“Hannah is fantastic. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgable about dogs. She sees each dog as an individual and responds to their unique needs. Nothing fazes her. She is super responsive and communicative. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“Five very waggy stars for Meghan (and her sweet pup, Ralphie)! Meghan is absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that she is a true dog lover with tons of experience, and she knew exactly how to make our dog feel safe, happy, and completely at home. Our dog was treated like a member of her family and had the time of his life playing with Ralphie and the other dogs. The adorable photos and videos gave us so much peace of mind while we were away...and honestly, I think he was a little sad to come home, which is probably the highest compliment a dog can give. We will absolutely book again. Weekend at Ralphie’s is officially dog-approved!”

“Luciana is an absolutely amazing sitter! My pup stayed with her for three weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She and her whole family treated my dog like one of their own, giving her so much love, care, and attention every single day. I truly appreciated the regular updates and the peace of mind knowing my pup was happy and well cared for while I was away. I would trust Luciana with my dog again without hesitation. I highly, highly recommend Luciana to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy sitter. She is simply the best!”

“Jessica is fantastic! She took our pup to the park and on her errands which made him very happy. Very communicative too the entire time with photos and videos. And she takes excellent photos to boot!”

“Walter just had his first experience with Nicole and it was wonderful. Nicole is present, kind and a fantastic dog sitter. I highly recommend her and will be using her again.”

“Soojin is an amazing doggy sitter! My pup Toby loved her so much, the next time I brought him to stay with her he was practically jumping out of the car window to jump in her arms. She truly loves dogs and caring for them and will treat your pup as if it's her own. 10/10! Will absolutely bring Toby back to stay with her when I need a sitter.”

“Jean is caring and very attentive to my dog. She gave multiple updates throughout his time there and paid attention to his behavior and asked questions. Very highly recommended”

“Yamile is super nice and you can tell she likes pets. She took good care of my dog and cat. I also appreciated that her dog was very chill, even around my cat (they barely acknowledged each other!). Would book with her again.”

“This was my first experience with Thao and everything went great. She was easy to work with and my dog Buck came home happier than the times he stayed in a kennel. Will definitely ask for her to watch him again.”

“My dog is so happy to be with Ewa and all the doggy pals, he meets there. We are repeat customers I highly recommend Ew and her husbands dog sitting service. They are really caring people and seem to love my dog.”

“Balaji took really great care of our dog, sending photos everyday with updates. We have already used Balaji three times in a row and with each stay, can see that my dog is happy and having fun!”

“Michael and Janet have been wonderfully patient and compassionate with my two Chihuahuas, one of whom is elderly and has special dietary needs while the other is a rescue still getting acclimated. They took the time to win my dogs' trust, providing pets and outside time in a crate-free environment. I feel lucky to have found them!”

“Had a great experience with Kyle! He watched my two dogs for the weekend and was very pleased with his attention to detail prior to their stay (he asked a lot of questions to make sure that my dogs would be comfortable and keep them on their routine) and he sent pictures every day. My younger dog is very energetic but came home wiped out and relaxed- a big bonus! ☺️ It was easy to see that Kyle enjoys interacting with the dogs and takes great care of them. Will definitely book again”
“My dog immediately liked Janice upon first meeting. I had confidence in Janice's long experience with her own dog. She asked good questions regarding my dog's personality and needs. Janice was very responsive to all communications and questions.”

“Byron and Martha were great with my dogs , they kept me updated and provided me with pictures throughout the day. I really appreciate the wonderful care that they give , I would recommend as many people to book asap !!!”

“Jayne took great care of Moxie. I travel a lot for work and being new to NYC and not knowing anyone I have to rely on Rover to find responsible people to love and care for my dog like I do. I got photo updates at least 2-3 times a day of Jayne taking Moxie out on walks, playing with her in the house, and of Moxie relaxing comfortably in Jayne's home. I could tell that she was well cared for and in good hands. Jayne reached out with questions about her eating habits and also had to deal with a lot of walks in cold and rainy weather, so I knew Moxie was in good hands. Jayne was very responsive when I reached out to her for updates. I would absolutely trust Jayne again with my dear Jack Russell Terrier.”
“This review has been long overdue. Bruno has been with Marta atleast on 3 different occasions now and each time he has been well cared for. He is a very active dog and gets lot of playtime in the backyard. Bruno has issues with his eating habits and Marta has made sure he doesn't skip meals. For all the stays, she has kept me updated about each day and sent a lot of pics. When our flight was delayed she was understanding and flexible with pickup timings. All in all, Bruno is loved at Martas place and he looks forward to his visits there. We feel comfortable dropping him there, knowing he gets lot of love and attention.”

