Looking to love your pet!
We've had three dogs since our kids were old enough. We've raised and trained pups and provided medicine to our dogs when they were sick. We like to walk them and let them out as much as possible (fenced yard, private home).

Moki had a pleasant time his first night stay at Mary and David's. Our pup can be a little shy to warm up and he got comfortable pretty quickly. He has a preference for calm/gentle people and he fit right in and David and Mary's. They have excellent communication skills and kept us up to date on Moki's visit. We are very thankful to have found a new sitter for our senior dog and plan to have Moki stay with them again. Thanks!
David and Mary were so flexible accepting my request for a family emergency and MoMo loves going to their place too

David & Mary took such good care of my dog while we were out of town, I didn't worry in the slightest!
David and Mary were very communicative throughout Bender’s stay. We were gone for a week and Bender had a difficult time adjusting and got sick. They went the extra mile to care for him by changing his diet and providing him medicine. I appreciate their efforts and for keeping me updated throughout! Would definitely recommend them for future stays!

Schedule
When I'm not traveling (we don't like to accept boarding when I am), I work from home and can provide daily walks and short intervals. Your pet will have company all day long and is welcome to hang out in my home office.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a single-family home with a fenced back yard in a quiet neighborhood. If we do leave your pet alone, we can gate them into the large kitchen/family room area (unless you prefer crating them), so that they won't be too confined.
A typical day
We have a fenced backyard for 'fetch' and I like to take walks in our neighborhood and let them explore the sights and smells. There are two parks within easy walking distance.
