a ride :)
