About: For the past 16 years, I've had the privilege of caring for the beloved pets of my family and friends. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and needs. My parents have two Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) dogs who require plenty of attention, exercise, and interaction. Whenever my parents travel—often for several weeks at a time—I stay in their home to care for them. During that time, I provide multiple daily walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of affection. I also carefully follow their routine, including administering daily medications and any special care instructions. I also have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a calm, reassuring environment. Additionally, I cared for a rescue dog with PTSD and, over time, earned their trust to the point where they felt comfortable approaching me for affection. Experiences like these have taught me the value of allowing animals to build trust at their own pace. Cats have been a part of my life for the past 16 years as well. I've cared for cats with a wide range of personalities, from playful kittens and affectionate cuddlers to independent cats and senior companions with special needs. I also volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I helped clean, socialize, play with, and care for the cats to help them feel safe and comfortable while waiting for their forever homes. Whether I'm caring for dogs or cats, my goal is always the same: to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and treated like family. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including daytime visits, evening care, weekends, and many last-minute bookings. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I'm currently a full-time sonography student completing my clinical rotations. Before returning to school, I worked in the medical field, most recently at a cancer center, where I developed a strong commitment to providing compassionate, attentive care. Caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am, and that same dedication extends to the animals I care for. For years, I've been the person family, friends, and neighbors rely on to care for their beloved pets. About: I have had dogs all my life. I enjoy helping walk, groom and play with them so they can relax and nap by the fireplace. I have trained puppies and also have had senior dogs too as well as meds admin also. I work from home so dogs are vital to me and they make me feel so happy. I love them and they love me so it is a win win. It is nice to be popular too with my K9s as they enjoy my big fenced in yard too which we love to run around in and play all day. I follow directions given to me and listen to the owners as they know their baby best. Other than that I give the dogs all my love and attention.

About: Hi everyone! I am new to this app, but am well equipped to take care of your animals like my own. I have a 5 year old golden retriever who takes medication and a calico cat I adopted 3 years ago. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I am currently working a remote job from 7:30am-4:30pm. I have a 30 minute lunch where I would be free to come drop in or walk your pet! I would also be able to before work and after work as well. I have a golden retriever who I give prebiotics too every morning along with his medication twice a day. Now that I work remote I walk him very frequently. I use positive reinforcement by being gentle and firm and I try to be fun and playful with the dog or puppy. I have two dogs. I actively take them out, I feed them every morning and night. I bathe when they need it. I walk them and take them to dog classes or improve any behavior issues they might have or come across. Apart from my dogs, I participle imagine dog training classes as a student and to demonstrate dog training techniques. I will actively play with the dogs to tire them out and do what I can to ensure the health and enjoyment of the dog.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always felt very natural to me. My last dog was with me for 14 years, and I got to experience every stage of her life with her. I went from playing with her as a little kid to taking her on walks and eventually helping care for her as she got older. Having her alongside me for so many years made her feel like a constant part of my life, and I really grew up with her in a way that I’ll always be grateful for. My current dog has been with me for four years and was rescued from a breeding farm. When we first brought her home, she was extremely nervous and wouldn’t even leave our mudroom. It took a lot of patience and consistency for her to become comfortable, but now she sleeps in my bed and follows me everywhere. That experience taught me that every dog has a different personality and comfort level, and sometimes they just need someone willing to give them the time to adjust. Given that, my schedule can get fairly busy during the afternoon and early evening most days however I am very good at managing my class schedule and athletics schedule to best make time for what I need, which will be the pet. No matter what home I’m in I will provide the animal with better than proper care. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
