Can’t say enough great things about Balaji and his wife, & let’s not forget their sweet furry child, Mocha! Who has become such a best friend to our Penny. We are incredibly happy with their hosting of our doodle. Their communication, updates (pics/vidoes) is truly incredible! They are understanding with work schedules and do their utmost to accommodate. I also really appreciate all of the walks that Penny enjoys with Mocha! Huge benefit to her health. Thank you again! Excited for next time!

As a first-time dog daycare user, I was filled with worry, but Thea went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. I'm confident that it was a wonderful experience for my dog, Chester, as well. It's hard to put into words how touching the experience was. I am so grateful to Thea, and I have no doubt about her love for dogs. As long as she's available, I will continue to entrust her with Chester.

About: Hello! We love furry friends. We will spend time with your pets and take best care of them. We will let your pets feel like they are always surrounded with love. We need to go to office three days a week. We will get home around 5pm and both me and my husband can take care daily. We have a very friendly 6 years old yellow lab, Coco, at home. We go out 3 times a day and play with her very often. We will do the same thing and crated if you request.

About: I just graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Science. I have grown up with pets and taken care of them for years! I’ve had dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish! I have a lot of experience taking care of animals as I’ve interned at a zoo and volunteered at shelters and vet clinics. I’m very comfortable giving medications to pets as I’ve had a lot of practice with this with my own pets and while sitting! I am currently on summer break so I should be available all day unless I have it blocked off on my calendar! I plan to travel around the end of summer and move out of Illinois in the fall. My house has one kitten, and my backyard is not fenced in. I’d love to take care of your pet in either your home or mine, whichever is easiest!

Jordan loved his stay with Michael and his family. Would definitely have him stay again in the future Thank you Michael!

This house is the definition of love. My dog loves to be around this family and is such a humble experience to know that Uma is so happy to go and spend time with them. Space is super clean, yard is so big and they simply love animals. I came across angels and I’m very very grateful for them!

About: I owned a cat for 16 years and most recently a dog for almost 16! Not ready for another of my own just yet, but missing the cuddles and walks! As a teacher I am back to work this week so will only be available on the weekends for the time being. Will update my availability as holidays and school breaks approach. I have a fenced in side yard area that dogs can use throughout the day. I also have my own crate that a dog can sleep in, as well as my own litter box for cats to use.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, I volunteered at Heartland Animal Shelter for 2+ years fostering kittens, adult cats, hospice cats, and walking working dogs of different sizes and personalities. As a pet, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone patient, loving, and attentive. We only take in one family at a time unless previously discussed- we’ve found this is what works best for our families ❤️ I provide: ✅ Frequent photo updates ✅ Playtime and TLC ✅ Oral medication experience- cats ✅ A calm & quiet enviroment for shy or anxious pets ✅ Reliable routines and potty breaks Your pet will receive a lot of supervision and attention. We have two kids in home who don’t bother the pets or visitors I understand every pet is different, and I always take time to understand their personality, routines, and comfort needs so they feel safe while you’re away ❤️ I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I do occasionally leave for short errands, workouts, or appointments (typically 1–3 hours), but I prioritize maintaining your pet’s routine and comfort. Boarding: We live in a two-story home, with a fully fenced private backyard that the pups love. House broken/trained pets only at this time- fixed/neutered/spayed. We use hypochlorous acid spray & dr. bronners soap to disinfect and clean. Cats litter is sustainably yours and scooped 3x a day. Air purifier by the cats litter. Stainless steel water fountain that the cats and dogs absolutely love. 3-liter anti bloat dog bowl for outside with a sprinkler. We provide our own leash & poop bags- *DOGS WALKED ON HARNESS ONLY-NO COLLARS* *Cats may ocassionaly get churu frozen treats during the summer *Dogs may get some as well or cut apples PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOUD LIKE TO OPT OUT OF THIS OR IF YOUR PETS ARE CHICKEN SENSITIVE House sitting: During my visits, I prioritize safety: all doors are locked at all times, and I take great care to leave your home clean and untouched. I can also bring in packages and mail upon request. For overnight stays, *Apartments only* I provide my own food, bring my own sheet, blanket, pillow, and towel for added comfort. I have one member of my family stay with me during this time. Dog walking: Harness only- no walks by collar. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, routines, and boundaries so they feel secure and cared for. I have experience with cats of all ages, including kittens, seniors, hospice kitties, and cats needing medication. For dogs, I’ve worked with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments through Heartland Animal Shelter. I have a fenced yard for dogs that'll enjoy supervised outdoor time (always safely monitored). Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm companion, I adapt to what makes them happiest.

