I am passionate about the well-being of animals and the peace of mind of their owners. I spend most of my time at home, which allows me to provide consistent care and maintain pets’ routines. I am available daily and can adapt to their feeding, rest, and companionship schedules. On Sundays, I attend church, and on some weekdays I may be out in the afternoon for short periods, always planning ahead to ensure pets are comfortable and well cared for. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets. I keep spaces organized and free of hazards, always respecting their feeding, rest, and play routines. I supervise pets constantly and make sure they have fresh water, a comfortable place to rest, and attention according to their needs. My priority is for them to feel safe, cared for, and at home.

“Five stars and two paws up! Isa has an eye for detail, professional demeanor, and is easy to communicate with. She’s super responsible with my pup and I highly recommend her :-)”

About: I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. I've had Labs (I currently have a Golden/Lab mix named Joey! He has ALL of the Golden retriever energy), Greyhounds (RIP sweet Gloria and Cougar!), Austrailian shepherds, and German shepherds as my own and/or family pets, and am very comfortable with high energy, big breeds. I love giving extra smart dogs some fun mental challenges to keep them occupied, and of course am happy to rub bellies for as long as the dog requests. I love the high energy and silly quirks of smaller dog breeds too! I've house sat and cared for animals off and on for over a decade, but have just recently reactivated my Rover profile and am looking to accept new clients. I work part time as a yoga instructor, and homeschool my kiddos. My schedule is VERY flexible, and I am often able to pick up day-of requests. I've a Type-A scheduler too though, so I love some advanced notice! I can't imagine my life without pets and feel strongly that a home just doesn't feel like a home without pets. I will treat your pets just like a family member, because that's exactly who they are! I love specific requests, and accomodating exactly what your pet is used to so they don't feel lonely or confused.
About: At 13 years old I started a pet sitting service so that I didn't have to babysit humans, best decision ever! Besides taking care of other's fur babies, I also have had my own, both dogs and cats. Over the years I have taken care of several different breeds of dogs ranging in all ages including ones that needed special care. My love and passion for animals has been a huge part of me since I can remember. You'll be able to rest easy knowing that when I am taking care of your pet I will ALWAYS treat him or her exactly as I would my own. I will love your fur babies and keep them safe until you get back. I have a consistent Monday-Friday work schedule and I work in the area so I can easily and reliably accommodate doggy walks and morning/evening drop-ins. I'm available most weekends and enjoy spending my free time outside so having an animal companion would fit in seamlessly! I am reliable, respectful and I have a genuine love for all animals, dogs and cats especially! When doing drop-ins I will be respectful of your home and follow any rules or guidelines without exception. I will give your fur babies all my love and attention, and keep them safe until your return.
About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was 15. I am loving and outgoing which makes dog walking and sitting great for you and your four-legged friends. Pets are our family and that’s exactly how I treat them; respect and love. I have administered medications and trained my own two dogs who are 11years old. Looking forward to meeting your dogs and taking care of them! My work schedule is very flexible. I am hybrid but I pick which days I go in and which days I’m home. My husband works from home so it makes pet sitting easier so your fur babies always have someone around. I will treat your pets like my own animals. I can take them to the dog park, play with them, feed them and provide them with lots of love.
About: I’ve always loved animals! I’ve had jobs (paid and volunteer) in animal shelters, pet sat for various friends and neighbors, and fostered dogs at different points in my life. At the moment I have one very spoiled cat due to the added responsibility of raising 3 children. However, I created this Rover profile because I’d love to have more animal interactions in my life! I work from home full time and I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule . It’s easy for me to pop out and visit your pet and/or take your dog for a walk during the day when you’re at work or out of town. I am willing to take into account any instructions you give me as far as walking, feeding, grooming, and playing with your pet. I know how hard it is to leave our furry family members and I’d love to give you peace of mind that your pet is getting the best care possible.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Skokie
First time using Rover and I have full confidence in Claire C. I have a senior dog with health issues so I’m always concerned but Claire allows me to relax and focus on my job. Her communication is perfect and ability to adjust to dogs needs are fantastic. I appreciate her. Highly recommend.

Trisha was a huge help during a week where we needed a temporary dog walker. She came every day, had great communication, and no issues sorting out logistics with our two dogs. She immediately connected with them and seemed to very much understand their personalities. All of her daily updates made me laugh and it was wonderful knowing they were in good hands. I would not hesitate to ask her help again in the future!
Alondra is truly amazing. This was my first time leaving my fur baby with someone other than my parents, so I was naturally a bit anxious. Alondra came to our home to meet us and spend time with Olaf, and he took to her right away—which immediately put me at ease. On the first day, our tenants let us know that Olaf seemed distressed, yawning excessively and howling. He’s just not used to being alone. I quickly arranged for a friend who lives nearby to pick him up, and reached out to Alondra to see if she could adjust the pick up/ drop-off location. Without hesitation, she agreed. That level of flexibility and care really showed her commitment to making sure Olaf was safe and comfortable. Thank you so much, Alondra!

Yeva was truly the best I could have hoped for for my dog. She was attentive, patient, and very caring from the very beginning. Basya felt comfortable with her right away, which is very important to me. Yeva paid attention to her needs, kept a calm and gentle approach, and made sure she was safe and well taken care of. I really appreciated her communication and the way she handled everything with such care and responsibility. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and genuinely kind with animals.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
