About: Most of my experience comes from growing up with my own household’s cat. Many of my friends and family have cats as well; my brother and his mom have a cat and travel all the time, so I often do home visits for them. I’ve also done work trades on farms that had cats I spent much time with. I love cats and think they’re such special animals. Whether they’re a cuddle-bug or more of a spy who likes personal space, it’d be a pleasure to help care for yours!

About: I've had dogs my whole life and adore them as well as many other species (except snakes). I am a certified virtual dog trainer and currently accepting longer house sits. Currently, I am studying dog naturopathy and help out at Bordertails Animal Rescue. I volunteered at The Humane Society of Southern Illinois for 5 years where I exercised animals and taught them tricks, so they were more likely to be adopted... then I got really into the show, "The Dog Whisperer" and “Pitbulls & Parolees”. I I can be highly active, yet remain calm and assertive when giving commands. I practice positive reinforcement and use a no-force approach. With exercise and attention being important, I provide both (in accordance to limits and individual needs), and I will follow the rules you have in place all while loving them to pieces. I am happy to cuddle, if they're into that, and respect their pace by reading the dogs body language. I find dog psychology fascinating and by the end of 2025 I’ll have competed my Dog Training Certification program through GoodPup and be offering virtual dog training! My one rule is that I do not accept in person visits with mature pets with a history of attacking a human previously. I tend to accept longer term house stays when working remotely, and nearby recurring walks/ drop-ins. Feel free to reach out and tell me more about your needs. Thanks for reading! About: I have a friendly 5 year old labradoodle. Our dog loves other dogs! I will treat your dog like he/she is our own- with tender loving care! I am home daily and my husband works from home a few days a week. I have a family who very much enjoys interacting with the dogs.. I can take your dog on 1-2 walks a day, plus backyard play multiple times day. We have a fenced in yard. And we have wonderful neighbors who also love and have dogs, next door and behind us. We like to hide treats in the backyard for the dogs to find!

About: As a Mommy and animal enthusiast - I take immense pride and joy in my care for ALL babies! We tend to forget that It takes a village to raise ‘em right and I’d be honored to be the chosen addition to helping you raise yours. I currently work “on-call” meaning I have ample amount of free time to invest in to my relationship with your fur babies. About: My journey with Rover began approximately 8 years ago and it's been a delight to meet and care for furry babies when their parents were in need of a responisible and trusted caretaker. At that time, my Lola, was just as excited to befriend and play with pals. As my Lola grew older, she developed medical issues and my attention and all the time I could give,was directed only towards her. Therefore, I took a pause to spend time with her and give her all I could. Her time, to join the rest of angel friends, came on December 17th, 2025. About: I grew up around many dogs. My parents LOVE English Bulldogs and we always had 2-3 in our home whether we were fostering or they were ours. A few years ago we found a cat in the woods and decided to add to the family! After moving out, I have decided to rescue two cats of my own and they have been such a blessing! I also watch my friends dogs and cats from time to time. I am currently studying to be a personal trainer and work at a gym opening a women’s fitness program. About: I am a dog owner for the past 8 years and own two Setter pups. Friends have entrusted me with their dogs for petsitting and dog walking - in some occasions I would have as many as 4 dogs with me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! As a dog parent I know how important is to have someone you trust with your baby, I will treat your dog as my own, making sure your dog is safe and happy! My work schedule varies week by week between office and home, which allows me some flexibility. When in the area, I am flexible to go on a walk with your pup to get some fresh air or do a drop in visit to spend some time with them. When I drop in to check on your pup or take on a walk, I will always follow your instructions closely and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. During walks, I will keep a close eye on them, always be on leash, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level. Afterward, provide a quick pupdate so you know your pup is happy and well taken care of.
About: I had a dog of my own for 14 years until we had to put her down due to old age, nowadays I look for any excuse to be around doggies. I am highly qualified in going for walks, feeding, playing, giving belly rubs, and using the pooper scooper. I'm currently working part time and looking for something that is either a one time job or only for a few hours a week in order to work with my schedule, bring in some extra cash, and most importantly give your pet some love while you're away. About: Why do I do what I do? Because there's no feeling like receiving that first tail wag, head bump, or slobbery kiss. My calling is to advocate for the ones who can't do it themselves and to care for them. Having 6 cats and some reptiles of my own and being a Veterinary Technician is what my life consists of and I love it. Being a Veterinary Technician aids me in many ways while pet sitting. Being able to read animals body language and understand their ways of communicating allow me to bond and build trust with my pet friends. About: Since I was 11, my neighbors have trusted me to feed and walk their dogs + cats. I have handled very large dogs but also small dogs without struggle, with a wide range of ages from puppies to seniors. I have worked with multiple special needs animals and can administer any kind of medicine. I am a student so I have summer off right now, but start school august 25th. Most important holidays I will be gone out of town for. I am in a boating family, so most weekends we try to get out onto the lake during the summer!! “We had an amazing experience with Leigh & Richard watching our dog Ivy for over a week! Ivy is a 7-yr old rescue and can be very skittish at times and hesitant with new people and locations. Leigh took the time to watch her a few times before our trip to get comfortable with her and Ivy did great! We were sent pictures daily of Ivy while on our trip, which made it so much better as we could be stress-free over our dog. Their fenced in yard also worked out perfectly to give Ivy plenty of time outside. Thanks again! We hope to continue this relationship!”
