About: I grew up in a home filled with love for animals, caring for 3 dogs and 1 cat alongside my family. Now that I’ve moved to Evanston for my master’s program, I miss having pets around and would love the opportunity to provide care and companionship to your furry family members. My experience spans handling pets of different sizes and temperaments, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-cared for. Whether it’s keeping a playful pup entertained or providing calm and patient care for older pets, I’m ready to meet their needs with love and attention. As a master’s student at Northwestern University, my classes are primarily on weekends, and I work part-time at the school library during the week. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive pet care. I want to fill my free hours with the joy and companionship that comes from caring for animals, ensuring they receive the attention and love they deserve. I live in a pet-friendly one-bedroom apartment in Evanston with my boyfriend, who also loves animals. Our home is well-suited for hosting pets, offering a safe and comfortable environment for them to stay with us. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure they have a designated space to relax, access to their favorite toys, and adhere to their regular feeding and exercise routines. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to understand their pets’ specific needs and preferences, ensuring a seamless transition and a stress-free experience for both the pets and their owners. For in-home visits, I maintain the pets’ familiar environment, following their established routines to minimize any disruption. I am attentive to each pet’s unique requirements, whether it’s administering medication, engaging in playtime, or providing companionship during their owner’s absence. My goal is to offer personalized and loving care, ensuring every pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy, whether in my home or theirs.

In the past, he has taken care of our senior bird, RC and our older dog Fig when we were traveling, and currently he makes sure that our 13 month old puppy Cookie gets her walks, food and water on time while I am working.
