About: As someone who has raised my Havanese dog Oreo for 7 years, I have all the experience needed to ensure pets a comfortable and fulfilling time while you're away. Oreo, despite barking a lot, is friendly with dogs and children. He loves company and is very gentle. He is a great companion for dogs of all sizes needing a place to stay! Although I am working full-time, I usually come home earlier to walk and feed pets. During weekends and holidays, I am usually available all day to satisfy your pet's needs. I typically go for a walk before and after work. I also have cameras for when I am at work, to ensure that nothing goes wrong while I am away. I typically take dogs for walks around my neighborhood or nearby lakeside parks, where there is plenty of space and active and friendly dog communities. Pets can sleep wherever they feel comfortable. I have a fenced courtyard and backyard that pets can roam freely.

“EXTRAORDINARY! That is the only word I can use to describe my Sophie’s experience with Andrea and her family. Andrea cared for my aging Bassett Hound for 8 days. Sophie is a “special needs dog” in that she has one eye, has glaucoma in the other and is skittish. Andrea administered eye drops and coaxed her into walking outside when Sophie prefers to sleep the day away. Even Andrea’s children took time to sit with Sophie and from all the pix I received it was evident that she had become part of the family. We really appreciated that Andrea’s son bicycled to my son’s house to pick up additional meds for Sophie. It was obvious that Sophie was very comfortable with Andrea and I would gladly leave her with Andrea again. She is truly the best pet sitter Sophie has ever had.”

We used to leave our dog at a large dog boarding place when traveling, and she would be grouped with so many different dogs that I can tell she was traumatized and often took days to be back to her normal carefree self (and she would have dog drooling all over her). This time under Nancyanne’s care our dog was able to stick to a routine similar to at home, and I can tell she was quite comfortable and after 9 days it was seamless that her demeanor was like she never left home.