About: Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years, and caring for them is truly one of my greatest joys. I've had the privilege of caring for my own cats as well as the beloved cats of family and friends, giving me experience with a wide variety of personalities and needs. From energetic kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats, shy rescues, and senior companions, I understand that every cat is unique and deserves individualized care. I have also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for cats while they waited for their forever homes. This experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, stress-free environment so each cat can feel safe and comfortable. In addition to my cat experience, I've spent many years caring for dogs, including administering daily medications and working with dogs experiencing separation anxiety and trauma. These experiences have strengthened my ability to recognize animal behavior, build trust at each pet's own pace, and provide compassionate, attentive care. Whether your cat loves to play, cuddle, observe from a distance, or simply enjoys a consistent routine, I'll respect their personality and make sure they receive the love, attention, and care they deserve while you're away. My goal is for both you and your cat to feel comfortable knowing they're in caring, reliable hands.
“Karina provided exceptional care for my cat, Aster. She consistently sent thoughtful daily updates along with photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Her reliability and attention to detail truly stood out—I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to others.”

“I've been using Rover for almost a decade now, and Abby is the best. My 10yr old cat Dally doesn't like most people but Abby from the very first meeting. Abby is reliable, detail-oriented, and always sweet with Dally. I no longer worry when I'm away from home, as I know Dally is in great hands!”

“Once again, Anna went above and beyond looking after our sweet pets! I love that she always sent us daily updates on the visits and so much appreciated the sweet photos she took. She turned on & off our lights, opened & closed our curtains too.”

I have experience taking care of all different breeds of cat including care for Maine Coon and Bengals. I am happy to do anything your cat needs during drop in visits. Does your kitty like to play? Do they like to sit on someone's lap? Or do they just need fresh water and a litter scoop? I'll be there to help! I am also comfortable administering medication and light grooming for long haired or hairless cats. I would love to take care of your family member and am open to any questions about my services and skills!

“This was my first time leaving my cats with a pet sitter and it was very much worth it. Beth was great - I was able to meet with her ahead of time, right away she bonded with the cats. Beth visited my cats every day for a week and sent pictures each time. She was thoughtful and I could tell she really cared. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again.”

“Jacky went above and beyond with our two dogs while we were gone for a week! One of our dogs got sick right before we left and she was so helpful giving his meds and watching out for his symptoms. I knew they were in great hands. Thanks again!”
“Diana was awesome dropping in on our 2 cats. Responded quickly when we needed last minute help before going on vacation and was very patient working through some initial trouble getting in the over the phone.”

“Jennifer was absolutely wonderful with our two cats! She was reliable, thorough, and clearly cared about their well-being. I got regular updates and photos, and it was clear they were comfortable and happy while we were away. I came home to two relaxed, well-cared-for kitties. I’d definitely recommend Jennifer and will book again without hesitation!”

About: Hi, I’m Yailyn! I have a genuine love for animals and hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, as well as other small pets. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them all the love and attention they deserve! 🐾✨ Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I currently work from home. This allows me to be flexible with my schedule, giving me plenty of time for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and quality care throughout the day. 🐾✨ When caring for pets, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each owner’s routine closely to keep things familiar for their pet. This includes regular feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. About: I owned a cat for 16 years and most recently a dog for almost 16! Not ready for another of my own just yet, but missing the cuddles and walks! As a teacher I am back to work this week so will only be available on the weekends for the time being. Will update my availability as holidays and school breaks approach. I have a fenced in side yard area that dogs can use throughout the day. I also have my own crate that a dog can sleep in, as well as my own litter box for cats to use.
“Penny was incredibly happy at pick up! She was definitely in a safe home. Her new friend Mocha is the cutest! Balaji was outstanding with communication and updates with pictures and videos. We look forward to seeing you next week! Thank you so much for Penny’s goodies!!”

