About: I’ve been a devoted dog owner and animal lover for many years. My dog, Chase, was diagnosed with cancer at age 11, and I cared from him through the very end of his journey until he passed away at 12. Caring for him taught me patience, compassion, attention to detail, and the importance of treating every pet like family. In addition to caring for Chase, I’ve pet sat for family and friends for years, with many dogs staying in my home for two weeks or more at a time. I understand that every pet has unique routines, personalities and needs, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Because I work from home, pets in my care are rarely left alone. On the occasional errand or appointment, I use pet cameras to keep an eye on them and ensure they’re safe and comfortable. About: As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve had the joy of raising two dogs from puppies, giving me firsthand experience with everything from potty training and basic training to the high energy and patience that young dogs require. I have been dog sitting for friends & family in Michigan & Illinois for 3 years now. In my professional life, I’m an Occupational Therapist who works with older adults. I regularly help residents safely care for and enjoy time with their beloved pets, so I’m experienced in recognizing changes in behavior, adapting to individual needs, and providing calm, attentive care. I’m also comfortable with senior dogs who may need a slower pace. Because I’m young and active, I love getting outside for walks, playtime, and adventures that help energetic dogs stay happy and engaged. Whether your pup wants a long walk, a game of fetch, or just lots of cuddles and companionship, I’ll tailor my care to their personality and routine. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own, so you can feel confident they’re safe, loved, and having a great time while you’re away! I work a normal 9-5 Monday-Friday. Therefore I prefer to do Friday afternoon-Sunday evening stays! This way I am available 24/7 for the pet. I have a fenced in yard (that is also dig proof). I currently have one very friendly dog who would be eager to any pups companion. My dog is allowed on furniture/in beds. We have a lot of sidewalks & trails within our neighborhood for walks. I have multiple security cameras.
