“Our dog, Maggie, loves Shannon! We have a high energy lab mix puppy who was having a tough time being alone for long. A weight has been lifted off our shoulders as Shannon comes to visit and walk Maggie. Shannon is reliable and super communicative! We get pictures every time along with a little summary of her visit. We feel like we the jackpot with Shannon!”

About: I'm a mother of 2 small children, so I'm excellent at multi-tasking and thinking on my feet. I've taken care of my own dog for 10 years before having children, and understand the joy it brings dogs to go on walks and experience all the smells throughout the neighborhood. I also know that dogs are part of the family (my dog was like my baby), so I take this role very seriously. I work from home every day except Thursday, so I have more availability. Also available most weekends at some point during the days and evenings. I take great care to follow the family's instructions with feeding, walking, and playing. I have watched my brother-in-law's dog in my home and she thrived here while he was out of town.
About: I know it can be difficult to find a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter/walker to take care of your pet and I would be happy to help you out! My top priority is to make your pet feel comfortable and loved and the owners feel at ease knowing that your pets are getting well taken care of while you are away. I have lived with dogs my entire life. I also grew up fostering dogs and puppies. I currently work at an animal hospital as a certified veterinary technician. I work with dogs and cats on a daily basis so I am very familiar with all types of breeds and personalities. I treat all animals with the same care and love I give my own pet. I would love to take care of your furry friends and I look forward to hearing from you! I work full time but I am typically off on Tuesdays most weeks. Weekends are busy but I may be available some weekends upon request I can walk your pet, play fetch in the backyard, provide them with food, water, medications or anything else that you may need for your pet

About: I am a dog owner for the past 8 years and own two Setter pups. Friends have entrusted me with their dogs for petsitting and dog walking - in some occasions I would have as many as 4 dogs with me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! As a dog parent I know how important is to have someone you trust with your baby, I will treat your dog as my own, making sure your dog is safe and happy! My work schedule varies week by week between office and home, which allows me some flexibility. When in the area, I am flexible to go on a walk with your pup to get some fresh air or do a drop in visit to spend some time with them. When I drop in to check on your pup or take on a walk, I will always follow your instructions closely and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. During walks, I will keep a close eye on them, always be on leash, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level. Afterward, provide a quick pupdate so you know your pup is happy and well taken care of.
About: I am currently a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist working in acute care. (I work 7 - 5:30pm Monday- Thursday) in the Huntley area, but live in Arlington heights so I am flexible with locations. (For drop in visits or day care I am able to provide for those closer to my location. House stays I can work around being near my home or near my work) I will do my best but cannot make every request happen! I have always grown up with a dog in the house. I have had experience with a my family dog who was blind and deaf and required insulin for diabetes. I worked 5+ years at a Kennel for boarding and grooming in the summers. There I interacted, cleaned cages and yards, fed, did plays and walks. Dogs boarding at the kennel were of all breeds, sizes and ages. I also dog sit for friends, going to their house throughout the day to interact and feed dogs or staying in the home. Being in graduate school I enjoy the stress relief that dogs can provide and love being welcomed home by a wagging tail. I understand the patience it takes with some dogs and that each dog is unique. To care for a dog you must get to know who the dog is, likes and dislikes, and their routines. All dogs deserve attention, care and love! Since I cannot have a dog of my own at this time I get my dog fix by caring for dogs whenever I can! Pleases reach out and see what we can arrange ! I currently work full time: Monday to Thursdays (7am to 5:30pm-), I am willing to always do house sitting to stay with an animal. I will make sure I can commit and give an animal the proper amount of time before agreeing on the request. I also am willing to do walks and plays on my days off and when home from work. I cannot care for animals in my apartment at this time so I love staying at clients homes to get my time with furry companions. At a clients home I will make sure I ask and understand how to best control a dog when inside or outside (if gates are used, leashes, fences). I also want to make sure I know how the dog best interacts with new people and how they normally act so I can be aware if there is a change in their behavior that needs to be addressed or so I can tell if they are stressed with a change in their schedule. I like to best replicate their typical schedule and daily life to limit any stress

