My home is very safe for pets, as it was already set up for a dog in the past with carpeted stairs and a yard to play in. The yard has a fence around part of it, but it is still open, so if I take your pet outside to play, I will use a leash and keep them in the yard safely separated from any danger. The only other person living in the home will be my mother, who is also an animal lover, but is generally at work during weekdays.

I’m Wing, and I’m an experienced dog caregiver who genuinely loves getting to know each dog’s individual personality, quirks, and needs. 🐶 I had my own dog for 7 years—a large, active, highly reactive dog—and was responsible for his day-to-day care as well as working with him on training and behavior. That experience taught me a lot about patience, consistency, reading canine body language, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable in situations that can be challenging for them. I also grew up caring for a small, high-energy family dog and have spent years caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I especially enjoy active dogs who need a good walk, play session, or some extra stimulation, but I’m equally happy to provide a slower-paced outing for dogs who prefer to sniff and explore at their own speed. I’m responsible, attentive, and very respectful of each dog’s routine and boundaries. Whether your dog is social and adventurous, shy and cautious, or a little more complicated, I’ll take the time to understand what makes them comfortable rather than assuming every dog needs the same approach. I’d love to help give your pup some exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention while you’re away! 🐾 My primary job is working with adults and children with special needs, and I have some afternoon and weekend availability that gives me the perfect opportunity to provide dogs with some extra exercise, enrichment, and companionship. I care for pets by following their usual routines and taking the time to understand their individual needs and preferences. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and other care as needed. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pet’s safety and comfort as my priority, and send updates along the way so you know how things are going. I’m also happy to accommodate pets who need a little extra patience, structure, or attention.
About: I've had my own dog since he was six, and now he's 14. From his puppy-like stage to being almost 90 in human years, I've taken care of him in all types of physicality. He was my first dog, but I took care of my friends' and neighbors' dogs since around 6th grade. I've taught him everything from shaking my hand, to weaving through my legs. My current job requires me to come in on an as-needed basis, typically on weekends, but only from 9-3. I have all the time in the world! My yard is not fenced, but we do have a long leash/rope that we keep our dog on when outside (he runs through invisible dog fences). My dog doesn't eat shoes and won't go on furniture unless allowed, so at night he just sleeps in a dog bed. I have worked with crate-trained dogs and always do my best to maintain the pet's daily lifestyle.
About: I have a degree in animal behavior and I’m at home all day long so I am able to provide constant care and attention as well as administer any medication/meet any feeding requirements. Stay at home mom so I am able to give the best care whenever they require/want it! Goes on frequent walks and to dog park daily I have a fenced in patio and baby gates in house as well as my dogs are kennel trained if any dogs need to eat separately and to provide good one on one time
About: As an adult I've had dogs for 25 years and counting. I've also volunteered at various shelters, and I am currently a volunteer for beagle rescue group where I foster and transport dogs as well as complete the home visits for potential adopters. I substitute teach and make my own schedule, so I have flexibility and availability for taking care of your pets. I love to walk dogs in all weather, and I am available for overnights with dogs as needed. I know that there is less stress for dogs and for owners if the dog can stay in a familiar setting which is why I have used rover myself in the past for vacations.

“Deidre was AMAZING with my with two pups and can’t RECOMMEND her enough! Unfortunately, one of my dogs became very ill before I left for vacation and required extensive, round the clock care. Deirdre was able to administer all of the medications, stick to the strict food regimen, come by every 2 hours to check in, and even cleaned up all of the accidents from my sick pup. :/ She kept me updated throughout the trip with texts and pictures, asked questions when needed, and when my other dog sitter fell through at last minute, she was able to rearrange her schedule to cover. Overall, I am very grateful for her help and it truly put my mind at ease knowing Deirdre could be there to take care of them! Thank you again!”
About: I have been caring for dogs almost as long as I have been alive! I am available in the afternoons during the week, and anytime on the weekends. I can care for your dog as little as a short home visit, or a nice outing at the park. Your dog’s safety is a MUST in my book and always my first priority. Anything that could possibly put your dog in harms-way will not be tolerated. When it comes to long stays away from your dog, I highly encourage communication in any shape or form.
