“This was our first time letting Alegria to be away from the house. We were very nervous but we knew for sure we did not want him to stay in a chain hotel. We wanted him to feel cared for the whole time. I guess we couldn't find a more perfect fit for Alegria. Jose was very friendly and caring, he let us came into his house prior to boarding to make sure where a n d how Alegria was going to spend the night. Jose was always communicative as to what Alegria was doing and sent us a bunch of pictures with the updates. In top of everything, Jose also speaks Spanish which was very helpful because Alegria is also bilingual. Now we can rest assured in case we need to board him again. Gracias Jose.”

She was very flexible and able to help us out with an early drop off and a late pick up. She helped make all the hassles go away. Zangar had a good stay with Svetlana and Alejandro. She got a nice big bone on her first day to help her get comfortable in the new apartment, and she came back extremely tired from all the play sessions she got. We got daily picture updates of Zangar romping around the yard and chewing her bone. Svetlana was super understanding of Zangar's limited experience with cats and made extra sure there was no craziness between her and Rocky. They also made sure she became fast friends with the other dogs there. Definitely recommended!”

About: My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. I've also loved my time volunteering at the local dog shelter where I walk, clean up after, and play with all the dogs up for adoption until they find their forever families. Also enjoyed a 6 week program at a dog shelter in Athens, Greece in 2024! I’m working part and full time depending on the week, but have most availability on weekends and later in the afternoons. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, mostly chihuahuas and rescues, so I’m very comfortable with pups who need a little extra patience, reassurance, or understanding. My hands-on experience goes far beyond casual pet care. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. Our guy is pretty anxious (separation and in general), to the degree that we couldn't even hand him over to someone to try a temperament test at an open boarding/daycare place. Joerg and Lake have been willing to work with us on gradually desensitizing him - giving him space and time to get used to them and their pup Lizzie at his own pace. They have a system for slowly introducing new dogs to their space, themselves, and Lizzie which really worked! After first doing a meet and greet in a park, a week later we did a 6 hour daycare session which exceeded my hopes - he allowed Joerg and Lake to handle him / pick him up (something no stranger has managed to do since we got him 5.5 months ago), and went on walks with Lizzie with no issues. Very pleased with how things went, and how kind and communicative Joerg was throughout. We will definitely be booking some more sessions to hopefully work our way up to boarding in future!”

“Camille and her husband were definitely the right choice for my Remy. Remy has several special needs. Camille and her husband were more than willing to accommodate and did great with them all! Remy generally has some serious stranger danger, but warmed up to them both very quickly. You can just tell they are good caretakers and dog people. Their dog Rosie was also very sweet and friendly to both me and Remy. I received several pictures and the communication was great while I was away.
