About: I love dogs and cats! I have worked in a dog daycare and boarding facility. I have two large-medium dogs and a cat in my family. I have dog sat many times for friends, family, and for those I was babysitting for. I’m currently not working since I am a college student on break! I have tons of free time and what better way to spend it than hanging out with dogs and cats! I am free everyday and at anytime! I accept last minute requests! I unfortunately cannot board your dog/cat at my home. At your home, I would carefully keep an eye on your pet, feed it, pet it, cuddle with it, let it out for potty breaks, and spend most of my day if not the whole day if needed with your pet!
About: Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted dogs to be a big part of my life. I begged my parents for one, but instead they had me start dog sitting to prove I was responsible enough. After many dog sleepovers, we finally welcomed Kirby into our family for my 12th birthday! Caring for Kirby taught me that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and loved. When I'm caring for your pet, I'll treat them like they're my own. I'll make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need, and I'll keep you updated so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'm working part time 2-3 nights per week, and have some weekend obligations. Other than that, pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I am committed to provide reliable care! I'll be paying close attention of surroundings to keep your dog safe! To assure peace of mind, I'll make it an intention to send updates after each adventure! And of course I will respect any route preferences :) When caring for pets in your home, I always follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll make sure they always have fresh water, exercise, and plenty of attention--my goal is to follow all care instructions as closely as possible. I also treat every client's home with the same respect I would my own. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free experience for both you and your pet.
About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors pets and my own for about 11 years now! I have worked with all type of dogs. From those who need meds to those who just need to hang out! I’m very flexible! From July 20th to August 7th I’ll be working a day camp from 9-3 but I am an early riser! The rest of the summer, and the weekends, I am completely free and at your disposal! At home I walk my dog, feed him, administer meds if need be and play with him! I’ve done the same for the other pets I’ve babysat for!

“Shailyn was amazing! She exceeded expectations in every way. From the get go she made it a priority to get to know me and my cat Pepper, ensuring that I felt safe leaving Pepper in her care. She was very accommodating and understanding. I would definitely recommend her to others.”

“Amazing!! Lauren watched our house for a week, picked up our mail, and fed and walked our dog everyday. She put away our groceries that were delivered to our home. We love Lauren!! We are so thankful for her flexibility and she eased our stress knowing our dog and home were taken care of while we were away. I hope you will choose her because she is amazing!!”
“Amy did a great job checking on our two cats while we were out of town. She was very attentive to the cats needs and we could tell they got lots of affection and play time during Amy’s visits. We highly recommend and plan to book with Amy in the future.”

“Paige is FANTASTIC! My dogs loved her the minute they met her. She took great care of them and communicates well. I had no worries at all going away and leaving my 2 Danes in her care! She’s definitely added to the top of our pet sitter list!”
“Leah was great! It was wonderful to have someone who overthought feeding my boys and making sure they got their medicines. One of my boys is super shy and she took the time to find his hiding spots to check on him and even sat near by to lure him out. My other guy got lots of attention as well. Leah also went beyond cat sitting to water the plants, bring in the mail and brought in the trash cans from the curb.”

“Jenny is the best. She sends adorable photos and tells me everything (good and bad) I need to know about my cat. She really takes a lot of the pressure of leaving off my shoulders and I cannot thank her enough!”

