I currently don’t have a dog of my own but take every opportunity to love them! I grew up with dogs, my family having more than one at a time. I have pet sat for family/friends, caring for puppies and senior dogs. I am able to handle the liveliest of dogs,I have plenty of energy to give to them! I am also experienced with different breeds of dogs, I am up for any challenge and am confident that I can work with any animal!

I am respectful of any needs communicated, and will ask any questions if I feel more information is needed. I understand that pets are family and will make sure they feel safe and loved when they are in my care! It is my priority to understand all pet’s needs and different personalities so I can give them the attention they are familiar with. Each pet is unique and I take the time to get to know them, letting them get to know me as well.

Have used as a sitter Amanda for my cat Charli since we moved to Chicago and have always been thrilled with her care for Charli! Charli is always showing her signs of comfort in photos and communication has always been clear and consistent if anything came up.
Amanda was awesome with our two boys! She took them on a nice long walk, sent great photos, and was super attentive. She also did a meet and greet beforehand which I really appreciated. We had a few plan changes while I was out of town and she was super flexible and kind about everything. Will definitely book again!

Amanda was so attentive and conscientious with all the care she gave our two cats while we were away for a week. I left extensive notes and I could tell she followed through on all the details that were important to us. She was very communicative about what was happening at each visit and used great troubleshooting strategies for administering meds when one of our cats spit out or tried to avoid her daily pill. Both cats also warmed up to her very quickly even though one of them can be pretty skittish and shy. The proof was in all the sweet photos she sent each day where they would rub against her and stretch out for "pets and scritches". It truly made us feel secure that she was giving our kitties such great care and affection. I could tell they were well cared for when we returned from our trip. We're so happy we've found a reliable sitter for our fur babies!

Schedule
I work full-time at home. I’m able to make my own hours so I can easily schedule my day. I don’t travel very often, I spend a lot of time at home with my cat and plants!
