About: My cousin goes out of town often, so I would stop by her house to check on her dogs (feeding, playing, taking them out for walks, and changing out the pee pads). I also helped care for my roommate’s dogs/puppy. Additionally, I’ve volunteered for dog walks from a local dog shelter! I love taking dogs on walks and hikes to keep them active! I’m a nurse, so I only work 3 nights a week (7pm-7:30am). I have more than half the week available to walk/play/take care of your pets! This also means I am available in the mornings after a shift, as well. Although my work nights vary weekly, I am more than happy to coordinate our schedules that work best for you :) I live close to a lot of forests, trails, and parks, so your pup will have a wonderful time staying active outdoors! I am very attentive to details and will adhere to specific dietary needs!

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember! I have worked in an animal shelter and vet clinic as a veterinary assistant caring for a variety of animals. I have had the privilege of fostering 100 animals (mostly neonatal and orphaned kittens!). I currently have three cats and an 18 year old Crested Gecko. Two of my cats are fosters that never left- both have cererbellar hypoplasia, or better known as wobbly cat syndrome! I have pet sat for many kinds of animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs and reptiles. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! Please note: I do not use flexi/retractible leashes to ensure safety. I am happy to bring my own slip lead or standard leash. Please, let me know if you have questions! I work from home and have a flexible schedule! I typically have afternoons and weekends free. About: I love making friends with doggies and cats. i love taking picture of them while spoiling them with their favorite toys, treats, couches and so on. I am currently a graduate student at Northwestern University and work part time on digital marketing consulting. I have very flexible schedules and home most of the time. i have a large fenced in backyard and I love taking dogs for a nice long walks! I love spoiling them with all the comfy beds/chairs and treats!

About: I love animals deeply and treat all pets like my own. Family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors have always felt safe leaving their animals in my care. Plenty of free time as I have just moved back from London completing my masters and taking this summer off and would preferably spend it with more animals! Caring for pets is a natural part of my routine—I’ve always made space in my life for animal companionship (even as I was abroad). Whether it’s morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening cuddles, I genuinely love making animals feel safe and loved throughout the day. In the home of my clients I will always look out for choking hazards and ensure I see the animals in my care drinking water. I approach each pet's care with attention to their routine, personality, and comfort. I follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, keep their environment clean/enriched, and make sure they have companionship and mental stimulation. Clear communication with pet parents helps me tailor care to each animal’s unique needs.

About: You are working late for the peak season or you may need to travel for several days. You are worrying about your furry friend at home who has been indoor and alone all day long. Worrying about if they eat or drink or pooped yet. Worrying about if they run out of home or not. This is something I'd worry about my cats and dogs when I'm out for work. Every day I would spend some time with my pets to play, train, and talk with them. The more I communicate with pets, the more they'd understand me, including my orders and requests. I'd do the same with your dog as well! Talk with your dog, understand he/she's feeling. This would really help to build a relationship with your pet! If they like jogging or fetching, we can definitely do more on that! Keep every dog in a healthy shape, lose weight and gain more muscle. Or if they prefer to get some belly rubs or do some training, that would be my pleasure to serve as well~ I will bring a water bottle with filtered water (if your dog only drinks with the bottle he/she familiar with, it would be great if you would share it with me during the walk) After each exercise, I will make sure to keep your dog hydrated, and give some treats for awards. I will also take some videos and photos for you to see how he/she is doing! Tell me more about your dog, let me know what he/she likes/don't likes to do. Let me know him/her ahead of time would help me to do my job.

I work freelance, which gives me a flexible schedule and lets me plan my day around your pet’s routine. Whether you need walks, drop-ins, longer stays, or last-minute help, I do my best to make it work! Since I have a flexible schedule, I appreciate a little flexibility in return! Rover sometimes allows bookings at overlapping times, so my schedule can fill up quickly. I may occasionally ask for a little wiggle room or see if we can adjust visit times to account for travel between clients. I’ll always communicate with you and do my best to make things work for everyone! A quick note about availability:Tuesdays, I’m available before 3:30 PM, and Thursdays, before 4 PM. Weekend rates: My rates are a little higher on weekends since I try to leave myself some time to rest and recharge, too! I know plans can change, though, so I’m always happy to see what I can do when something comes up. I appreciate your understanding as I balance caring for your furry friends with a little downtime of my own! Whether I’m caring for your pet during walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, their safety and comfort are always my priority. I politely ask that all clients have a fully completed and updated profile with recent photos of their pets, information about their personality, routine, behavior, and any special needs, as well as some information about themselves. This helps me feel more comfortable and confident accepting a booking and gives me a better understanding of you and your pet beforehand. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, or just keeping them company. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and comfortable in their own home while you’re away.

About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!

About: Enthusiastic and engergetic dog sitter. I love dogs. I love taking them to dog parks and on long walks in the forest preserve by my house. I've had dogs my whole life and always have taken great care of them to make sure they have a happy and fulfilled life. My most recent dog is a Collie named Buehrle with lots of energy. He loves to go for runs in fields and play with other dogs at the dog beach.

About: Student with open availability and many years of dog care experience. I used to care for my own small dog and on occasion my friends two puppies or currently my friends pit-bull and cat pictured. I love all animals but dogs are my favorite. I care for dogs just as I care for humans because they aren't just animals they are family. I treat my family with the upmost respect and tend to their ends as they come. Your dog and cat will be well taken care of not just because it is my responsibility but because it is something I enjoy. Playing, exercise, feeding, nap time, etc are all things I enjoy to do with dogs and any other special services your dog may require is completely welcome as well. I am a dog person 100% I am available in the early mornings and evenings after 5pm with open availability on the weekends. Otherwise I am working or completing my daily commute throughout the city of Chicago I will follow the care instructions provided by the owner in their home. I will conduct my job in a safe efficient manner. I will stay on task and provide your pet my full attention. When job is complete I will leave and if I have any issues I will always keep communication open and flowing with the owner.

About: I have always had a love for animals especially dogs. I’ve had opportunities to train puppies and be around senior dogs. I currently have 1 dog of my own who I rescued during COVID. I work full time during the week. But I am looking to pick up some extra dog walking hours in the evenings and or weekends . When I’m caring for your pet I will care for them as if they were my dog. About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 13, and watching dogs since I was 10! I love all animals, of all sizes and temperaments! I’m currently working about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings, as well as Sunday/Monday completely free! My roommates currently foster cats with chronic illnesses, that are kept in their room and away from any possible visitors! We have plenty of space, and lots of access to good walking routes.
