About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, starting with my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Today, I'm the go-to sitter my sister relies on to care for her little fluffball, whether it's for an evening away or extended vacations. I'm comfortable providing consistent, attentive care for every pet -- and following your every instruction to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy while you're away. I currently work a flexible, non-traditional schedule that includes fantasy illustration projects and teaching art classes. This gives me built-in gaps during the day that I'd love to fill with dog care, whether that means walks, playtime, or multi-day companionship. Your dog's routine and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure that your dog gets the best care possible and will follow all instructions to the letter: setting phone alarms to ensure potty breaks and meals happen right on time, monitoring treats so your dog is neither over- nor under-indulged, and sticking closely to established sleep schedules. I'm equally respectful of your home, taking care to leave it as clean and orderly (or better) than when I arrived.

About: My daughter and I have been boarding dogs for years and love it, we really focus on one families pet at a time so we give him/her our full love and attention. We will take up to 2 dogs at a time. We love to walk and play with the dogs. We have a large fully enclosed back yard in addition to a park at the end of our block we can walk dogs around a large walking path. We text photos and funny videos of us with your pet. My daughter is off to college this year and this will assist her school fund. We love these dogs as if they were our own. WE love taking care of pets, We love staying active walking and playing with the dogs. We will not take dogs if we do not have time for them. I have an enclosed back yard that is perfect for active dogs to chase birds and have a bit of an area to run free. We do walk the dogs to our local park at the end of our block.

About: I am a life-long animal lover that turned that love into a career after moving into my home with a fenced yard. I have experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I purchased my home with my dogs in mind as I've got a fenced yard and I wanted to make sure that they had plenty of room to run around. Your dog will be treated like family while they're staying with me. I have three dogs of my own that range in age from 2 to 12, so no matter what speed your dog likes to go we've got something for them. For anyone little who needs it I've got stairs to get up on furniture. My pup, Lego, LOVES to play and will welcome any playmates with open paws. We've got tons of toys and chews around the house and lots of beds and couches to lounge on if that's what they're into. Other than occasional errands I may need to run, I am home full-time with the dogs. Due to this, the dogs don't have a lot of opportunities to get bored…in fact I have many owners texting me after telling me how tired their dog was after staying here! I try to let the dogs be outside and play to their heart’s content (weather permitting, of course). I started Rover as something to do on the side to spend time with dogs, and it has grown to be a full time gig for me and I couldn’t be happier. Being around dogs is truly what brings me joy--it would be my pleasure to take care of your pup while you're away. WHAT KIND OF DOGS DO BEST HERE? My goal is to let the dogs interact and play as much as possible, so well socialized dogs do best at my house. If your dog prefers to be alone or has aggressive/anxiety-based behaviors, then I may not be the sitter for you. Please keep this in mind as you consider me as a potential dog sitter. I am not for every dog and we want to ensure your dog is comfortable in its environment. Please note that I do foster dogs for Chicago Rescue Authority. Foster dogs will never interact with any guest dogs until they have been fully vetted and thoroughly tested to ensure they can safely interact with the pack. About: We've had dogs and cats in our family for years and miss hearing the patter of paws! We treat our pets well and enjoy playtimes and grooming dogs. Either my son or I are home to be with your pet. I work part time and my son is here when I work. He is working on his master's in business and loves to walk and play with the dogs. We do not have any pets of our own at present. This is a pet friendly home and yard on a quiet cul de sac. We dog sit other family members pets at time. Dogs are welcome in most rooms of the house.

About: I've always had dogs my whole life. Friends and family can always rely on me to take care of their pets or check in on their pets whenever they are out of town or busy at work. I will feed, walk, and play for however much time is needed. I currently work early mornings but there is someone always at the house to feed, play and keep your furry friends company! My whole day after work is completely open so I can't wait to take care of them. Huge fenced yard as well as a my own pet to play with your furry friend if needed. Plenty of toys to keep them occupied as well as plenty of treats to spoil them.

I also love pet photography and offer that as a service I am available on a drop-in basis and I can make myself available for overnights and extended stays as well. About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was in elementary school. I’ve been responsible for things like feeding them, walking them, and taking them out at night and in the morning Right now, my only commitments are on Sunday mornings, when I teach religious school in Deerfield. I’m looking for my next full time job currently, and heard about Rover through word of mouth. I’ll take your dog out first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. I’m fully available on Wednesdays and throughout the weekend, which gives me plenty of flexibility for overnight stays, longer visits, walks, and other pet care. About: I have professional experience caring for different types and sizes of dogs, through fostering as well as previous employment as a walker. I am a dog lover and working part-time from home. My husband also works from home and we are both able to care for the needs of your dog, and we have a large dog door and a fenced-in yard for outdoor activity.
