About: I had dogs growing up and my own dog in my 20's/30's in downtown chicago. Crate trained early in my dog's life. Now, I have two loving tweens who want a dog more than anything & will do walks or anything needed. Completely fenced in backyard. Very walkable suburban blocks. Will happily comply with whatever "treats" parameters you wish, food schedule needed. We only offer Rover availability when we have the days to devote to your dog. We are home-bodies at heart. Looking for a dog to be the center of our world for the few days we can offer. Your dog will be a member of our family. Easy to get out to our backyard with our sliding door off family room. We will feed your dog in our kitchen when instructed. Your dog could sleep with 1 of us in bed unless you prefer and dog prefers to be in their own dog bed/crate etc. You let us know where you'd want him/her to be.

About: I grew up on a farm and we had dogs, cats, horses, chickens, pigs, goats and cows. I’ve been around animals all my life and my ultimate goal is to get back to farm life and have an animal sanctuary I work a full time job, and would be available on weekends for drop in visits and dog walks. I know weekends are when people want to go to dinner or a concert and they don’t want to rush home to take their dog out for a walk. I have years of experience with both cats and dogs. About: Both of my parents are veterinarians, so I’ve grown up around animals all my life! I have basic animal care skills (walks, feeding, playing) and the extra ones too (animal body language, toxic vs nontoxic foods/materials, giving medication)! About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!

I will feed, play with, walk, and spend time with your animal to make sure that they feel loved and cared for. I have no problem staying the night if your animal gets anxious without people around or making multiple visits within a single day.

About: I love all animals and treat them with the respect they deserve. Dogs are definitely my spirit animal.
