About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked at an animal sanctuary, I have worked with disabled animals, and will give your pet the attention and love they deserve. I just graduated from the university of Vermont with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, I am taking a few months off of my regular 9 - 5 to take time for myself so I have a very open schedule. There is no time too early or too late for me to come help, just let me know what works best for you and your animal. I will feed, play with, walk, and spend time with your animal to make sure that they feel loved and cared for. I have no problem staying the night if your animal gets anxious without people around or making multiple visits within a single day.

About: I’ve been living with and taking care of dogs since I could walk! In recent years, I have pet-sat for friends and family, and my family just got a new golden retriever puppy, in which I have been very involved with her training and care. I am quite open consistently this summer to take care of your pets! I spend my days working part-time and studying, leaving me with lots of time for drop-ins or house sitting. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter, working with dogs who have a wide range of behaviors and needs. I’m also on a path toward becoming a Physician Assistant, which adds to my calm, attentive, and health-focused approach. I work full-time as a medical scribe during the day (9–5), so evenings, weekends, and holidays are when I’m most available for pet care. During those times, I’m fully focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule outside of work is very flexible, so I can reliably fit in consistent visits or longer stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I take time to get to know your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries so they feel safe and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and calm companionship, and I always keep water fresh, watch for behavior changes, and send regular updates so you feel connected. About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors pets and my own for about 11 years now! I have worked with all type of dogs. From those who need meds to those who just need to hang out! I’m very flexible and am an early riser! I just work part time as a cashier but it won’t be a problem at all the schedule my work around your needs! About: Growing up I have always had 3 cats at home and have pet sitted for a little over 5 years! My clients have had a mix of dogs and cats so I have experience with both! I can do drop-in visits in the mornings and evenings to feed them, walk them, etc. But the time frame can vary depending on the pets needs and my work schedule I feed them, play with them, walk them, and change the litter boxes (cats). About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!

About: Hi there! My name is Maika, an avid pet lover from the suburbs of Chicago. I’ve had years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. We lost our own dog earlier this year, Blue, a rambunctious blue heeler & collie mix. I am very comfortable handling more “difficult” dogs since Blue was reactive to other dogs and other triggers. If your pet needs training I can be strict but loving at the same time! I am a huge believer in keeping dogs active to keep them happy and healthy, so I'm more than happy to take dogs on not only long walks, but runs or hikes too. I’ve always been a dog lover so Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to spend time cuddling and playing with some furry friends! I'm available most times during the week and weekends. I'm currently taking time off work before moving in early September so my schedule is quite open. I am not able to host dogs, but I will accommodate your pet's needs and schedule in your home. I know some pets can be stressed when their person leaves, so I am sure to keep as regular of a schedule as possible and give them extra attention to make the transition easier.
