“It is hard to find a sitter during the holidays so I am very happy to find Vijaya! My senior poodle had a great time with some new canine friends in Vijaya’s spacious home. Vijaya took great care of her and even took her for a walk in the neighborhood. Throughout the day, I received photos updates which I appreciate very much. We trust Vijaya with our precious pup and will certainly board with Vijaya again.”

About: March 2023 update: We had said goodbyes to our most beloved Ryan dog. For all of you who have been through lost, we now understand you and cry with you. We will slowly open up our schedule possibly starting summer time. You’ll see Ryan showing up in most of our photos and descriptions of our dog care style. We are just not ready to go through it and edit any yet… Thank you for understanding :) Hi! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Xu, my partner Sam and our little senior dog Ryan welcome you to our profile. We love going for walks in the neighborhood and nearby forest preserves, and some days we just lounge and sunbathe at home. I would love for your dog to join us! I believe positive reinforcement is the only way to train a dog, maybe we'll try some clicker training if your dog is interested. Ryan is an 13(ish)-year-old brindle 17 pounder. Ryan is very friendly with other doggies, no matter big or small! He likes to go for long walks, sniff around, greet other people and dogs, do some tricks to get yummy snacks, and sunbathe! We will be spending plenty of time by your dog's side as we will be home the entire time. Ryan the dog usually lounge throughout the day when he is inside the house. We will be sending plenty photos and videos updates and keeping an open line of communication. We live in a dog-friendly Townhouse next to a forest preserve for walkies! Ryan is very quiet and will not get in your dog's business. If your dog does not enjoy "parallel play" and need a play partner, Ryan is not going to be a good fit. We host dogs from only one household at a time, unless everyone meets and agree to each other prior to the stay :)

We also appreciate the socialization he’s gotten meeting some other pups while at day care. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sue to anyone!”

About: HI! I’m Ashley, I grew up with many different breeds of dogs. I recently had to put the love of my life MrReese- A Cane Corso/Pit mix to sleep due to cancer. I’m very comfortable dealing with large strong breeds that are selective dog friendly. I understand how stressful it is to trust and allow a stranger into your home or care for your furbaby. I missed alot of vacations because I had a hard time finding someone that could handle my baby :) ha! Let me help ease those worries. My normal hours of work are 1pm-9pm. Please reach out with any questions. Im also available to house sit in your home if your more comfortable with that. Thank you for checking out my profile. My current schedule is 1pm-9pm with rotating days off. I'm able to walk them in the am, right before I leave for work at noon and as soon as I get home. A home is not a home without a dog. I will follow your directions and what they are and are not allowed. During any stay in my home, all pets are allowed to cuddle on couch if you approve. I also have a Large Dog beds, pillows, blankets, and extra food/water bowls for your pet that are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
About: I've been around pets me whole life. I have always loved dogs of all sizes. My parents owned Shih Tzus since I was a kid and I was constantly around close family members' German Shepherds as well. I've done drop-ins countless times over the years for cats of friends and family. Now along with my husband, we live with our dog, Melon, and our cat, Amy. Melon is a 50lb 1-year-old mix breed, and Amy is an 11-year-old senior cat. They can be hectic and they keep us on our toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way! When your pets are in my care, I'll always treat them with all the love and adoration I give my own. I am currently between full-time jobs, so my schedule tends to be open and very flexible for caring for your pets, whether it be on weekdays or the weekend. For pet care at your home, I will prioritize sticking to whatever routine keeps you and your pets comfortable and happy! I know how stressful it can be when family members aren't home, and will do whatever your pets need to know that they are safe and loved even in your absence. If your dog comes to stay at my house, you can take comfort in knowing they'll have access to a fully fenced back yard to run and play in, so they are secure and entertained. My dog, Melon, LOVES other dogs and nothing would make her happier than a new friend coming over to hang out with her.
