Walks, pet drop-ins & boarding
We have cared for our own dogs for 30+ years. Currently, we do not have any dogs of our own. Our pup, Thunder was adopted from a local shelter in 2017 but unfortunately passed away late in 2023 at the age of 14. He was our inspiration for Rover. While we haven't adopted a new pup yet, we would love to open our home to other dogs or visit your home to help you with all your pet care needs. We believe having two of us working together allows greater flexibility to care for your dog. Nikki and I both have experience with small to large dog breeds as well as senior animals. We also have two children that love dogs and will definitely provide plenty of play time with your pet if you board with us. Additionally, we have a sizeable and completely fenced-in backyard for your pet. Deerfield is a very dog-friendly community and provide daily walks. We have now been on Rover for over 6 years and have the unique opportunity to care for many dogs in our home we have also provided hundreds of dog walks and cay drop-ins for a variety of pets in their home. We can provide cuddles and basic pet care for most animals including dogs, cats, fish, reptiles and any other non-venomous animals. We both live and work in Deerfield, IL, and are very flexible with local travel to your location.

Schedule
We have been caring for various pets in our home for 30+ years. We are able to work with you on your pet's schedule, so they receive the best care possible. Aside from occasional soccer games and orchestra rehearsals, one of us is present in the house as we have a hybrid work schedule can offer bathroom breaks on any schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard as well as a multi-level home that allows plenty of space for your pet. We have dogs beds, bowls and toys, but feel free to bring your own. We don't crate dogs unless requested by owners. We do have crates if needed. Owners will be required to provide their own dog food.
A typical day
We offer dog walks and offer plenty of human interaction and cuddling. We are pet friendly with our furniture so if your pup is accustomed to sleeping on a couch we can accommodate.
