About: Hi, I'm Kit! As a long-time animal lover with two little cats of my own, I'm more than happy to watch your pet(s) while you're away. My rates are accurate! As I'm new to Rover, I'm hoping to start growing a referral base. I've been a volunteer at animal shelters since high school, and because of that, I understand that every dog and cat has a unique personality and routine. I've gained experience with feeding and play routines, socialization, and recognizing signs of stress or illness. Whether your pet is playful and social, or shy and independent, I'm ready to adapt to their needs. I’ll make sure your baby(s) get plenty of love, attention, and playtime, and update you with all the best of it so you can travel with peace of mind! I am employed full-time in the loop. Monday through Friday, I'll be in the office from 9-5, but my early mornings and evenings belong to your pet(s)! On weekends, I'll be happy to accommodate any time you'd like. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. Since every animal has different needs and routines, I take the time to carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and household rules. No one knows your baby(s) like you! For drop-in visits and overnight stays, I aim to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while they’re away. During walks, your pet(s) safety is my top priority. I stay alert to the environment, avoid unsafe situations and interactions, and ensure your pet(s) are secure at all times. My goal is to treat every home respectfully and every pet like they’re my own!

About: i’ve been taking care of plants and animals for my friends and neighbors since i was watering my neighbors gardens and feeding their chickens. i grew up in los angeles, where a shocking amount of people in my community kept livestock as pets! i’ve been taking care of cats, dogs, parrots, pigs, and chickens since i was 13 years old. im stage/photo a hair/makeup artist by trade when im not working towards my teaching degree. i love taking long walks, and having a buddy who is thrilled to be outside with me is the best. I’m in school from 10AM into the afternoon 4 days a week, but have plenty of time off fridays and on the weekends. i also only do a half day on tuesdays and thursdays! i like getting up early, it makes me feel productive! Animals aren’t like people! they communicate differently, so taking my time and looking for visual feedback on comfort is a priority. i work with animals of any temperament. i believe communication with the family is important in understanding how to make your fluffy (or not) family member feel most comfortable while you’re away.

About: I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. I've had Labs (I currently have a Golden/Lab mix named Joey! He has ALL of the Golden retriever energy), Greyhounds (RIP sweet Gloria and Cougar!), Austrailian shepherds, and German shepherds as my own and/or family pets, and am very comfortable with high energy, big breeds. I love giving extra smart dogs some fun mental challenges to keep them occupied, and of course am happy to rub bellies for as long as the dog requests. I love the high energy and silly quirks of smaller dog breeds too! I've house sat and cared for animals off and on for over a decade, but have just recently reactivated my Rover profile and am looking to accept new clients. I work part time as a yoga instructor, and homeschool my kiddos. My schedule is VERY flexible, and I am often able to pick up day-of requests. I've a Type-A scheduler too though, so I love some advanced notice! I can't imagine my life without pets and feel strongly that a home just doesn't feel like a home without pets. I will treat your pets just like a family member, because that's exactly who they are! I love specific requests, and accomodating exactly what your pet is used to so they don't feel lonely or confused.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, so caring for animals has always been a big part of who I am. I currently own two dogs and have plenty of hands-on experience with daily pet care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and giving animals the attention and patience they need to feel comfortable and safe. I understand that every pet has a different personality, and I always aim to make them feel cared for, happy, and loved. My schedule is very flexible right now, so I have wide availability for walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the week. Since I am currently between jobs and looking for part-time work, I am able to be available during many daytime, evening, and weekend hours. I am happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that is reliable and convenient for them. Creating a safe, calm, and caring environment is very important to me when looking after pets. Both of my dogs are rescues, and one has experienced abuse and struggles with anxiety, which has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and building trust with animals. I always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and treated with kindness so they can feel secure and well cared for.

About: I have spent big part of my childhood in a farm village taking care of many different animals. We've always had cats and dogs in our home and I love interacting with them! Now farm days are gone but my love for animals has always been a part of me. I am longing for more time and interactions with them. More time spent with animals equals more happy moments for them and for me too! I would love to pass this worldview to my kids by introducing them to different pets and feel like Rover would be a good way to do so. My experience is not limited to cats and dogs, I can help with all pets! I have individual approach to each pet depending on size, health, age and exercising they need or any specific requirements. I also provide drop-in visits for playing, feeding, walks, etc. I will strictly follow your instructions and respect your preferences. I am an early bird and morning walks or visits are more than welcome. House sitting appointments would require some time in advance for booking. First and foremost I make sure all pets are healthy and happy. They will get appropriate exercise, frequent walks and potty breaks. Playing and training, treats and smiles. I will keep them company and soothe them with some snuggles.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and am always the first choice when friends need someone to watch their animals. I have been around all sorts of animals my whole life and I am also very dedicated to any job that comes my way. Not only will I be great company for your pet, but I will also work my hardest. I am very flexible this summer and am willing to work on a moments notice if need be! I also have a car and don’t mind driving! I have been around animals my whole life, from dogs to horses, so bonding with animals is very easy for me. Bonding and spending time with pets is my number one priority, as well as, of course, making sure their needs are met. About: I grew up with 3 Goldens so I have plenty of experience and skills with different ages and energy levels! I will take your dogs on long scenic walks to parks and on different trails, and I am able to run them if that is something they like to do. I have also been a sitter for 4 Paws for Ability which is a service dog in training program, therefore I have skills pertaining to all different breeds and personalities. My calendar is very flexible so I’m happy to take care of or watch your pup any time - short or long term. They can stay with me or I can go to them! I have my own home which they are welcome to wander around and make themselves comfortable. I live in a residential area so your dog will be very safe with me!

About: I cared for my Yorkshire Terrier, Polly, in my family home, and we had a close bond, from daily walks to playful moments. Now that I’ve moved to the US and my husband, a PhD student at Northwestern U, has an allergy, we can’t have a dog, but I really miss being around pets and would love to spend time with yours. With my experience, I prioritize small dogs. While I don’t have an experience living with cats, I’m eager to learn and will do my best to give them all my care. I’m excited to walk, play, and give your pet the attention they deserve while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday through Friday, so I am available on weekends. But I can also help on a Friday night if you contact me in advance. I’m unable to care for pets at my place due to restrictions and my husband’s allergy, but I would be happy to provide pet care at your location. I’m fully prepared to follow any specific instructions regarding your pet's care, feeding, grooming, and playtime routine. I respect each pet's boundaries and approach them with patience and understanding. For walks, I always prefer keeping them on a leash to ensure their safety.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, fishes, rabbits, hamsters, even horses. As the older sister with 2 full time working parents I always took care of the animals. I am now in college and don’t have any pets and I miss taking care of them. I know how to put on snow boots on dogs if they need it when it gets cold. I can bathe and brush their teeth. If your pet requires any special care I will be able to provide it and would love to do so! I have a few classes a day but am able to take care of pets throughout the day and night. Monday and Wednesday are the only days that I have longer classes. But the rest of the week I only have 1 class a day for 1.5 hours and am free the rest of the time. I am able to provide any care for pets in my client’s home that is necessary. I can walk, play with, bathe and do anything else your pet needs.

I grew up with 3 dogs of different breeds and personalities, and often house-sat for my family members' pets, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. I am passionate about creating a safe, enriching environment for your pet and reinforcing the routines your family has to keep them healthy and happy. Additionally, I am experienced in taking care of senior dogs and cats, and I love helping young animals learn new skills and habits. I'm currently finishing up my spring quarter and am free on weekends, 8:00 am to 9:30 pm, or for overnight sitting when preferred.