About: I just graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science. I have grown up with pets and taken care of them for years! I’ve had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! I have a lot of experience taking care of animals as I’ve interned at a zoo and volunteered at shelters and vet clinics. I’m very comfortable giving medications to pets as I’ve had a lot of practice with this with my own pets and while sitting! I am currently on summer break so I should be available all day unless I have it blocked off on my calendar! I plan to travel around the end of summer and move out of Illinois in the fall. My house has one kitten, and my backyard is not fenced in. I’d love to take care of your pet in either your home or mine, whichever is easiest!

About: My wife, Jana, and I have been dog lovers our entire lives. Currently, we're proud parents to our wonderful pup, Lula. Lula is a 75lb Komondor-mix. Recently, we said goodbye to our other beloved senior dog, so we understand the unique needs and joys of older dogs. We'd love to open our home to another dog, if only temporarily, to bring some companionship to Lula and fill our hearts with double joy once again. Rest assured, your furry friend will be treated like family while you're away. We can't wait to welcome them into our home with open arms! Jana and I both work from home, ensuring that there's always someone around during the day to provide company and care for your pet. Occasionally, we may step out for a meal or activity in the evenings or on weekends, but your pet will never be left unattended for more than a few hours at a time. Our cozy home boasts a fenced backyard, providing a safe haven for your pet. We enjoy daily walks in our scenic and relaxing neighborhood, ensuring your dog gets plenty of fresh air and exercise if desired. Our dog Lula is e-collar trained, and is playful with other dogs & humans
About: Hi! I'm Livia, and animals have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. Over the years my husband and I have had our own four dogs, two bunnies, and two ducks (yes, really!), so "a little bit of everything" is genuinely our specialty. We don't have any pets of our own right now, which is actually one of the best things about your furry friend staying with us. Your pet gets the run of the house with no resident animals to negotiate with, which is a huge relief for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs/cats who just need room to decompress. And there's a LOT of room. Our entire downstairs is 2,000 square feet and completely open to our guests, with dog beds tucked into every room so they can pick their favorite spot. Outside is a full fenced-in acre yard: space to run, sniff, and roll around in the grass without ever needing a trip to the park. Best of all, at least one of us is home all day, every day. Your pet is never left alone and never crated (unless you'd prefer them to be crated). We're happy handling puppies still learning the rules, seniors who need a gentler pace, medications on a schedule, and nervous pets who need someone patient. And if anything ever were to come up, we're literally a two-minute drive from three different emergency vet clinics. We're looking forward to welcoming your pet! My husband and I both work from home, which is the whole reason we're able to do this so well. There's no window where the house is empty - someone is always here, in the same room (usually being used as a pillow by one of our guests!). That means your pet's routine gets to stay your pet's routine. Whatever their feeding schedule is, we'll keep it. Meds at 7am and 7pm? Done. A dog who needs a mid-afternoon nap in a quiet room, or one who wants to be outside every hour on the hour? Also fine. We're not working around a commute, so we can build the day around them instead of the other way around. You'll get a few photos and updates a day, so you can see exactly how they're settling in. And we always do a meet-and-greet before booking, so everyone (including your pet) knows who they're staying with before the first night. Our yard is a full fenced acre behind a 6-foot privacy fence, so there's serious room to run with no gaps to squeeze through. Inside, our whole downstairs (about 2,000 square feet) is open to our guests, with dog beds in every room so they can pick their preferred spot. Cats stay upstairs in their own quiet, private bedrooms with the doors closed, completely separate from any dogs. We don't have pets of our own, so nobody's defending their territory when your pet walks in. Every booking starts with a meet-and-greet, and if we're hosting more than one family at a time, new dogs meet slowly and on leash in the yard before they're ever loose together. If any pair isn't a match, they get separated. Someone is home 24/7, so your pet is never left alone. We're comfortable with medications, senior pets who need a gentler pace, and nervous ones who need time. And we're literally a two-minute drive from three emergency vet clinics if anything ever were to come up.

