“Becca did a great job watching my cat—super responsive and easy to work with. Everything went smoothly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again if I need a sitter. Highly recommend!”

“I would highly recommend Jamie! She recently completed a drop in visit for our dog and cat- during the meet and greet my dog was completely OBSESSED with her and based on the updates I received, his love for Jamie was still strong! Jamie followed instructions and left our home in excellent condition. I would gladly use her services again ☺️”

“We have never left our dogs with someone before/had someone come over to do drop ins for our dogs, so I was hesitant on trusting a stranger. But at the meet and greet, I knew Sarah was going to be awesome! She was thorough with her questions, got a great understanding of the dogs, even asked questions I didn't think of! I felt our home and dogs were safe with her the entire weekend. She gained our trust instantly (which is not something that happens often)! The dogs loved her and had the best time with her!?”
“Krissy is extremely responsive and has great communication. She has save us multiple times, watching our dogs very last minute when other sitters have had to cancel. She takes amazing care of our two pups and we’re grateful to work with her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in my 20s. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs, so I know how to handle their special care. I’m very experienced in feeding and grooming, and I love the companionship it brings to a family! I am a stay at home mom, and my husband works from home, so there’s always someone there to watch and play with your fur baby! We always have lots of time for walking and playing throughout the day. I have an extremely safe neighborhood with a little park about a 3 minute walk away, two kids that love playing with dogs, (16 and 9) and an extremely friendly mini goldendoodle!

“Kelsey watched our cat for a week while we were out of town. She was always on time, took great photos and took excellent care of “our boy.” An issue came up with our garage door opening on its own, and Kelsey quickly got in touch with us and manually closed the door. And she made sure our house was secure. She made us feel completely secure knowing our house and our cat were being taken care of. We would definitely use Kelsey’s services again.”

About: Hello! I’ve been working with all sorts of pets since young, not only within my family but checking in with pets of family members and friends. I have had experience with cats and dogs of all types-energetic, sleepy seniors, etc. I’m currently working from about 8am-3:30pm making it easy for me to pop in before or after work. Weekends are best if needing mid day walks. House sitting works into pretty much any routine for me! I can easily crate your dog if needed! With a dog of my own who is a runner I triple check doors are locked/anything that would harm your pet is out of the way (food, containers, etc.) I also just try to create an environment where your pet can warm up to me!
About: I have taken care of dogs for over 15 years now. We always have had one dog at a time but love them dearly! We have a fenced backyard safe and clean for the dogs to roam around. If you need walks, let us know the schedule. We also rescued a puppy in Dec 2025 after our previous dog of 6 years passed away (from cancer). We have gated areas to keep pups apart for their alone time and get together for playtime! I am currently at home full time so I’m very flexible with hours and routine. I will work around the schedules to meet your dog’s needs. I have a FENCED backyard and our backyard is regularly cleaned. We have a gated area in the home to keep the dogs separate for their “me time” if needed. We also never let our dog upstairs or in the basement so if yours needs to sleep in the bed, we can’t do that. We also don’t let dogs on our couches. We love our furry family members and they should have their own furniture:) We have an XL crate if you prefer we can use it for your dog. We have several safe toys for the dogs but let me know if your pup has a tendency to get into things. We will always keep an eye out! We also have pet safe indoor plants throughout the home. If your dog has a habit of digging into pots, please let me know.
About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, helped raise two puppies. I volunteered at a puppy shelter! I am good with high energy and senior dogs. Over the summer I work from 8:00-12:30 am so before and after that I am completely free! Can care for the pet mornings, afternoon and nights! I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for a dog even for a short amount of time. And will make sure the animal is safe and protected within my care.
“Aury has been so attentive and caring for my cats this past year. I am relocating for work and truly wish I could move her with me! I never had to worry when I left town because she always took such good care of my cats and sent me tons of photos and videos. 100/10 recommend, Aury is the best!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and just moved to Boston with my dog Sanibel. She loves friends so I’d be looking to help anyone who’s ok with their dog walking with and hanging out with mine while I’m taking care of them. I provide plenty of daily exercise and can manage most needs. Can’t wait to meet your pup and add them to our daily adventures! 🐶✨ I work from home so am available all day and night. My schedule is very flexible and allows me plenty of time to take care of animals. Dogs are allowed on the couch in my home and in any room of the house. They are treated like family. I have 1 crate here if needed.
“This was our first time using Rover and Rebeckah put all my nerves at ease. She is so friendly and kind. She did an incredible job giving us updates and sending pictures of our fur babies! I would highly recommend. We look forward to booking again, knowing our pups will be well taken care of!”

“We were so thrilled to have Carly watch out kittens while we were away. She was always prompt in replying to messages and gave us plenty of updates with pictures and videos while we were away. It was definitely a great relief knowing that someone as capable and caring as Carly was watching our kittens, and we'll be sure to use her again the next time we're out of town!”
About: I’ve taken care of every kind of dog since I was 15. Neighbors, friends, family have all relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their fur babies. I’m an animal lover who used to be a jr. Naturalist; I love all animals. I’m currently working a before school care program and an after school care program with the park district. I am available for walking pets starting at 9am-3pm (Monday- Friday) all year round. For pet setting it depends on the time and date. I live in a townhouse with a family friendly neighborhood; I don’t have a fenced in yard, however, I do have a park that we can let them ran around. Your pet won’t be lonely in our home we have a fur baby ourselves, Nigel (west highland terrier). I would look after your fur baby like my own, walks three to four times a day, fed as often as needed, play time, love and compassion. Your fur baby is apart your family and will be cared for that way.
“Kaylie has literally been life saver for us! She has been more than willing to adjust how she does visits to help my puppy deal with separation anxiety, she is very quick to respond, and always leaves a great Rover card with lots of photos so that I can get an update on my puppy during the day.”

Heather has many 5 star reviews and I am leaving another one. She is friendly, personable and conscientious and that’s with people. My dogs consider her their new BFF! Calming with my reactive dog and doting on my needy over thinking dog - I came home to some very happy poochies. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy with excellent communication skills (text updates and cute pics) Heather is a definite go to pet sitter. Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
