Pets are our family and that’s exactly how I treat them; respect and love. I have administered medications and trained my own two dogs who are 11years old. My husband works from home so it makes pet sitting easier so your fur babies always have someone around. I will treat your pets like my own animals. I hope to meet your pet very soon! I work from home during the week, so my schedule is pretty flexible! For drop-in visits and walks, I’m available after 4pm on weekdays and anytime during weekends. During our meet and greet, we can discuss all the ins and outs of your pets needs! Depending on the service, how I care for your pet in your home is variable. Dog walking includes 25 minutes outside, and 5 minutes inside for a little time to refresh their water, and playtime, or cuddle time, depending on what your dog is feeling! Cat visits inside, I tend to go by what one communicates during our meet and greet. Usually it will include cuddles, water refresh, and/or playtime. I will always take my shoes off, and double check to see if I locked your door correctly! :)

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, mostly chihuahuas and rescues, so I’m very comfortable with pups who need a little extra patience, reassurance, or understanding. My hands-on experience goes far beyond casual pet care. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. This gave me a strong foundation in obedience training, reading body language, and supporting dogs with different temperaments. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter, working with dogs who have a wide range of behaviors and needs. There, I’ve assisted with medication administration, training sessions, enrichment, and helping nervous or high-energy dogs feel more comfortable and confident. I’m also on a path toward becoming a Physician Assistant, which adds to my calm, attentive, and health-focused approach. Your pet will be treated with patience, structure, and plenty of affection. I work full-time as a medical scribe during the day (9–5), so evenings, weekends, and holidays are when I’m most available for pet care. During those times, I’m fully focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule outside of work is very flexible, so I can reliably fit in consistent visits or longer stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I take time to get to know your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries so they feel safe and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and calm companionship, and I always keep water fresh, watch for behavior changes, and send regular updates so you feel connected. If I’m hosting in my home (or doing extended stays), I make sure pets have a quiet, clean space to settle in, regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and a consistent routine. Safety is a top priority, doors secured, no access to anything unsafe, and lots of supervised time. Whether I’m in your home or mine, your pet gets patient, reliable care with the goal of making them feel comfortable, understood, and well-loved.

About: Having personally had Pitbulls and Catahoulas, and successfully help rescuing an abused, aggressive American Bully, i have a natural comfort level with powerful breeds and reactive dogs. "Spicy" behavior or hardcore barking doesn’t intimidate me. Over the years, I’ve learned to quickly pick up on body language and have gone through formal training courses with my own dogs, which taught me how to read and simmer down a stressed pup naturally. Something that I notice when walking my own dogs is that sometimes people don’t always have a sense of awareness of their surrounding relative to their dog’s behaviors and that can be frustrating to other dog owners. I’m someone that keeps my head on a swivel. I am highly aware of my surroundings and will intentionally alter routes to avoid triggers like other dogs, bikes, or crowds. This proactive situational awareness keeps your pup calm, safe, and stress free. Most importantly, I’ve never met a dog that I didn’t treat like my family. I am definitely guilty of giving one…or two…extra treats (unless you explicitly tell me not to, of course). I’m a “diet starts tomorrow” kind of guy. As long as I have notice, I should be pretty easy to schedule. I live in Lincolnwood, but have an office in Wrigleyville where I spend a vast majority of my day editing photography and video for my production company (YES! I do take photos of pets!) As long as I have some sort of notice, I’ll usually be able to get to a stopping point and get over to your house fairly quickly. Put simply, people who treat dogs like pets and not family weird me out a little lol. Dogs aren’t just pets, they’re a member of your family and they will be treated as such.

About: My house has always been filled with pets! My entire life I have never had less than two pets in the house, currently owning three cats and one dog. Being brought up in a household like this has allowed me to gain natural skills in pet care, with those skills becoming second nature today. Pet care is not something I can consider a job, as it is too much of a personal passion! I’m currently a college student working towards a career in wildlife rehabilitation, hoping to continue caring for animals. I am experienced with pets of all ages and can ensure that your pets will not only be safe and cared for, but loved and cherished as my own! I am currently a college student on summer break, allowing me much availability over the next few months! While I am working one other job, it is part-time and I will remain available on days I am working. I offer services that involve pet care outside of my personal household. Any instructions given to me for the particular household will be thoroughly followed with immense care.

About: I had a dog as a child and a couple of cats and took care of friends’s and neighborhood dogs and cats over the years for fun I currently work as a freelancer. I am available most evenings for walks. Sometimes I available for late morning walks too and possibly pet sitting at the owner’s residence. Currently I am able to just walk dogs. My condo association doesn’t allow pets, but my parents have a fenced back yard and may let me use their yard from time to time

About: Going out of town? Your dog will love our friendly Evanston home located near Lake Michigan beaches and forest preserves. We provide weekly adventures such as trips to the dog beach and pooch park, walks in the neighborhood, playtime in our fenced in backyard, and lots of love and attention. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs in my family since I was born. I grew up in rural areas in the Midwest, and we always had at least one family dog of varying breeds. When I became an adult, I got a black lab puppy from my sister, who had rescued its mother while it was pregnant. I became very interested in dog training, reading any books I could get my hands on and applying their techniques. My lab, Asia, became the gentlest, most well-trained dog most people had ever met. We lost her at age 13; since then, we have always had a lab as a family pet and we have taken care of countless other breeds. About my yard We have a fenced back yard--it is a 6 foot fence around the perimeter with a 5 foot chain link fence between our yard and our friendly neighbor's yard. There is an open area where the dogs can roam freely, a concrete patio, and a vegetable garden that lines one side of the house between our yard and our neighbor's yard. Dogs are supervised by an adult when they are in our yard--we do not leave them unattended. The majority of your dog's outdoor time will be spent on walks and outings. I am a teacher, so I have weekends and holidays off. In addition, I have 2 young adults and a teen living with me who often help by cuddling and playing with our clients. We do not crate our clients unless upon request. Dogs are free to lounge on beds or furniture. No dog likes to be left behind, but we will do our very best to ease your pup's stress. I have over many years of pet boarding and training experience.

About: I cared for my Yorkshire Terrier, Polly, in my family home, and we had a close bond, from daily walks to playful moments. Now that I’ve moved to the US and my husband, a PhD student at Northwestern U, has an allergy, we can’t have a dog, but I really miss being around pets and would love to spend time with yours. With my experience, I prioritize small dogs. While I don’t have an experience living with cats, I’m eager to learn and will do my best to give them all my care. I’m excited to walk, play, and give your pet the attention they deserve while you’re away! I currently work full time Monday through Friday, so I am available on weekends. But I can also help on a Friday night if you contact me in advance. I’m unable to care for pets at my place due to restrictions and my husband’s allergy, but I would be happy to provide pet care at your location. I’m fully prepared to follow any specific instructions regarding your pet's care, feeding, grooming, and playtime routine. I respect each pet's boundaries and approach them with patience and understanding. For walks, I always prefer keeping them on a leash to ensure their safety.