About: I’ve grown up with animals. I love people who love animals! I enjoy giving ear scratches, tummy rubs and nose boops. We are a military family, with 3 furry friends. Let’s connect and hopefully you can find trust in myself with your most precious pets! I’m currently working part time. I have a flexible schedule as far as what services you may need. I’m open most weekends and week days. I can watch in your home or mine or stop by to take your dog out for the day! I have a fenced yard and a friendly husky. We are big on parks, walking and fetch. Big or small, I don’t mind at all!
“Mark and his wife took EXCELLENT care of Midge. We are so grateful to have them nearby for future care! They sent pics and complimented Midge’s demeanor and really seemed to enjoy having her around.”

About: Hello! We love furry friends. We will spend time with your pets and take best care of them. We will let your pets feel like they are always surrounded with love. We need to go to office three days a week. We will get home around 5pm and both me and my husband can take care daily. We have a very friendly 6 years old yellow lab, Coco, at home. We go out 3 times a day and play with her very often. We will do the same thing and crated if you request.
“This was the first time Belle and Lucy stayed with Jean and they had a blast! She took such good care of my babies that I didn’t have to worry about them at all! We are glad to have found her and hope to use her services again in the future. Highly recommended.”

“My baby Blaze gets so exited to go to his sitter. He is super responsive and kind 10/10. I highly recommend him and will be using his services for the foreseeable future.”

“Daphne had a fabulous time with Svitlana! I was somewhat of a nervous wreck since my dog was attacked a few months ago by another dog and Svitlana was attentive to our needs and made sure Daphne still had a great time! HIGHLY recommend her!”

“Pat took great care of my dog. She has a lot of experience and really cares about animals. This was my dog's first time with Pat and he seemed to have enjoyed himself (even though he was a little uneasy with an unfamiliar environment). I definitely recommend Pat to care for your fur babies.”

“Marta does a fantastic job on accommodating Peppy’s needs on his first day. I appreciate all the updates and photos. She made him feel comfortable throughout the day. I recommend Marta for future pet-sitter :)”

About: I had 2 dogs growing up, and helped my parents take care of them. My parents were busy most days, so I was the one who would take them for walks. My dog recently got his teeth removed, so I also learned how to take care of him and how to feed him properly with that in mind. I’ve also had to take care of both dogs when my parents are out of town, taking them outside, administering medication, and feeding and providing water for them. I have done the same for my grandparents. I love animals a lot, and I volunteered at animal shelters in high school and can properly care for and clean up after many pets.. I’m currently taking all of my classes online, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I can be available at any needed times, both weekdays and weekends. I will provide food and water according to instructions. I will keep a clean, safe, and loving environment, and ensure that they get time to play and exercise regularly. I’m great at following instructions, and I am very attentive to any special requests that are given by the owner.
“Natalia was AWESOME!! She was prompt, friendly (we met a week prior) fed our Sweet Jäger and took him on a nice walk. She provided an update on him with many pictures. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Natalia and will DEFNITATELY use her services again!!!”

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was young, starting with my neighbor's Old English Sheepdog. Today, I'm the go-to sitter my sister relies on to care for her little fluffball, whether it's for an evening away or extended vacations. I'm comfortable providing consistent, attentive care for every pet -- and following your every instruction to make sure your pet stays happy and healthy while you're away. I currently work a flexible, non-traditional schedule that includes fantasy illustration projects and teaching art classes. This gives me built-in gaps during the day that I'd love to fill with dog care, whether that means walks, playtime, or multi-day companionship. Your dog's routine and well-being are my top priorities. I make sure that your dog gets the best care possible and will follow all instructions to the letter: setting phone alarms to ensure potty breaks and meals happen right on time, monitoring treats so your dog is neither over- nor under-indulged, and sticking closely to established sleep schedules. I'm equally respectful of your home, taking care to leave it as clean and orderly (or better) than when I arrived.
“Diana was prompt, responsive and reliable! She was great to work with and I felt so much relief leaving my pets in good hands while I was away. Thank you Diana! Will absolutely rebook soon”

“Jason quickly made a strong connection with our lab, Ralph, and with us. He puts extra time, thought and effort into his care of Ralph which has made a difference. He is also extremely responsive and provides detailed information about each interaction. He’s terrific!”

