“Jessica and Luis were amazing with our 2 Australian Shepherds! They did numerous drops in while we were on vacation and handled walking, play time, snuggles and meal times. We were given a detailed pet intake form to fill out so they could learn about our dogs and their routines and any house rules. They were very friendly and handled all our requests. We were happy our dogs got to stay home and keep up with their routine and Jessica and Luis sent us lots of photos and videos throughout the day. They gave us peace of mind and we would absolutely use them again.”

“Brianna took care of my cats while my fiancée and I were out of town. It’s a bit difficult to find sitters that can administer oral medicine to cats, and Brianna was able to meet the task, give love to my 2 cats and make sure their area was well kept. She responds quickly to texts as well. If you need a cat sitter, I would recommend her to any client!”

“Cathy did an EXCEPTIONAL job caring for our fur baby!! He has a lot of energy and sass lol and she embraced it and was great with him! She was attentive, on time, thorough in her updates to me as I was a very anxious mama! I highly recommend her and will definitely work with her again in the future!”

About: "What sets me apart is that I treat every dog as an individual, not just another booking. I take the time to learn each dog's routine, personality, and needs so they feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I prioritize clear communication by providing regular updates, photos, and quick responses. I'm also dependable, attentive to safety, and focused on maintaining the same level of care and consistency that the dog receives at home I'm currently between the jobs but looking to switch carriers and become a dog sitter and walker permanently. . . . . . . . I care for pets in their own home by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them according to their schedule, providing fresh water, walks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I make sure their living areas stay clean, administer medications if needed, and monitor their health and behavior for any changes. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they're away. In addition, I respect my clients' homes by keeping everything tidy and secure.
About: I have experience working with all types of dogs in several settings. I have been trusted as a dog walker for breeds of many sizes and temperaments and pet sitter for both daily and overnight stays for dogs of all ages. I have loved it all! I am currently a full time college student and part-time volunteer, which means my availability is primarily dictated by my class schedule. During school months, I am most available in the afternoons and evenings, but over breaks I am much more free! I currently live in a dorm and am therefore unable to bring your pet into my living space, but am willing to use my car to transport your dog(s)!

I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. 🐶💕 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—not just a job. I offer flexible weekday and weekend availability from 7 AM–6 PM for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I’ll tailor each visit to your pet’s unique personality and needs while keeping their routine happy and consistent. “Ellie was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and patient. My cat took an instant liking to her and she was extremely competent. I felt like I left my cat in excellent hands while I was away. Ellie went above and beyond when caring for my cat and I am so grateful!!”

“Tania was available super last minute for us and took great care of our dogs! She’s communicative, sends photos and videos, and takes time to play with our dogs. They love her and so do we!”

“Becca was an excellent sitter — reliable, communicative, and great with our pup. I appreciated the updates and photos while we were away. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!”

“♥️Ashley and Andrew are a very personable and responsible couple that we had the pleasure of hiring for our cat care needs. They took A+ care of our 13 and 3 year old cats. The cats are so happy. We could tell that they were well taken care of and spoiled with attention during our vacation. These two people are high on our list of the very best kind of people that we have met and would most definately rehire. We love the ease of choosing the perfect sitters thru Rover, kind, knowledgeable, people keeping us up to date with every visit with a report and pictures♥️ Very reassuring🤗. Thank you Ashley and Andrew.. we had a wonderful vaca!!”

“Aury was so flexible with our Pepper. Originally booked for 3 days drop in visit, but due to our flight cancellations, we had to extend 2 extra days. Aury went above and beyond to make sure Pepper was fed and got his medicine, and the ease of adding extra days made me feel a lot better about not being home in time. Will definitely be using Aury again for our next vacation.”

“Krystal did a FANTASTIC job with our cats. One of which is not usually friendly / kind, he warmed up to her quickly and was even walking on her lap! You can feel 100% confident that Krystal will take great care of your furry friends. Will be back time & time again to work with her when we need help with the cats!”

“Gabrielle is incredible! She takes great care of our 10 year old lab, leaves details notes and is great with communication. She is definitely our go to dog sitter!”

“Ida was a fantastic sitter for our cats. She sent multiple photos and videos each day, took well care of them and made sure they had some play time. She even brought her laser when our battery was dying which was very thoughtful. She was a great communicator too. We would love to have her watch our girls again!”

“Mya did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of my sweet senior cat. She is extremely communicative and sends contact card photos at every check-in, which helped the time away not be as difficult. My senior cat has a pretty strict eating schedule and Mya was always punctual during the time frame we discussed, likely even on her days off. Mya went above and beyond when she noticed some ants in the house, she responded quickly by letting me know, and handled it with ease. Anyone who is able to book with Mya wont be disappointed and I look forward to booking with her again in the future!”

About: I grew up with family dogs, and took care of family and friend’s dogs and cats when they were away for extra money as a teen. When I adopted my first pet, I started volunteering at One Tail at a Time where I was trained to feed, socialize, walk, and give medication to rescue cats and dogs per their individual needs. I am a school social worker looking for evenings and weekends from now until late June. I will have full availability through out July and most of August until the school year starts again. I have experience following detailed care plans for small medium and large dogs, including diet, medication, exercise, play, etc. As a part of my volunteer role, I have completed trainings on animal behavior in dogs and cats, and know how to redirect unwanted behaviors safely. As a pet owner, I will treat your pet like my own.
“Sandra was wonderful with my kitty, Cora, and even brought her extra special treats and new toys to play with. She was very trustworthy with the routine and access methods to my home. We would highly recommend Sandra and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

Heather has many 5 star reviews and I am leaving another one. She is friendly, personable and conscientious and that’s with people. My dogs consider her their new BFF! Calming with my reactive dog and doting on my needy over thinking dog - I came home to some very happy poochies. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy with excellent communication skills (text updates and cute pics) Heather is a definite go to pet sitter. Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Inverness with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
