I understand that pets are family and will make sure they feel safe and loved when they are in my care! It is my priority to understand all pet’s needs and different personalities so I can give them the attention they are familiar with. Each pet is unique and I take the time to get to know them, letting them get to know me as well.

I believe strong communication is the most important way to learn a new animal’s needs. Once you’ve given me your instructions, I will be sure to ask any questions that I feel need to be addressed in order for me to provide the best care possible.
A typical day
I will make sure your pet is properly cared for according to your instructions, but also adding a little love of my own. I have plenty of energy to give so play time will always be lively. I enjoy taking long walks no matter the weather conditions.

Pet care experience
I currently don’t have a dog of my own but take every opportunity to love them! I grew up with dogs, my family having more than one at a time. I have pet sat for family/friends, caring for puppies and senior dogs. I am able to handle the liveliest of dogs,I have plenty of energy to give to them! I am also experienced with different breeds of dogs, I am up for any challenge and am confident that I can work with any animal!

Have used as a sitter Amanda for my cat Charli since we moved to Chicago and have always been thrilled with her care for Charli! Charli is always showing her signs of comfort in photos and communication has always been clear and consistent if anything came up.
Amanda was awesome with our two boys! She took them on a nice long walk, sent great photos, and was super attentive. She also did a meet and greet beforehand which I really appreciated. We had a few plan changes while I was out of town and she was super flexible and kind about everything. Will definitely book again!