About: My wife, Jana, and I have been dog lovers our entire lives. Currently, we're proud parents to our wonderful pup, Lula. Lula is a 75lb Komondor-mix. Recently, we said goodbye to our other beloved senior dog, so we understand the unique needs and joys of older dogs. We'd love to open our home to another dog, if only temporarily, to bring some companionship to Lula and fill our hearts with double joy once again. Rest assured, your furry friend will be treated like family while you're away. We can't wait to welcome them into our home with open arms! Jana and I both work from home, ensuring that there's always someone around during the day to provide company and care for your pet. Occasionally, we may step out for a meal or activity in the evenings or on weekends, but your pet will never be left unattended for more than a few hours at a time. Our cozy home boasts a fenced backyard, providing a safe haven for your pet. We enjoy daily walks in our scenic and relaxing neighborhood, ensuring your dog gets plenty of fresh air and exercise if desired. Our dog Lula is e-collar trained, and is playful with other dogs & humans

About: Hi! I'm Livia, and animals have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. Over the years my husband and I have had our own four dogs, two bunnies, and two ducks (yes, really!), so "a little bit of everything" is genuinely our specialty. We don't have any pets of our own right now, which is actually one of the best things about your furry friend staying with us. Your pet gets the run of the house with no resident animals to negotiate with, which is a huge relief for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs/cats who just need room to decompress. And there's a LOT of room. Our entire downstairs is 2,000 square feet and completely open to our guests, with dog beds tucked into every room so they can pick their favorite spot. Outside is a full fenced-in acre yard: space to run, sniff, and roll around in the grass without ever needing a trip to the park. Best of all, at least one of us is home all day, every day. Your pet is never left alone and never crated (unless you'd prefer them to be crated). We're happy handling puppies still learning the rules, seniors who need a gentler pace, medications on a schedule, and nervous pets who need someone patient. And if anything ever were to come up, we're literally a two-minute drive from three different emergency vet clinics. We're looking forward to welcoming your pet! My husband and I both work from home, which is the whole reason we're able to do this so well. There's no window where the house is empty - someone is always here, in the same room (usually being used as a pillow by one of our guests!). That means your pet's routine gets to stay your pet's routine. Whatever their feeding schedule is, we'll keep it. Meds at 7am and 7pm? Done. A dog who needs a mid-afternoon nap in a quiet room, or one who wants to be outside every hour on the hour? Also fine. We're not working around a commute, so we can build the day around them instead of the other way around. You'll get a few photos and updates a day, so you can see exactly how they're settling in. And we always do a meet-and-greet before booking, so everyone (including your pet) knows who they're staying with before the first night. Our yard is a full fenced acre behind a 6-foot privacy fence, so there's serious room to run with no gaps to squeeze through. Inside, our whole downstairs (about 2,000 square feet) is open to our guests, with dog beds in every room so they can pick their preferred spot. Cats stay upstairs in their own quiet, private bedrooms with the doors closed, completely separate from any dogs. We don't have pets of our own, so nobody's defending their territory when your pet walks in. Every booking starts with a meet-and-greet, and if we're hosting more than one family at a time, new dogs meet slowly and on leash in the yard before they're ever loose together. If any pair isn't a match, they get separated. Someone is home 24/7, so your pet is never left alone. We're comfortable with medications, senior pets who need a gentler pace, and nervous ones who need time. And we're literally a two-minute drive from three emergency vet clinics if anything ever were to come up.

Doggy Day Care
5.0 out of 5 stars

Kate was wonderful with Penny! We needed a quiet environment for her with human companionship and attention for a day of doggie daycare and that’s exactly what Kate provided. We just relocated from out of state a couple weeks ago and Penny has been struggling emotionally with the transition and with being away from me during my workdays for the first time. We had tried a big doggie daycare but they were too noisy and impersonal and it was difficult for Penny there. With Kate, Penny was immediately at ease and spent her day staying close and trying out all the different lounging spots she had to offer, even up on the back of the couch! Hehe. Clearly Penny was comfortable there. They went for walks and Kate shared pics and updates which put my mind at ease and allowed me to focus on my work. She was also available at the last minute when another sitter canceled on us unexpectedly. I am so grateful for Kate and will definitely bring Penny back again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Lincolnshire on Rover is $47.73 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of September 2026, there are 3,531 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Lincolnshire. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Lincolnshire commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in IL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 3,531 sitters in Lincolnshire, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
