It made being away from them so much easier. I have also cared for my senior dog when she was terminal for a year which gave me a lot of different experiences than usual animal care. I treat every dog I see on the street like my own and always stop for pets! I am currently a nursing student looking to make extra money. The program is online so I am available often to help out with whatever you need. I understand how to do the feeding schedules, walking schedules, and daily updates for parents as I take care of my dog at home some days for my parents as well. I can easily crate your dog if needed or help with feeding. I am great at following instructions and will respect your animal and your home accordingly!

About: If my parents weren’t trying to dissuade me from my dog obsession as a kid, they had to make sure I wasn’t sneaking stray cats into the house. I’ve house sat for clients who also had cats alongside their canine siblings, with the same tedious care and affection given to them as well. I also have experience administering medication (insulin) to a diabetic cat and testing blood sugar!
About: My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. I've also loved my time volunteering at the local dog shelter where I walk, clean up after, and play with all the dogs up for adoption until they find their forever families. Also enjoyed a 6 week program at a dog shelter in Athens, Greece in 2024! I’m working part and full time depending on the week, but have most availability on weekends and later in the afternoons. Happy to do house sitting as long as the dogs can be alone for up to 6 hours on the days I work! I care for all pets as if they were my own, making sure they have all the attention and care they need and then some.

She has consistently been a prompt communicator, and she took the time to learn more details about my cats and their needs/preferences, as she wanted to make sure they were as comfortable as possible while I was away. One of my cats was very anxious when I left and didn’t want to eat or take medications, but Lisa was incredibly patient and persistent, and eventually she was able to help my cat feel comfortable enough to eat and take her meds. She provided lots of love to my cats and left my apartment in great shape, and she kept me updated every time she stopped by with info and photos/videos. I really appreciate everything Lisa did for my cats and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants top quality care for their furry friends.”

About: I have a half Australian shepherd half poodle named Luna! She’s been with me for 13 years since she was a puppy. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats since a young age and have lots of love towards them. They’re awesome and I’d love to help care for yours!
