TRUSTWORTHY, reliable, and long time pet care provider with great references! I’m very good at communicating to owners and their animals. My mission is to take the best care of your pet while you aren’t there in a safe atmosphere. I have lots of experience with different behaviors and recently took a brush up “dog training” class to learn the latest tricks! Some dogs will only let me walk them ;) I’m so grateful that my love for animals has turned into a career that l love and respect❤️ I look forward to helping you and your pet in any way that I can. I have walked small pups to giant dogs and sometimes we even go the our local dog park if the time is right.

As always, Alexis took great care of our dog! We love getting photos while we are gone and Alexis is always great about letting us know if there are any issues. This time, we didn’t provide enough food—Alexis went above and beyond and made a Target run halfway through our vacation! She is a total pro and we always feel comfortable leaving our dog with her when we are gone.
Super great communication and super great with our pup!
As always, Alexis took great care of our dog! We loved having photos of all their fun excursions. Pie dog came home tired and happy!

I'm really disappointed with the service and the weekend we booked with Alexis after reading all of her five star reviews. I also never offer feedback, but this last weekend was discouraging as we were relying on the best service for our boy Porter since we were all out of town. Lack of responding, did not come meet him before the service and then got nervous going into the home and then second guessed if she would come back when I booked her for 5 days already, she then told me the weekend walks will be an extra $5 after she started this service and I already paid (it is also not listed on her page that weekends are extra), ending the weekend with an unprofessional incident and did not respond to my final message which I did not appreciate since there was some confusion with her last visit. The whole weekend just didn't go smoothly and we have two other dog walkers that are absolutely amazing and all goes smoothly with helpful, detailed, positive updates and visits. It's not easy being away from your animal and there was a lot of back and forth. I'm sure it wasn't easy since she did not already know Porter nor the home, but we had another walker help out (who had never been to our home nor knew Porter) and everything went great so I was not understanding why we had so many issues. I'm sorry to say I would not book her a second time.

A typical day
We will walk to and around Lovelace Park. During the off season, we will go in the tennis courts and play with balls and the other dogs that are there. We visit the Pooch Park in Skokie or the dog beach at least once a day!
