I am a new grad and am currently looking for something part-time while I wait for crediting for my current field. Needing more money while or after attending college is a given! Fenced yard with a current little doggo. He’s a smaller yorkie mix and can be shy with dogs first, after a while he does warm up and enjoy playing,

About: I have loved animals since childhood, and when I was a child I had a cat. I also lived with my boyfriend's family for a year, they had a dog and I took care of Him. Now periodically my friends leave their dogs with me when they go on a trip or on a business trip. I love this expression: "Dogs talk, but only to those who can listen." I work online so I have a lot of time to play and take care of your dogs. The second part of the day is more freely , but I have a flexible schedule and can combine work and pet care. I have a large one-room apartment with plenty of space for a dog. Near the house there is a large area outside for walking, a few minutes away there is a large park with a lake. I walk the dog several times a day, feed it on schedule, and play with the cats' and dogs' favorite toys.

About: Have had a dog all my life and was lucky enough that all our family dogs slept with me and now, of course, my two little ones and all the ones I host that like to sleep in bed too. It’s like one big slumber party, for the dogs, and well honestly, myself as well and during the winter a little extra heat. For the past 27 years I have had 4 dogs (2 of which I currently am the mother). Have personally trained them to be sociable, sweet, potty trained, and off leash doggies. Typically we go on walks throughout the day for any duration, I just read and follow what they want to do, if my older one wants to go in early I bring him in and continue with the other one. Even when I walk your dogs, I watch them to see if they need to get out more energy or still go potty and try to do my best to make sure they do before I bring them back home (sometimes my schedule or the weather does not allow the extra time, but if it does and they need it, no worries, it’s on me). In the process of an official dog training course so that I have the credentials to do train puppies and dogs on Rover soon. My passion has always been to help people and found out while doing Rover, love to help puppies and their owners too, to get the best dog for you. With consistency, patience, positive reinforcement, lots of love, talking, and more of my secret techniques we normally end up with well behaved, sociable, in the end well trained puppies and dogs. Just depends on how much time you have and what you ideally want your puppy or dog to learn and know. I have cared for puppies and my senior dogs and all the time in between. Have a very flexible schedule and would love to meet, walk, host your dog for doggy day care or to board and care for your four legged friends as if they were my own. Shhhh the dogs I host get even better service than my own dogs and my own dogs are spoiled, really spoiled. Last minute clients are encouraged and more than welcome. As it gives me a reason to keep the condo clean, daily. Love teaching puppies the way of the world. The more dogs the merrier, but if over 4 total, I enlist a friend for assistance. Every dog has unique qualities that will make things easier if I am aware in advance. Safety amd security are main considerations during my time with your dog or cat. Otherwise, if you don’t know yet, I will inform you in my rover card. We learn as we go.

About: I am very easy going I love cuddling walking and playing with the animals I am constantly petting and grooming and love giving them treats when deserved Its company, its takes away stress, fun, and loving. About: Being a bunny owner, I take a very patient approach towards each animal I am caring for. I prefer to know their habits and quirks before I begin our journey of knowing each other. I pay very close attention to each animals body language and move forwards based on that. Growing up I was extremely obsessed with my families dogs and cats. My first pet was a grey cockatiel bird that I rescued, shortly after I got my first yellow lab. Ever since, I have been very involved in taking care of many of my family or friends pets while they are away. I have taken care of extremely small puppies, fish, birds, bunnies, and cats, to nervous, and anxious big labs ! I heavily enjoy spending time next to a furry creature and I even have a bunny of my own named Diva. She has been a very long lesson in attention to attitude when it comes to handling an animal. I am more than available during the day or night to take care of any animal, I do not have a current job so I am free during awkward hours. I make sure to follow the directions my clients have left for me, I often ask more information on the personality of the animal so I understand our boundaries !

About: Throughout my life, I have always had the joy of owning pets, and my recent experience with my beloved dog, Lexi, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge after 15 wonderful years together, has left a significant void. At this moment, I am not yet ready to welcome a dog of my own, but I would love the opportunity to care for another dog, as it would greatly help me in navigating this transition. I am a caring and compassionate individual who truly loves animals. I would be more than happy to help ensure that your pets receive the attention, affection, and care they deserve, especially during times when you are unable to be with them. I have been a travel nurse for quite awhile and have decided to step back from traveling for awhile so I can be closer to home. About: Born and grew up in Elmhurst but currently live in Lombard. I have had grown up with dogs since I was 3 years old. I been working in the animal care industry the past 8 years.7 years as a kennel technician in the veterinary field.I mainly have experience taking care of dogs and cats. I will take care of your pet like my own. I have my own car and looking for work in the DuPage County area mainly. I’m currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and give whatever they need. My availability is open I have a fenced in backyard and always make the gate is locked. About: I currently have a cat of my own -Ozzy- and have cared for him for the past three years, giving me a lot of experience with feeding, keeping routines, playtime, litter box care, and paying attention to changes in behavior or mood. I previously worked at a pet store where I helped care for shelter cats up for adoption. This gave me the opportunity to work with cats with different personalities and comfort levels and taught me the importance of patience and letting each animal come to you at their own pace. In anddition, I’ve also cared for my neighbors' pets over the years, including cats, dogs, birds and rabbits while they were away. I grew up with dogs and have experience walking and caring for them, as well as growing up with hamsters and birds. While I'm not comfortable handling birds directly, I'm happy to help with basic care such as feeding and cage cleaning. Working late? I’ve got you! I work a full time office job, so my most reliable weekday availability is early mornings for check-in visits and after 4 pm for dog walks and check-ins. Rain or snow? No problem! I’m happy to get outside for your dog’s walk as long as conditions are safe for both me and your pup! I’m also available Saturday/Sunday mornings and afternoons, with evenings varying from week to week. Feel free to reach out even if your schedule doesn’t perfectly match my usual availability as I’m happy to see if we can make it work. For weekday mornings or earlier afternoon visits, I may be able to accommodate requests with a few days notice depending on the location. I’m especially flexible around the Downers Grove area. My goal is to find a schedule that works for both of us and, most importantly, keeps your pet happy and well cared for. I know how important our pets are to us, and I want you to feel confident that yours is in caring, dependable hands while you're away. I'm a calm and attentive caregiver who takes the time to learn each pet's individual personality, routine, and needs. For check-in visits, I can provide fresh food and water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and oral medication (pills only—no injections). I’ll also send you a photo and update during each visit so you know how your pet is doing. I’m mindful that I’m also a guest in your home. I clean up after myself, keep your pet’s food, toys, and supplies where they belong, and leave things as I found them. I believe clear communication is an important part of building trust, so I’ll follow your instructions carefully and let you know if I notice anything unusual with your pet. At this time, I offer check-in visits and dog walking rather than boarding.
