About: My name is Veronica, I am a board certified Animal Care Specialist and Groomer. I am a nature kind of person who believes in giving my pets a life of adventure outdoors. I enjoy playing games with them in the yard or nature walks, swimming.. I do a little bit of basic training such as, sit stay come and many tricks. I have two dogs and one macaw. I believe in creating a home away from home environment for pets. Unless, required by pet owner for specified reason to use a crate. I would be happy to articulate further details.. Meet my pets I have a two year old German Shepherd, 10 year old mini black poodle, and a 21 year old blue and gold macaw. I groom/pet-sit for a living at home. I live on a 1/2 acre lot. Back yard is fenced in. I play Frisbee with the German shepherd in the yard. I take both my dogs on long walks at camp Logan, bike trails and beaches. They both enjoy swimming and the German shepherd loves Frisbee fetching in lake Michigan as well as in the yard. We go for at least 1-2 hour walks during late spring-late fall daily. Winter months I only take them for shorter walks depending on the temperature. I also enjoy teaching young dogs new tricks for treats.

About: I've had many pets growing up. Ive taken care of my friends cat for 6 months, coming by and providing food and play time. I currently care for my 14yr cat and I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I do have a full time job. I'm willing to come by during my lunch break or after work 2 or 3 times a week for some TLC. I ensure that animals stick to their usual route, have treats to stay near me, and make sure they have plenty of food and water. Portions vary per owner and so do the limitations of treats. You tell me the quantity and I will stick to it. Everything you do to get your fur baby ready for a walk, I will do too.

I have owned and babysat chickens, cats, and dogs since i was little. I am very patient and loving towards animals and would love to care for your fur baby as per your requests while you are away. I work at home full time so I am up early and will spend full days with your pet. Let me know of any special requests and I will be happy to fulfill them! Located in Gurnee IL. I work from home full time and have a highly social and playful dog. During the day your boarded babies will play with Bentley (my dog) and nap on the bed in my office to jazz and classical music. During my break I usually walk my dog midday or late afternoon. If your dog or cat is not boarded, after 11A I am free to pop over and check on your fur babies and spend some time with them. My dog and cats safety at home are a high priority, I keep my home clean and free of anything they might chew or choke on. As well as all chemicals and other hazards showed away in cabinets they are unable to open. For my anxious dog I keep classical music on throughout the house to create a peaceful environment. Your pooch will feel at ease in my home and will always be watched and cared for. I make sure to send plenty of pictures and videos to update you on their mood and how their day is going. Nothing better than getting reassurance that your fur baby is in the best hands!! In your home I will watch them the entire time while they are playing and eating to make sure they are okay and haven’t gotten into any trouble.

About: I have been around different breeds of dogs growing up so I am not concerned of certain breeds. I enjoy feeding any stray animal that I encounter. I work full time during the week. I am available after 4 pm during Monday through Friday and open on weekends any time of day! I am able to walk, feed, play and bathe your dog as needed! I will keep them company in any way that I possibly can.
