Do not book this sitter. We entrusted our dog to Fernando for 9 days based on his five-star reviews. It was a decision we deeply regret. When we picked up our dog this evening, Fernando said nothing about any issues. It wasn’t until we got home - in better lighting - that we discovered our dog’s rear paws were completely stripped of fur, with raw inflamed skin on the front of his paws, as well as the rear legs. He had zero paw issues when we dropped him off. When we called to ask what had happened, the sitter denied anything had occurred and insisted our dog was fine. Then, when pressed, he suggested it may have happened “when we caged him in the past three hours.” Before booking, we explicitly asked to ensure that our dog would not be crated. He promised us he would not be. Let that sink in: he admitted to caging our dog after promising he wouldn’t - and then offered that as an explanation for severe, chronic looking paw inflammation that any vet would recognize as developing over days, not hours. We took our dog to an emergency vet the same evening we picked him up. She confirmed that the severity of his issues would have occurred over days, not hours. We have photos documenting the condition of his paws. Fernando failed to monitor or disclose a worsening health condition over 9 days, broke a direct pre-booking commitment and offered an implausible explanation only when confronted. That is not someone you can trust with your pet. Book elsewhere.

Caddy loved her time at Fernando and Elizabeth’s! Drop off and pick up was easy and convenient and they always responded right away!

Fernando was responsive, sent pictures daily, and made dropoff/pickup very easy. Maple had a great time with the other pups. Will be requesting them again!

Fernando was very easy going and accommodating. He seemed to be very comfortable with taking on our two dogs. I appreciate how easy the process was.
