About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 13, and watching dogs since I was 10! I love all animals, of all sizes and temperaments! I’m currently working about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings, as well as Sunday/Monday completely free! My roommates currently foster cats with chronic illnesses, that are kept in their room and away from any possible visitors! We have plenty of space, and lots of access to good walking routes.
About: I have had a variety of pets and have cared for a variety of animals (dogs, cats, birds and a turtle). A variety of breeds and ages. I am available most weekdays after 4pm. I am available most Saturdays in the AM and PM. I also am available Sunday afternoons and evenings. I make sure my dog has plenty of food and fresh water throughout the day. I take her outside to go to the bathroom in the morning and right when I come home. I take her on a walk. I play and cuddle with her a lot.
“Andrew was the best cat sitter! We’re always a little nervous going out of town leaving our elderly cat at home. Andrew is a great communicator, and we felt our cat was in good hands. We would not hesitate to rebook with Andrew the next time we need a cat sitter.”

“This is the fourth time we’ve had Brenda watch our cats. She has been professional reliable, and responses. We will definitely be having her watch the cats again; thanks Brenda.!”

“Parisa was an absolute angel. Our beloved pet rabbit became sick while we were out of town, and she immediately stepped in to provide emergency care without hesitation. Her compassion, attentiveness, and genuine love for animals truly saved our little one’s life. We are forever grateful for what she did. she went above and beyond in every way imaginable. It’s rare to find someone as kind and dedicated as Parisa, and we can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. She’s simply amazing”

About: I'm a dog walker and cat sitter for a professional service - this is for anyone seeking services outside of their Uptown/Andersonville/Edgewater service area! Beyond extensive experience walking reactive dogs, I'm a longtime cat foster and shelter volunteer, and I'm experienced giving medications of all sorts. I currently work from home on my consulting business, so I can pretty easily arrange my schedule around any pet visits and walks. I have a car, and can also bike or take transit. I have a separate space in my home for foster animals and temporary pet guests. Your pet would have access to their own space, comfy spots to hang out, and plenty of visits and attention.
“faith went above and beyond taking care of my kitties while i was on vacation! she made sure to send lots of cute photos and did all that was asked of her! I didn't feel nervous at all knowing they were in such good hands. would definitely hire again!!! :)”