About: I have loved animals my entire life. Even as a little girl, most photos of me featured a cat or dog by my side. Over the years, I’ve been a proud pet parent to cats, dogs, birds, fish, and even lizards. Today, I’m blessed to share my life with six beautiful cats who bring me endless joy. My journey as a professional petsitter began during my time as a caregiver for elderly clients. I quickly realized that the highlight of my visits was interacting with their pets. Over time, my clients began trusting me to care for their furry companions, and I discovered my true passion in pet sitting. I also have extensive hands-on experience caring for animals with special needs. One of my most rewarding experiences was adopting a sick kitten named Coco. From administering medications and subcutaneous fluids to insulin shots and senior care, I ensured Coco lived the best, most comfortable life possible. This dedication to providing a high quality of life—free of pain and filled with love—is the foundation of my work with all pets. Whether it's safe and enjoyable dog walks, feeding and nurturing your pets, or engaging them in fun play sessions, my goal is always to earn their trust, shower them with affection, and provide the care they deserve. I believe in building a spiritual connection with pets, which often feels even deeper than the bond with their humans—and I love every moment of it. Let me be the one to care for your beloved companions as if they were my own. I am dedicated to ensuring your pets receive the best care, and I strive to offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs. Weekdays: I am available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Saturdays: My hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sundays: I’m available throughout the day, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. I work on holidays. Whether you need someone for a morning walk, midday check-in, or evening cuddle session, I am here to provide loving and reliable care for your pets. Please feel free to reach out with specific time requests, and I will do my best to accommodate you and your furry family members. In the past, I offered pet care in my home. However, as my cat family has grown to six wonderful companions, they’ve unanimously decided (with some strong meows of agreement!) that I should now focus on providing care exclusively in my clients’ homes. At this time, I am happy to offer petsitting services in the comfort and familiarity of your home. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, a midday check-in, or an evening cuddle session, I am here to ensure they feel loved, secure, and well cared for. Providing care in your home allows me to create a stress-free experience for your pets, keeping their routine consistent and their environment familiar. Please feel free to reach out with specific time requests—I will do my absolute best to accommodate you and your furry family members. Your pets’ happiness, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities!
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and know how much love and responsibility they need. Back in middle school, I started my own dog walking business and cared for everything from big Bernese Mountain Dogs to little Shih Tzus. I’m patient, reliable, and love spending time with dogs—whether it’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or just giving them some extra attention. Right now I’m job hunting, so I’m free Monday through Thursday any time of the day. Once I do start working, I’ll still be available most evenings when needed! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or visiting them at yours, I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I follow their regular routines for feeding, walks, or playtime, and I give them plenty of attention and affection. I keep their space clean and comfortable—whether it’s making sure dogs get bathroom breaks or keeping litter boxes tidy for cats. I also send updates or photos so owners know their pets are doing well. Every pet gets the care they need based on their personality and routine, and I treat them like they’re my own!

We had a wonderful experience with Alina. She’s professional, thorough and handled our dog Nitchky’s routine perfectly. We really appreciate the detailed report cards after each visit. She genuinely cares about the pets she’s watching. We will definitely be using her services again and highly recommend.
Lois was so great with Pepper! She has been reliable, and we have been very happy with how sweet and caring she is with our dog. We were also very impressed with how prepared she came to our meet and greet—she had all of the right questions prepared to ask us. It is very clear that she is a dog lover. We feel great knowing that Pepper has some company to visit her during the day.

Rebeckah has done a fantastic job walking my Bernese mountain dog, Lilly. Lilly always comes home so happy. Rebeckah makes sure she gets plenty of exercise and fun. She switches up her walking routes and brings her toys and treats. She also makes sure to wipe Lilly’s paws and fills her water bowl when she returns. I know Lilly is in great hands, as Rebeckah treats her like her own. She has been a huge help!!

Sophia is a fantastic dog caregiver! She was so attentive to our senior dog who be anxious and has her quirks. Sophia was on time with every visit and so communicative. It was reassuring to know how well our dog was being cared for. We would definitely recommend her and plan to hire her again.

Thank you so much for your flexibility & accommodating my last minute request before my trip! I truly felt no worries while you were walking them, and knew each day they would get their exercise and go to the bathroom on their walks which gave me such relief. Wonderful to work with, will absolutely book again in the future with Oriana!! She is the best and I could tell my dogs loved her and felt comfortable with her!