About: My doggies taught me everything I know. They are no longer here - they went to doggy heaven and we miss them all the time. My teens and I have a lot love to give and want to share with your doggy. You can rest assured we would treat your doggy as if it were ours. Also, anything under 10.5 miles for more than 1 day I offer pick up and dropp off. I work from home and have a very tight routine in our home that will help your pet feel calm and secure. Since pets thrive on routine it will bring them peace and calmness. I can give extra walks when it's a nice day and make sure we stay active if need or relaxed and enjoying a lazy "dog day". I have a quiet, grassy backyard that gives dogs a calm place to sniff, stretch their legs, and enjoy fresh air. It's a low-stress space that's great for potty breaks and relaxed outdoor time. I'm very mindful of which dogs are a good fit for my space and always put safety and comfort first so that your pups feel happy and at ease while they're with me. Doggies are allowed on our beds and couches and even our bathrooms :) - we keep a light sense of humor

“Can’t say enough good things!! Communication was excellent. Reliable and prompt. We had a wonderful four days of dog walking. In fact, I think my dog is sad that he’s back to having me walk him. 🤷♀️”

About: I've taken care of my families dogs for 10 years and just moved out and could use some doggy time, my 16 year old dog Ellie has passed away recently I have experience with dealing with older dogs because of her I'm working part-time at a retirement home so I have plenty of time to take your furry friends on a stroll, I do stand up and improv comedy so I'm not free late nights but most days I'm free till 5:30 I unfortunately am not allowed to have dogs in my apartment but because of that I'm more than willing to travel to your house to spend some time with your puppies!
“Christina is awesome. She takes my 5 month old puppy on walks, and she absolutely loves her. She gives updates as well so I know she’s in good hands while I’m gone at work.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been something very natural and meaningful to me. I’ve grown up with dogs and have experience with their everyday needs, from walks and playtime to feeding, cuddles, and simply keeping them company. Unfortunately, I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, and I truly miss having a furry friend around. That’s actually one of the reasons I’d love to be a Rover walker - I’d be so happy to spend time with your pup and give them the love, attention, and exercise they deserve. I’m patient, caring, responsible, and I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own. I’m available for dog walks on weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs. I’m flexible with timing and happy to give your pup the exercise, attention, and care they need. I treat every dog with patience, kindness, and care, follow the owner’s instructions, and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during every walk.

About: I’ve taken care of different types of dogs since I was 14. I had a golden doodle pet of my own for 12 years. I have given injections and pills to dogs. I have been trusted to take care of dogs with epilepsy and diabetes. I have plenty of time to be with your animals. I love cuddling with them and won’t have a problem having them in my bed. I am from Riverwoods and it is soon to be my senior year in college but I have time off now. I also love being active and outside. I have no concerns about anxious dogs and I know they will warm up to me with time. I can crate your dog if needed. For extra outdoor time, I have a a zip line cord to connect to a collar that prevents them from going past a certain point in the backyard since we do not have a fenced in yard. They can roam around there.

“Walter just had his first experience with Nicole and it was wonderful. Nicole is present, kind and a fantastic dog sitter. I highly recommend her and will be using her again.”

“Byron and Martha were great with my dogs , they kept me updated and provided me with pictures throughout the day. I really appreciate the wonderful care that they give , I would recommend as many people to book asap !!!”

“We absolutely love having Diedre watching our dogs. My two pups were staying with her this weekend, and while one of my dogs was immediately very happy there, my other dog was very reactive and anxious around her dogs (this is normal for my dog - her dogs were great). Instead of it ruining our weekend, she pivoted and was so flexible and did drop in visits with our reactive/anxious dog. In the end, both of my dogs got what they wanted - Tilly got to stay and play and Sadie got to be comfortable at home, and got individualized attention. Both dogs were well taken care of and very happy. 10/10 🥰”

“Kelly, along with her own pooch Maggie, were excellent companions for our puppy's first stay away from home. Kelly was on top of everything, because she's very professional and caring. I really appreciated the photos she sent each day showing that our dog was having a good time. Kelly was always on top of the entire process. Because we were traveling to and from the airport, together we made the drop off and pick up as smooth and quick as possible. Kelly's location, about five minutes from the airport, was perfect too.”