About: I’ve fostered over 50 animals and just enjoy being with animals and want to show them the world. I’ve worked with dogs from 1 month to 9 years. I will be attending the university of Tennessee this fall and I’d love either morning to afternoon work. I always communicate before bookings and will try to be as flexible as possible! I’m very patient and I’ve fostered over 50 animals so I’ve worked with all personalities and ages. I try to care for dogs like they are my own. I have a rescue who is an anxious dog so I have experience in that as well.
“We booked Viviana for multiple drop in visits for our two cats and were very impressed. She was responsive and met with us beforehand to ask detailed questions about our cats’ needs. During each visit she sent multiple photos and made sure everything was taken care of. It gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats all my life, recently worked with animals as big as horses and cows, to chickens and ducks. Friends and family trust me with their animals! My schedule is currently free, weekdays and weekends and nights! I am willing to work holidays. I will also walk in any type of weather! I have a fenced in backyard, with 2 very friend dogs for yours to play with! I do have crates (if needed) and lots of treats!
About: We've had dogs and cats in our family for years and miss hearing the patter of paws! We treat our pets well and enjoy playtimes and grooming dogs. Either my son or I are home to be with your pet. I work part time and my son is here when I work. He is working on his master's in business and loves to walk and play with the dogs. We do not have any pets of our own at present. This is a pet friendly home and yard on a quiet cul de sac. We dog sit other family members pets at time. Dogs are welcome in most rooms of the house.
About: I’m a real person who loves all animals and I’d say dogs happen to be number one in my book. I like to think I’m a dog whisperer, but nothing has been confirmed yet. I treat them just like a good friend. I love to get us both some exercise and have some fun while we’re at it! I’d love to help you out with any care needed for your loved ones. They deserve the best and I’d like to help provide peace of mind. I am open to all breeds and sizes. Cats are welcome, even other pets and insects you may have excluding one, those hissing roaches would have to be the only exclusion. Thanks for Your consideration. Happy dog care taker hunting :) I prefer to care for animals early morning before my other demands take over…but would love to get to know your pets and be flexible when needed. Well, at the moment, I only have plants that require my attention. I love animals of all sorts and would love to have some of my own, but I plan to travel and I know that getting one requires a lot of attention. Giving them up after a certain amount of time is not an option.
About: I am utterly obsessed with doggies! I have had dogs since I've been a kid and have been pet-sitting and house-sitting since I was 14. I dedicate my time pet-sitting solely to the pet, I make sure they get plenty of walks and exercise, as well as just quality time - because you don't want your pet to get lonely! I can remedy that! :-) Me and my house cat Godiva both work from home (pharmacy tech/biscuit factory), so I am available any time for you pet care needs. Just trying to make some extra cash for catnip 🌱😸 I only have a kitty right now, and she's very easy to take care of. We have a mutual understanding of respect in my home, so we get along very well. Whether it comes to dogs or cats, I make sure to not force them to do anything they don't want to do, while making sure they're safe and fed.
About: I love animals, I feel connected to them. Pets have been in my heart, life and home since I was 5 years old. I’ve walked dogs for friends, family and for elderly friends. Also, I substitute for my dog-sitter/walker friends on Rover when they aren’t available. I helped breed Yorkies at one point, and helped find them homes. I’ve fostered cats in the past and currently own one :) I am available during the day between 10am and 2pm, Monday through Friday. I work part time before and after that, but I will be as flexible as possible I do have a fenced yard. Also, I am a runner. I can walk or jog with your pup if you’d like the exercise for them.
About: I am a huge dog person! Growing up I’ve always had fur babies in my household. Additionally, I did Rover throughout college, taken care of friends and family member’s pups, volunteered at animal shelters and I now have a pup of my own! I love taking long walks and going to parks, which are located very close to my house. Would love the chance to take care of your fur babies in anyway needed! I am currently doing Rover full time so I am very available! Just let me know where/ when you may need me and I’ll make myself available! Safety and peace of mine is so important to me. Please let me know any concerns you may have an I will address them completely!
“Can’t say enough good things about Camila. Quick to respond to my request, flexible to setup a meet and greet, great with the dogs, sent pictures and was very informative about how they were doing and arrived within the agreed upon appointment time. I would absolutely recommend her and use her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Northfield
The best pet sitter. Rosy literally just saved my cat’s life, when she noticed he was not his usual self, took him to the vet, where they identified he had a urinary blockage and likely just hours to live. How lucky for us that Rosy was caring for our animals and so observant. Thank you, forever. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Northfield with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