About: Worried that your fury babies won’t get enough attention they deserve? I only accept bookings from one family at a time to make sure your babies receive all the attention and care in the world! Before joining Rover I have built multiple long-term relationships with many paw babies and pet owners like you. I’m excited to share my love for animals through looking after your babies when you are busy. I have experiences taking care of puppies and senior dogs and can also administer medication. I have a dog of my own, named North and I am open to any special requests regarding your paw baby🩷 I mostly work from home, I go to work once or twice a week in person but either me or my partner will always be available. So your paw babies are never left alone. I typically give walks 4-5 times a day, and make sure your paw babies are well taken care of. :) I live in an apartment and have a bunch of parks and dog beaches at walking distance from my apartment. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and watch them explore the area. Seeing how happy they are really makes my day! My apartment requires two doors to enter or leave the building so your babies will for sure be safe. If that’s not enough, I also keep my doors locked at all times!
About: Started feeding Molly, my first dog, when I was around 1 y.o. Enjoyed the clear and honest communication. Taken close care of Yorkshire terriers, Labradors, Llaso Apsos, and Golden Retrievers. Taken close care of nearly kittens that grew to 8 pound short-hair little dudes to 10 - 25 pound long-haired girls. Well acquainted with the patience and personalities from stubborn to goofballs and grumpy munchers. Intermittently work part-time, which gives me afternoons and early evenings a available to give your pets a consistent schedule and some social time when you are away from home. Greet them in a way that they are comfortable. This may involve few minutes before tasks like getting the lease, cleaning/replacing hygienic items, and/or feeding. Especially early on, I may just be sitting near them on the floor.
About: I have always had a love for animals especially dogs. I’ve had opportunities to train puppies and be around senior dogs. I currently have 1 dog of my own who I rescued during COVID. I work full time during the week. But I am looking to pick up some extra dog walking hours in the evenings and or weekends . When I’m caring for your pet I will care for them as if they were my dog. No need to worry if they’re being giving all the love attention they deserve.
About: I have a lot of experience in caring for animals, because since childhood I had animals at home, I dreamed of being a veterinarian, but chose a different profession. I have two dogs and a cat. I treat animals like children, or better) Your pet will be happy with the time spent with me! I work from home and can take care of your baby in the evenings or on weekends. If within walking distance of my home, up to 3 times a day. I can coach base teams if desired, or just play, whatever you prefer and your dog likes, just tell and I will figure out ;)
About: I have had dogs all my life for the most part and 3 cats. Also I baby sit a lot so I’m used to handling multiple animals/babies at a time I work from home so it’s not hard for me to devote a lot of energy towards taking care of pets. I have a dog and we go in walks while im taking work calls. Perfect work life balance My dog is always with me as previously mentioned . Wherever I go she goes. She’s very loved and cared for and of course fed well
About: I am a dog mom of one, but have had dogs my entire life. My dog Moose is deaf and lives with MG, so I have practice with special needs dog. I have experience with dog walks, dog drop-ins, as well as long and short term experience with dog sitting. When working with dogs, I love them as much as I love my own. I know they might be a little nervous having someone new in their home, or taking them on a walk, so I take it as slowly and calmly as they need. In the end, I would want only the best for my dog, so I plan on doing the same for yours. I’m currently working a job where I have to be at work 8-4 OR 9-5 depending on the day! Depending on location, I can bop over for a lunch break to let the dog out if they need some extra love in between! I welcome dogs in so they feel at home. With my dog, we allow him on the furniture and he sleeps in our bed. We also respect if that is not the standard for your dog, and will follow whatever rules you feel most comfortable with. I live in an apartment in a gated community with 2 dog parks and lots of room to walk around and explore.
About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, so caring for animals has always been a big part of who I am. I currently own two dogs and have plenty of hands-on experience with daily pet care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and giving animals the attention and patience they need to feel comfortable and safe. I understand that every pet has a different personality, and I always aim to make them feel cared for, happy, and loved. My schedule is very flexible right now, so I have wide availability for walks, drop-ins, and pet care throughout the week. Since I am currently between jobs and looking for part-time work, I am able to be available during many daytime, evening, and weekend hours. I am happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that is reliable and convenient for them. Creating a safe, calm, and caring environment is very important to me when looking after pets. Both of my dogs are rescues, and one has experienced abuse and struggles with anxiety, which has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and building trust with animals. I always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and treated with kindness so they can feel secure and well cared for.

About: Hi! I'm Megan, and I am a dog lover. :) While I have family members with allergies who have prevented me from having dogs of my own, I have dog sat for 6+ years and have also babysat for families with dogs for 7.5 years. While I didn't grow up with dogs in my own home, I have owned 2 hamsters, 3 guinea pigs, as well as numerous fish throughout my life, starting when I was just 3-years-old! I understand the attentive and diligent care pets need, and I can guarantee I will exceed your expectations! I truly have a love for dogs, and I would love to love and care for your pups! I dream of the day I can own my own golden doodle :) I work a hybrid internship, so I have flexibility with caring for your dogs. My availability also reflects when I can be attentive to caring for your dog(s). :) I will be very diligent when walking/taking care of your dogs by only taking them through safe areas and ensuring that they are out of harm's way.

Liz is the best! My two furkids love her, and she always keeps me informed on how they’re doing. It’s very reassuring while you’re away knowing that your kiddos are not only in good hands, but in the hands of someone you know really cares for them. Highly recommend!

Yimei went above and beyond when she watched our American Bully. Our dog is shy and timid when walking. We booked Yimei for 3 drop-in visits per day for 6 days. Yimei was able to get our bully exercise for the full hour and also give her oral meds and ear wash. Will book again!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Tinsley to take care of our dogs. She started walking and looking after our four-year-old Goldendoodle, Stella, and our new Bernedoodle puppy, Harper. From day one, it was clear that Tinsley genuinely loves dogs and treats them as if they were her own. Stella and Harper both adore her, and Tinsley has been wonderful in helping Harper adjust as a young puppy. She is reliable, attentive, caring, and always keeps us updated on how the dogs are doing. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our dogs are in the hands of someone who truly cares about their happiness and well-being. We highly recommend Tinsley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker. Stella and Harper are always excited to see her, and that says everything!

Alex was great! He was very communicative and took good care of my dog and kitty, including giving the dog his daily medicine and brushing my kitty. I even had a plumbing issue occur while I was away, and Alex let me know right away and did some quick clean up before the plumber could arrive.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
