About: I love dogs and cats! I have worked in a dog daycare and boarding facility. I have two large-medium dogs and a cat in my family. I have dog sat many times for friends, family, and for those I was babysitting for. I’m currently not working since I am a college student on break! I have tons of free time and what better way to spend it than hanging out with dogs and cats! I am free everyday and at anytime! I accept last minute requests! I unfortunately cannot board your dog/cat at my home. At your home, I would carefully keep an eye on your pet, feed it, pet it, cuddle with it, let it out for potty breaks, and spend most of my day if not the whole day if needed with your pet!
“Karina is the absolute best she takes such great good care of my cat Aster. I love all the pictures and updates throughout the booking. I would highly recommend booking with Karina”

“Luciana was fantastic! She came by on short notice to get acquainted with my two cats and my home before I had to leave unexpectedly for an emergency trip. Throughout my time away, she kept me updated on how my pets were doing and regularly sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Overall, I’m extremely happy with her care and professionalism, and I highly recommend her services.”

“I knew Abagail was the right choice for a cat sitter from the moment she conducted the meet and greet. You can tell she is clearly someone who likes cats and animals in general. She sent great daily reports and wonderful pictures so I knew Miss Delilah was in good hands. I highly recommend her services!!”

“Amazing!! Lauren watched our house for a week, picked up our mail, and fed and walked our dog everyday. She put away our groceries that were delivered to our home. We love Lauren!! We are so thankful for her flexibility and she eased our stress knowing our dog and home were taken care of while we were away. I hope you will choose her because she is amazing!!”
About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, starting with my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Today, I'm the go-to sitter my sister relies on to care for her little fluffball, whether it's for an evening away or extended vacations. I'm comfortable providing consistent, attentive care for every pet -- and following your every instruction to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy while you're away. I currently work a flexible, non-traditional schedule that includes fantasy illustration projects and teaching art classes. This gives me built-in gaps during the day that I'd love to fill with dog care, whether that means walks, playtime, or multi-day companionship. Your dog's routine and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure that your dog gets the best care possible and will follow all instructions to the letter: setting phone alarms to ensure potty breaks and meals happen right on time, monitoring treats so your dog is neither over- nor under-indulged, and sticking closely to established sleep schedules. I'm equally respectful of your home, taking care to leave it as clean and orderly (or better) than when I arrived.
About: Hi! I’ve had pets my entire life from having cats to dogs to even ferrets and hamsters and turtles, I love all animals! I was given my first pet to take care of myself when I was 6 years old and even though she was just a small ferret I found the responsibility fun and fulfilling even at a young age. I lost my dog last year so being around dogs in anyway has been such a blessing and a privilege, I miss being around mine. Caring for animals gives me a purpose I work 35 hours a week but 2 times a week from home. Since I don’t start super early or end super late I find myself finding time in the mornings and evenings available as well as weekends. Since I have dealt with so many types of animals I understand that each and every fur baby has their own unique personality and it is my job to adjust and accompany to it all while fulfilling owners requests
About: I’m a Northbrook mom of three with over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles, and more. I know how much trust it takes to let someone else care for your animals, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m the person who shows up on time, follows your instructions, and treats your pets like part of my own family. I pay attention to the little things; routines, quirks, favorite toys - so your pet feels safe and understood while you’re away. My goal is simple: you come home to a happy, relaxed pet and feel completely confident booking me again. I’m home consistently throughout the day, which means I can offer dependable check‑ins, walks, and drop‑ins without rushing or squeezing your pet into a packed schedule. I build my day around predictable routines, so your pet gets care that’s calm, consistent, and on time. In your home, I treat your space with the same respect I give my own. I lock up carefully and keep things tidy. My goal is simple: you should feel completely at ease knowing your pet is safe, understood, and genuinely cared for.
About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care and attention I give to every pet I meet. I treat every animal as if they were my own and believe that caring for your pet is a privilege and a responsibility I take seriously. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and specific needs, and I enjoy taking the time to get to know them so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs of many sizes and breeds, from very small dogs to very large dogs. I also have personal experience with shy and anxious dogs, as I helped raise and care for a dog from puppyhood who was naturally timid and nervous. Because of this, I understand the importance of patience, gentle interactions, respecting boundaries, and allowing pets to become comfortable at their own pace. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I am committed to providing personalized care and plenty of attention. I am always happy to learn about your pet’s preferences, habits, and any special instructions so I can provide the best possible experience for both you and your pet. I am currently a commuting college student and also work an on-campus job. During the school year, I typically work a few days a week from approximately 1:00 PM to 5:00–7:00 PM. Outside of those hours, I have flexibility in my schedule and am committed to providing attentive and reliable care for your pets. Until after Labor Day, I have the ability to set my own work hours, which gives me even greater flexibility and availability for pet care. I am always happy to discuss scheduling needs ahead of time to ensure I am the right fit for your pet and can provide the care and attention they deserve. In my home, I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment. I have a fenced yard for outdoor time and a home equipped with pet gates, plenty of toys, blankets, and stairs to help pets comfortably access beds and couches if allowed by their owners. I also make sure pets have plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at home while they’re with me. My priority is always making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand that every pet has different routines and preferences, and I work to make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I closely follow the owner’s instructions and routines to maintain consistency for their pet. Whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or using specific toys and supplies, I use whatever the owner has approved to provide the best possible care and make the most of our time together.
“Diana was wonderful with our two playful kitties over the holidays! She was always on time, was very communicative, and had great attention to detail. Most of all, I can tell she really cares for animals. I highly recommend her and would love to have her watch our kitties anytime!”

“Liz has been caring for our elderly dog for the past 21 months . She is 100% reliable and trustworthy. She has become our dog's best friend. He originally was my parents dog and they both had passed away. We had decided to get involved with Rover to provide a visit to shorten his time alone while we were at work. Our dog was still grieving the loss of our parents when Liz became in involved. Within just a couple of visits we all noticed that his happy and spunky personality had returned. And that relationship has maintained throughout. He became more playful with his family and his outside high activity level returned. And I know he looks forward to her visits.Over the past few months he has developed an illness and Liz has been so nurturing , attentive and comforting to our dog . I could not go to work if Liz were not coming to see him. He looks so forward to Liz being with him for companionship and comfort from a caring friend. Her empathy is enormous for our dog and us. Liz has become a part of our family and we all feel we found a true rare gem.We are so very thankful to have found Liz.”

I’ve been using Amy for a month now to let my dogs out midday. Not only does she keep an eye out on odd behavior from any of them, she’s even picked up how much one of my dogs loves alone time and gives her that extra attention. It is much appreciated knowing my dogs are being cared for each on an individual basis!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
