About: Hi! I'm Livia, and animals have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. Over the years my husband and I have had our own four dogs, two bunnies, and two ducks (yes, really!), so "a little bit of everything" is genuinely our specialty. We don't have any pets of our own right now, which is actually one of the best things about your furry friend staying with us. Your pet gets the run of the house with no resident animals to negotiate with, which is a huge relief for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs/cats who just need room to decompress. And there's a LOT of room. Our entire downstairs is 2,000 square feet and completely open to our guests, with dog beds tucked into every room so they can pick their favorite spot. Outside is a full fenced-in acre yard: space to run, sniff, and roll around in the grass without ever needing a trip to the park. Best of all, at least one of us is home all day, every day. Your pet is never left alone and never crated (unless you'd prefer them to be crated). We're happy handling puppies still learning the rules, seniors who need a gentler pace, medications on a schedule, and nervous pets who need someone patient. And if anything ever were to come up, we're literally a two-minute drive from three different emergency vet clinics. We're looking forward to welcoming your pet! My husband and I both work from home, which is the whole reason we're able to do this so well. There's no window where the house is empty - someone is always here, in the same room (usually being used as a pillow by one of our guests!). That means your pet's routine gets to stay your pet's routine. Whatever their feeding schedule is, we'll keep it. Meds at 7am and 7pm? Done. A dog who needs a mid-afternoon nap in a quiet room, or one who wants to be outside every hour on the hour? Also fine. We're not working around a commute, so we can build the day around them instead of the other way around. You'll get a few photos and updates a day, so you can see exactly how they're settling in. And we always do a meet-and-greet before booking, so everyone (including your pet) knows who they're staying with before the first night. Our yard is a full fenced acre behind a 6-foot privacy fence, so there's serious room to run with no gaps to squeeze through. Inside, our whole downstairs (about 2,000 square feet) is open to our guests, with dog beds in every room so they can pick their preferred spot. Cats stay upstairs in their own quiet, private bedrooms with the doors closed, completely separate from any dogs. We don't have pets of our own, so nobody's defending their territory when your pet walks in. Every booking starts with a meet-and-greet, and if we're hosting more than one family at a time, new dogs meet slowly and on leash in the yard before they're ever loose together. If any pair isn't a match, they get separated. Someone is home 24/7, so your pet is never left alone. We're comfortable with medications, senior pets who need a gentler pace, and nervous ones who need time. And we're literally a two-minute drive from three emergency vet clinics if anything ever were to come up.

I have a non fenced camera covered yard with multiple anchor points for dogs to enjoy the sun and nice weather. I am able to provide temporary camera access to check on your pets also.

About: I had a dog of my own for 14 years until we had to put her down due to old age, nowadays I look for any excuse to be around doggies. I am highly qualified in going for walks, feeding, playing, giving belly rubs, and using the pooper scooper. I'm currently working part time and looking for something that is either a one time job or only for a few hours a week in order to work with my schedule, bring in some extra cash, and most importantly give your pet some love while you're away. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard, so I prefer looking after your pet in your home to ensure that no accidents happen.

About: The dogs I have taken care of have always received excellent tlc. I am able to use commands, for example sit, stay, and place! I have experience with senior dogs administering oral medication. I will keep a close eye on the geriatric dogs and make sure they don’t have any issues. I am very flexible when it comes to caring for pets. I’ll be able to get to the pets as soon as I get off of work. If I don’t work then I’ll usually be open all day. I work 7a-3p. I’m off Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Unfortunately I cannot provide boarding in my apartment because it’s a 2 pet policy. When I’m in the clients home I’ll let the pet roam freely. I will also pick up after they do their business. I feel that a dog and human bond is really unbreakable, so I will be comfortable with any pet that I connect with. I’ll also need to know where things are, I.e food, treats, leash.

About: I've owned two dogs and cared for both from puppyhood through their senior years, so I'm familiar with the different needs that come with each stage of life. My second dog also managed to get into more than a few unexpected situations, which taught me to pay close attention, stay calm, and recognize when something doesn't seem right. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I've dog sat for a number of others, each with their own personalities, routines, and preferences. I know every dog is different, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. I have semi-flexible hours and given enough notice I can make myself more available. (3 or so weeks) I always work try and work my schedule around yours. I typically work 8 hours a day and can’t usually step away to do a pop in during that time. I always strive to leave your home as you left it and your pups happy to see you arrive home again! If you need me to do house duties while I’m there I will do my best to assist with it.

About: I started taking care of dogs when I got my first dog, Lexi, at the age of 11. Leah is the sweetest most playful pup, she can just be intimidated by certain breeds and sizes* I am currently self employed, and I have lots of free time to visit with or spend extended time with your pet(s) around the clock if they need boarding or overnight sitting. I currently live in a townhome with a fenced in patio and a large, communal fenced-in field at the end of my street where dogs can safely get in some playtime. I can easily crate your fur baby in my home if necessary. My neighborhood is extremely dog friendly with lots of nature to walk around! For overnight stays and home visits, I can respect your requests for pet care and always make sure to leave the house tidied up.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and adore them as well as many other species (except snakes). I am a certified virtual dog trainer and currently accepting longer house sits. Currently, I am studying dog naturopathy and help out at Bordertails Animal Rescue. I volunteered at The Humane Society of Southern Illinois for 5 years where I exercised animals and taught them tricks, so they were more likely to be adopted... then I got really into the show, "The Dog Whisperer" and “Pitbulls & Parolees”. I I can be highly active, yet remain calm and assertive when giving commands. I practice positive reinforcement and use a no-force approach. With exercise and attention being important, I provide both (in accordance to limits and individual needs), and I will follow the rules you have in place all while loving them to pieces. I am happy to cuddle, if they're into that, and respect their pace by reading the dogs body language. I find dog psychology fascinating and by the end of 2025 I’ll have competed my Dog Training Certification program through GoodPup and be offering virtual dog training! My one rule is that I do not accept in person visits with mature pets with a history of attacking a human previously. About: We've had dogs and cats in our family for years and miss hearing the patter of paws! We treat our pets well and enjoy playtimes and grooming dogs. Either my son or I are home to be with your pet. I work part time and my son is here when I work. He is working on his master's in business and loves to walk and play with the dogs. We do not have any pets of our own at present. This is a pet friendly home and yard on a quiet cul de sac. We dog sit other family members pets at time. Dogs are welcome in most rooms of the house.
